Abstract

Berkembangnya dunia teknologi telekomunikasi dan informasi sejalan dengan kebutuhan akan kecepatan dan kestabilan akses internet teknologi UMTS. Metode drive test adalah metode yang biasanya digunakan untuk pengukuran kualitas sebuah site. Pihak provider umumnya menggunakan software TEMS Investigation dalam melakukan drive test. Melakukan drive test dengan TEMS Investigation sangatlah tidak praktis dan memerlukan biaya yang besar. Berkembangnya teknologi smartphone membuat drive test dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan handphone yaitu dengan G-NetTrack Pro. Namun G-NetTrack Pro tidak memiliki kemampuan yang sama dengan TEMS Investigation. Software G-NetTrack Pro dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pembelajaran yaitu untuk pengenalan drivetest namun belum cocok digunakan secara profesional. G-NetTrack Pro dapat menampilkan data yang dibutuhkan dalam drive test namun tidak sedetail TEMS Investigation, sehingga dalam proses pembelajaran dapat digunakan untuk pengenalan karena efisien dan dapat di install pada handphone mahasiswa namun tidak dapat digunakan melakukan drive test misalnya dalam dunia kerja atau secara professional.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai otentifikasi dan otorisasi akses ke jaringan wifi membantu penyedia layanan hotspot untuk mendapatkan data bagi setiap pengunjung yang menggunakan layanan hotspot, setiap data yang didapat akan tersimpan pada server database. Pada penelitian ini, akan menguji system otentifikasi pemanfaatan media sosial untuk mengetahui waktu yang diperlukan dalam proses otentkasi dan otorisasi yang terjadi. Tahap penelitian, penulis melakukan beberapa skenario pengujian, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui waktu dari setiap proses otentifikasi dan otorisasi dari setiap skenario pengujian, selain itu penulis melakukan pengambilan alur data proses otentifikasi dan otorisasi, sehingga dapat dibandingkan dengan waktu. Skenario yang dipergunakan dalam pengujian diantaranya data yang terdaftar dan data yang tidak terdaftar pada database. Selain itu penulis menggunakan data salah dalam proses pengujian, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui waktu tunggu jika terjadi kesalahan input data.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze Internet-based streaming video service in the communication media with variable bit rates. The proposed scheme on Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP (DASH) using the internet network that adapts to the protocol Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP). DASH technology allows a video in the video segmentation into several packages that will distreamingkan. DASH initial stage is to compress the video source to lower the bit rate video codec uses H.26. Video compressed further in the segmentation using MP4Box generates streaming packets with the specified duration. These packages are assembled into packets in a streaming media format Presentation Description (MPD) or known as MPEG-DASH. Streaming video format MPEG-DASH run on a platform with the player bitdash teritegrasi bitcoin. With this scheme, the video will have several variants of the bit rates that gave rise to the concept of scalability of streaming video services on the client side. The main target of the mechanism is smooth the MPEG-DASH streaming video display on the client. The simulation results show that the scheme based scalable video streaming MPEG-DASH able to improve the quality of image display on the client side, where the procedure bufering videos can be made constant and fine for the duration of video views

Abstract

Teknologi robotika telah berkembang pesat untuk membantu kerja masyarakat dengan mesin sesuai kebutuhan. Sesuai tujuan dasar dari pengembangan teknologi robotika yaitu untuk membantu manusia dalam mengerjakan pekerjaan yang membutuhkan keakuratan tinggi, memiliki resiko tinggi, dan pekerjaan yang dilakukan berulang-ulang. Salah satu aplikasi teknologi robotika yang berhubungan dengan sistem kontrol adalah prototype dari sistem kendali otomatis robot mobil untuk parkir pintar menggunakan komunikasi nirkabel. Sistem ini menggunakan bluetooth HC-05 berbasis sistem kontrol ATmega32.Bluetooth HC-05 bertindak sebagai media komunikasi nirkabel yang menghubungkan robot mobil dengan smartphone. Sistem kontrol Atmega32 pada robot mobil menerima data input melalui sensor jarak, sensor garis, tombol dan smartphone. Hasil yang telah diproses pada sistem kontrol robot mobil ditransmisikan kembali ke smartphone. Sistem kontrol pada robot mobil dapat mengendalikan driver motor sehingga motor dc berputar dan robot mobil bergerak. Motor dc merupakan bagian dari robot mobil yang memungkinkan mobil tersebut untuk bergerak dan bermanuver.Hasil akhir yang dicapai melalui penelitian ini adalah sistem komunikasi nirkabel yang dapat mengkontrol pergerakan pada robot mobil, membaca jarak pada sisi depan robot mobil, kiri dan kanan, membaca nilai dari sensor garis robot mobil, bergerak maju, mundur, berbelok ke kiri dan kanan sesuai dengan data yang diterima sensor. Pergerakan dari robot mobil dapat diatur baik secara manual maupun otomatis.

