Abstract

The Web-Based Tourism Information System of Maros Regency (WIKAMA) was developed to provide an efficient platform for promoting tourist destinations and delivering accessible visitor information. The system enhances the tourism experience by offering real-time details on attractions, facilities, and services. Development followed the Waterfall methodology, incorporating modules for destination management, gallery updates, and user interaction. Evaluation employed both functional and non-functional testing to assess performance, security, and usability. Black Box testing confirmed that all seven core functionalities operated successfully and complied fully with the specified requirements. While the system has met its initial objectives, further enhancements are recommended, including online ticketing, integration with social media for broader outreach, and optimization for improved performance. These improvements are expected to strengthen WIKAMA’s role as a digital tool for tourism promotion and regional economic development in Maros Regency.

Abstract

The development of a web-based library information system at SMK 7 Makassar uses the Agile method to improve service efficiency through digitizing the process of managing books, members, borrowing, and reporting. Agile was chosen because of its flexibility in adjusting the system to user needs through iteration and continuous collaboration. The results of testing 11 main features such as login, add/edit/delete book data, add members, borrow, return, book search, transaction reports, logout, and notifications showed that all functions were running well (100% valid). This system is considered responsive, user-friendly, and ready to be implemented to support the needs of a modern, technology-based library.

Abstract

This article presents the development of a web based sales information system for e commerce named Comerch using the Waterfall method. E commerce offers convenient online transactions yet imposes challenges in managing complex sales processes. The study aims to design and implement a system that supports transaction processing, product management, and an accessible and efficient platform. The Waterfall stages applied include requirements analysis, system design, coding, integration, and testing. Findings show that Waterfall enabled a structured and efficient development pipeline and smooth integration of system components. The resulting system provides core functions including product management, payment transactions, and real time reporting which improve operational efficiency and user experience. Scenario based testing confirms that the system performs as expected. Black box testing across forty six scenarios achieved one hundred percent functional validation. The study contributes a practical reference for developing sales information systems for small and medium enterprises and for practitioners seeking predictable and well documented development cycles.

Abstract

In today’s digital era, ensuring website security is crucial, especially in the education sector which is frequently targeted by cyber attacks. This research aims to test security of the Universitas Internasional Batam (UIB) website using OWASP ZAP and Nessus. The method will be used in this research was vulnerability assessment. It will involve gathering information with the tools such as, Nmap, whois and nslookup. OWASP ZAP detected 11 vulnerabilities, categorized into 6 medium level and 5 low level, including Content Security Policies (CSP) and anti-clickjacking headers. Otherwise, Nessus only detected one medium level vulnerability, the absence of HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS). The difference in detection results from the tools that OWASP ZAP is better at finding web application weakness that are consistent with the OWASP Top Ten 2021, while Nessus specifically targets server and network configuration. For educational institutions, these results emphasize the importance of conducting regular vulnerability assessment to protect sensitive data. Recommended action include implementing CSP to prevent Cross-site scripting (XSS) and other injection attacks, enforcing HSTS to secure communication, and its recommend to updating software to mitigate the unknown vulnerabilities. By adopting these measures, institutions can reduce their exposure to cyber attacks, its also can maintain user trust, and strengthen overall security. This research provides a pratical framework for stregthening the security of educational websites against evolving threats. These findings highlight that the importance of using multiple tools can provide a more comprehensive view of security gaps.

Abstract

System security issues are a vital factor that needs to be considered in the operation of systems and networks, which will later be used for disaster mitigation and preventing attacks on the network. Distributed Denial of Services (DDoS) is a form of attack carried out by individuals or groups to damage data through servers or malware in the form of flooding packets, therefore it can paralyze the network system used. Network security is a factor that must be maintained and considered in an information system. DDoS can take the form of Ping of Death, flood, Remote control attack, User Data Protocol (UDP) flood, and Smurf Attack. This study aims to develop software to detect DDoS attacks based on network traffic logs. The software has been tested and run according to the neural network algorithm. This software was developed with an interface that makes it easier for users to detect the source IP whether the IP is carrying out a DDoS attack or normal.
