Abstract

Therefore, entrepreneurship has become a national curriculum in almost every study program and has incorporated entrepreneurship module as one of the subjects in achieving learning outcome and graduate profile. The terms in entrepreneurship are also growing, with the aim of establishing a social construction towards the understanding of entrepreneurship as a science, which contains elements of knowledge, skills and attitudes. Besides, entrepreneurship construct that need to be built in the learning process is very complex and involves multiple disciplines, so it is important to study empirically the relevancy between learning materials and methods in entrepreneurship learning process in higher education. This study aims to examine whether there are differences in the learning materials and methods in entrepreneurial learning at higher education level. The research is carried out in several public and private universities with a sample of 304 students from some courses both for the field of sciences and social studies that have entrepreneurship as one of their taught modules. It can be concluded that entrepreneurial learning materials can be grouped in the aspect of (1) knowledge; (2) skills and (3) attitude. In each aspect, the learning materials are collected and grouped and observed on itslearning methodology. The results by using Anova testing show that there are differences in some teaching materials and learning methods in the same faculty or inter- faculty at several universities. Furthermore, in the cognitive construction of the entrepreneurship metaphor (innovation, creative, proactive and risk -taking), it is found that it has not been delivered usingrelevant learning methods, as well as learning models of personal development. Implikasinya, kewirausahaan telah menjadi kurikulum nasional di hampir disetiap program studi dan telah memasukkan mata kewirausahaan sebagai salah satu mata kuliah untuk mencapai tujuan learning ooutcome dan profil lulusan. Istilah-istilah kewirausahan juga semakin berkembang, dengan tujuan untuk membangun konstruksi sosial terhadap pemahaman kewirausahaan sebagai suatu ilmu yang mengandung unsur pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap. Disamping itu konstruk kewirausaahan yang akan dibangun dalam proses pembelajaran sangat kompleks dan melibatkan beberapa disiplin ilmu, sehingga penting untuk diteliti secara empirik bagaimana RelevansiMateridanMetodePembelajaranKewirausahaanPada Tingkat Pendidikan Tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah terdapat perbedaan materi dan metode dalam pembelajaran kewirausahaan pada level pendidikantinggi. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap beberapa perguruan tinggi negeri dan swasta dengan 304 sampel mahasiswa dari beberapa program studibaikuntukbidangeksaktamaupunsosial yang menyelenggarakanmatakuliahkewirausahaan. Dari hasil penelitiandi simpulkan materi pembelajaran kewirausahaan dapat dikelompokkan pada aspek (1) pengetahuan (2) keterampilan dan (3) aspek sikap. Pada masing-masing aspek dikumpulkan materi yang diajarkan dan dikelompokkan serta bagaimana metode pembelajarannya. Hasil penelitian dengan pengujian teknik Anova menunjukkan, terdapat perbedaan beberapa mataeri ajar dan metode belajar dalam fakultas yang sama maupun antar fakultas pada beberapa universitas. Demikian juga dalam konstruksi kognitif terhadap metaphora entreprenurship (keinovasian, kreatif, proaktif dan risk taking) menunjukkan belum diantarkan dengan metode belajar yang relevan, sebagaimana mod(l-model pembelajaran pengembangan personal. Abstract

This study examines the impact of simulacrum-based consumption, particularly in the context of Shopee PayLater usage, on consumer behavior and financial sustainability. The study identifies how consumers are influenced by promotional strategies and social status rather than actual financial capacity. The research employs a qualitative approach by analyzing user behavior patterns and financial implications of installment-based consumption. The findings indicate that Shopee PayLater fosters an illusion of ownership, leading to increased consumer debt and a lack of financial awareness. Additionally, the study highlights a shift in consumer habits from necessity-driven purchases to image-based consumption. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of financial literacy to mitigate excessive reliance on digital credit services. The study suggests that both consumers and e-commerce platforms should take a more responsible approach to financial management to prevent long-term financial instability.

Abstract

This research analyzes the phenomenon of hyperconsumption in modern society based on Jean Baudrillard's theory of simulation and simulacra. The formulation of the problems raised are: How does the process of simulation and simulacra contribute to excessive consumption, and what are the theoretical and practical implications for postmodern society. This research uses a literature study approach (narrative review), namely by analyzing relevant scientific writings, books, and journal articles. The results show that media, advertising, and digital technology contribute to creating false needs and images that transcend reality, resulting in hyperreality and implosion of meaning. This encourages people to continue consuming to fulfill identity and recognition needs, not functional needs. This research also found the need for critical awareness and a broader theoretical approach to create a more humane, just and appropriate consumption model.

Abstract

The gusdurian network is an open movement, the gusdurian network was established in 2010 in Surabaya. This movement emerged with the aim of imitating the 9 values of Gus Dur, namely monotheism, humanity, justice, equality, liberation, brotherhood, simplicity, chivalry, and traditional wisdom. This article uses the relevance of Singh's identity theory to find out how these gusdurian networks are able to maintain their identity as a new social movement that aims to instill religious tolerance. The method used in this article is a literature review method by collecting 20 relevant articles on gusdurian tissue. The results of research from the review literature show that first, the Gusdurian network strives to continue to maintain their identity in the midst of the diversity of society as a religious movement that instills religious tolerance. second, the movement held by the Gusdurian network in an effort to instill the values of tolerance, namely the celebration of Tolerance Day, interfaith meetings, and creating content uploaded on @jaringan Gusdurian's Instagram account. In addition, the Gusdurian network strives to continue to maintain their identity in the midst of the diversity of society as a religious movement that instills religious tolerance. Thus, it can be concluded that the purpose of this paper is to introduce more widely to the public about the Gusdurian Network, to know how the Gusdurian Network can maintain their identity as an organization engaged in imitating religious tolerance, and to understand what strategies are applied by the Gusdurian Network to maintain the value of tolerance instilled by Gus Dur as the father of pluralism in Indonesia.