Abstract

Abstract— Intelligent transport systems in the android operating system is able to bring about change is very important in human life. Objectives and benefits in this thesis is to obtain an application program measuring the speed of vehicles in real time based on Android using the Frame Difference and Bounding Box wearingreference distance, the vehicle speed of 10 km / h, 20 km / h and 30 km / h and distance 6 meters. After getting the average speed of vehicles, will be calculated deviation measurements of vehicle speed and the actual results compared to the average. For the measurement of the speed of vehicles put on the vehicle speed measurement applications in realtime based on android gained an average of 20.572 km / h with a maximum deviation 0.572 km / h and an average of 29.688 km / h with minimal deviation 0.312 km / h. For the measurement of the speed of vehicles put on the analysis of vehicle speed measurement in digital video recording obtained by an average of 31.454 km / h with a maximum deviation 1,454 km / h and an average of 10.112 km / h with minimal deviation 0.112 km / h.

Abstract

Telecommunication technology and applications have developed fast recently. Hence this development will take energy consumption significantly. Many studies have been done on energy efficiency on cellular network. The studies are more focused on energy usage of the base station, as the base station is the component of cellular station which takes the most energy consumption. Therefore this study analyzes energy efficiency on homogeneous network of WCDMA/3G for outdoor environment. Energy consumption of three macro base stations is compared with energy consumption of 12 micro base stations. This comparison analysis has been conducted on the same Area Spectral Efficiency (ASE). The results show that the macro base stations are more efficient for energy usage than the micro base stations. However based on ASE requirements, the micro base stations are more efficient than the macro base stations on both busy hours and non-busy hour.

Abstract

Nowadays, the development tendency of information and communication technology is toward its flexibilityand ease of deployment. Cable networks require higher installation cost than wireless network. Therefore,implementation of wireless network, especially a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN), becomes more populardue to its coverage and flexibility. The 802.11a is the first published WLAN standard from IEEE which offers widecoverage to stationary consumer terminals. In this paper OPNET Modeler Simulator was used to analyze theapplication standard of 802.11a. Abstract

Abstract— This study was conducted to find out which network is more effective and the quality of the existing network, Design A, and Design B at Wongaya Cluster. Existing network has 368 homepass, with 259 homeconnected users. Using the Farthest FAT (F.8) output attenuation of field measurement was -20.11 dBm, the optisystem test obtain an output attenuation -19.954 dBm, and based on power link budget calculation, output attenuation was -20.399 dBm. Existing network has a projection for the next five years of 462 users. Design A has 496 homepasses and tested on farthest FAT (G.4) testing on the optisystem to obtain an output attenuation of -19.704 dBm, and based on the calculation of the power link budget, an output attenuation of -20.7414 dBm was obtained. Design B has 256 homepasses and tested on the furthest FAT (H.4) testing on the optisystem to obtain an output attenuation of -16.765 dBm, and based on calculation of the power link budget, output attenuation was -17.09175 dBm. Based on results of this test, Design A is more effective design to use because it can meet customer needs in five years with quality according to ITU-T and Company standards. Abstract

Abstract—This research was conducted to determine the projected growth of subscribers and traffic in the Sumbersari cluster in five years. This study has three stages, namely collecting customer and traffic data, making projections of customer and traffic growth and analyzing projected customer and traffic growth in the Sumbersari cluster. The results of this study are the existing Sumbersari cluster network using a gigabit passive optical network with fiber to the home architecture with cascading passive splitters 1:8 and 1:8. The Sumbersari cluster has a capacity of 512 subscribers (home pass) and 323 existing customers that have been installed (home connected) with a take-up ratio of 63% and the Sumbersari cluster has an average maximum traffic of 454 Mbps with a traffic capacity of 1000 Mbps. The Sumbersari cluster has projected customer growth in 2026 of 605 customers, so expansion is needed to meet the projected customer growth needs. The Sumbersari cluster has a projected traffic growth in 2026 of 805 Mbps, so there is no need for additional traffic capacity. Keywords— Take up ratio, homepass, homeconnected, traffic

Abstract

Data demand from personal mobile devices over cellular networks is rapidly increasing. For time-delay tolerant data, the use of paid technology is inefficient. As an alternative for time-delay tolerant data delivery, opportunistic networks are emerging as an effective infrastructure-less communication model. Before it can be used as an alternative solution, it is necessary to analyze the performance of using opportunistic networks, especially the basic routing patterns used. This research analyzes the performance of routing patterns in opportunistic networks by utilizing inter-vehicle networks as mobile nodes in Denpasar City. Two basic routing patterns, namely epidemic and spray and wait, are simulated using The ONE Simulator into two scenarios including a scenario of increasing the average vehicle and a scenario of increasing the buffer size. The simulation results show that in the inter-vehicle network utilization, epidemic routing pattern is superior to spray and wait in terms of delivery probability and average latency, but when assessing in terms of overhead ratio, spray and wait routing pattern can provide lower results. This shows that the epidemic routing pattern is suitable for systems that do not care about high resource utilization.