Abstract

Adolescence is a crucial transitional phase in identity formation vulnerable to imbalanced power relations and gender exploitation. This study aims to deconstruct the dynamics of exploitation in adolescents through the lens of the Sociology of Education by analyzing Aurélie Moeremans' memoir, Broken Strings (2025). Employing a descriptive qualitative method with a literature review approach, primary data were sourced from the memoir text through comprehensive document studies and analyzed using critical theory-based coding techniques. The analysis integrates Michel Foucault’s concepts of the Panopticon and Power/Knowledge to identify disciplinary mechanisms, alongside Radical Feminist theories from Adrienne Rich, Kate Millett, and Andrea Dworkin to examine bodily control and domestication. The findings reveal that perpetrators construct “regimes of truth” through religious doctrines and psychological manipulation (grooming) to paralyze the victim's autonomy. This study concludes that such phenomena represent the failure of educational and family institutions to foster Paulo Freire’s “conscientization” (critical consciousness), necessitating a transformation toward critical pedagogy as a preventive measure.

Abstract

Flood disasters have repeatedly affected Aceh Tamiang Regency for over fifteen years, causing significant material and socio-cultural losses. This study aims to examine the social response of the community through a literature review approach, using Jurgen Habermas's Communicative Action Theory as the analytical framework. Data were collected systematically from national journal articles, scientific proceedings, and academic reports related to flood mitigation and community social response in Aceh Tamiang. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis and thematic analysis techniques. The findings reveal that the community's response is primarily driven by local solidarity rooted in cultural values and local wisdom such as hadih maja. In Habermasian terms, this social response reflects the lifeworld domain, manifesting in voluntary collective action. However, a structural tension exists between the government's top-down system and the community's communicative rationality. Effective disaster mitigation requires the development of participatory public spaces that bridge the system and lifeworld, enabling the transformation from instrumental action to communicative action, thereby strengthening collective resilience against flood disasters.

Abstract

The dual role of women in family economics is a phenomenon shaped by the interplay of economic pressure and social construction within patriarchal society. This study aims to examine the dual role of women in family economics through Judith Butler's gender performativity perspective. The method used is a literature study with a descriptive qualitative data analysis approach, drawing on scientific sources published between 2020 and 2026. The findings indicate that women not only carry out domestic roles as housewives but are also actively involved in the public sphere to meet family economic needs. This condition gives rise to a double burden that affects physical exhaustion and psychological pressure. Within Butler's theoretical framework, the dual role is understood not as something natural, but as a product of social norms reproduced through repeated practices in everyday life. Nevertheless, women's participation in the public sphere has been shown to open spaces for increased independence and negotiation of gender relations within the family. This study underscores the importance of critical understanding of gender construction in order to achieve a fair and equal division of labor.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how student lifestyles are represented on Instagram and how these representations can be understood through the concept of hyperreality. The research applies a qualitative approach using a literature review method by analyzing relevant scientific articles published within the last ten years. The findings indicate that Instagram is not only used as a communication medium but also as a space for self-representation. Students tend to upload curated content that highlights selected aspects of their lives, often emphasizing positive and visually appealing experiences. This practice reflects a process of constructing identity in the digital space. Through Jean Baudrillard’s perspective, these representations can be seen as forms of simulation that produce simulacra, where representations no longer directly refer to actual reality. As a result, a condition of hyperreality emerges, in which the boundary between reality and representation becomes increasingly blurred. This situation influences how students interpret social life and interact within digital environments. The study highlights the importance of understanding social media not only as a platform for interaction but also as a space where meanings and perceptions of reality are continuously shaped.

Abstract

Money in modern society does not merely function as a medium of economic exchange, but has also transformed into a symbol of power and a tool of social domination. This study aims to map the development of research on money as a symbol of power through Pierre Bourdieu’s perspective within the 2018–2025 period. The method used is a literature review to identify trends, main themes, methods, and research gaps from 16 related scientific articles. The results of the analysis indicate that the focus of research has evolved from basic concepts such as habitus and capital toward more complex issues, including money politics in democracy, the cultural meaning of uang panai, and symbolic capital in the digital era. Another finding reveals that qualitative approaches still dominate this field of study, although there are limitations in terms of empirical field data support. This study is expected to provide a theoretical foundation for developing practical solutions in understanding the management of symbolic power in society.

Abstract

Fenomena nongkrong di kafe estetika semakin menjadi bagian dari gaya hidup mahasiswa di era kontemporer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memeriksa bagaimana kegiatan ini berfungsi sebagai simbol kelas sosial di antara para mahasiswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah metode literatur riview, mencari berbagai sumber ilmiah yang relevan tentang gaya hidup, konsumsi simbolis, dan stratifikasi sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kafe estetika bukan hanya tempat untuk konsumsi tetapi juga ruang untuk representasi diri yang mencerminkan selera, preferensi, dan posisi sosial seseorang. Mahasiswa menggunakan kafe estetika untuk membangun citra modern, mendapatkan pengakuan sosial, dan memperkuat identitas kelompok. Selain itu, media sosial berperan dalam memperkuat makna simbolis ini melalui visualisasi pengalaman yang disajikan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa praktik nongkrong di kafe estetika telah menjadi bagian dari strategi simbolis untuk menunjukkan kelas sosial mahasiswa.
