Abstract

Keamanan Penerbangan merupakan suatu kondisi untuk melindungi penerbangan dari Tindakan Melawan Hukum melalui perpaduan antara pemanfaatan sumber daya manusia, prosedur dan fasilitas. Terdapat berbagai jenis tindakan melawan hukum dalam dunia penerbangan salah satunya adalah memasuki Daerah Keamanan Tebatas, atau area aeronautika secara tidak sah seperti kasus “Mario” yang melakukan penyusupan perimeter bandar udara sehingga masuk ke roda pesawat Garuda Indonesia pada tahun 2015. Untuk mencegah terjadinya kejadian serupa, maka perlu diterapkan fasilitas keamanan penerbangan dengan teknologi terkini untuk mengantisipasi adanya penyusup yang memasuki Daerah Keamanan Terbatas. salah satunya adalah sistem deteksi penyusup perimeter (PIDS). Dalam penelitian ini, dilakukan perancangan PIDS berbasis IoT dengan menggunakan metode fuzzy logic. PIDS yang dirancang menggunakan mikrokontroler Node MCU ESP8266 dan dilengkapi sensor PIR untuk mendeteksi pergerakan manusia, sensor ultrasonik untuk mengukur jarak, kamera ESP-32, relay, indikator buzzer. Berdasarkan pengujian skenario, kinerja dari dianalisis menggunakan metode confusion matrix dan dapat dinyatakan bahwa prototype sistem pendeteksi penyusup perimeter yang dirancang memiliki akurasi yang baik/good classification (83.33%). Abstract

As a center for Information and Communication Technology services, the Global Distance Learning Network (GDLN) of Udayana University must reconsider the implementation of static routing protocols that have been applied to meet the increasing demands of computer networks. Dynamic routing protocols, such as Intermediate System to Intermediate System (IS-IS), can be used to address the challenges currently faced with static routing, and serve as a more viable option for larger network requirements. This research evaluates the implementation of static routing protocols and IS-IS at the UNUD Denpasar campus using Graphical Network Simulator-3 to assess the future utilization of the IS-IS routing protocol. Quality of Service (QoS) parameters are used to assess network performance, while the scenarios include PING intervals with settings close to streaming YouTube videos. The research findings reveal that both routing protocols exhibit good service quality, meeting TIPHON criteria with excellent evaluations for packet loss, throughput, and delay, in addition to satisfactory criteria for jitter. Simulation tests demonstrate the superiority of the IS-IS routing protocol compared to static routing when transmitting data in high-resolution streaming video formats like 480p, 720p, and 1080p. On the other hand, static routing is more suitable for disseminating data consisting of lower-resolution streaming videos (360p). Based on the research results, it can be inferred that the dynamic routing protocol IS-IS is more suitable for meeting network demands on a larger scale.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the performance of routing patterns in opportunistic networks for transmitting time-tolerant information, such as product prices and store coordinates in the Kuta, Badung area by using pedestrians as intermediaries and recipients of information. Two basic routing patterns, epidemic and spray and wait, are simulated using The ONE Simulator into two scenarios including a scenario of increasing average pedestrian density and a scenario of increasing buffer size. The simulation results show that in the scenario of increasing the average pedestrian density, the epidemic routing has a higher delivery probability and lower average latency than the spray and wait routing, but the spray and wait routing has a lower overhead ratio value. In the scenario of increasing buffer size, the spray and wait routing has a higher delivery probability and lower average latency at smaller buffer sizes. Meanwhile, the epidemic routing pattern produces a higher delivery probability and lower average latency at a larger buffer size, although with a difference that is not too significant.

Abstract

The study investigates the impact of distance and speed on wireless communication networks, on vehicle-to-vehicle communication using the low-cost module NRF24L01. Evaluation of performance indicators, such as latency and data loss, is carried out to determine the impact of both of these factors. Understanding the impact of distance and speed on wireless networks is vital as dynamic vehicle-to-vehicle communication develops. The study used several evaluation variations, including measurements ranging from 5 to 100 metres in a stationary scenario, as well as additional tests performed in moving conditions. The test results can provide insight into the advancement of intelligent transportation systems, improving safety, efficiency, and general communication in vehicle-to-vehicle interaction. This will optimize the implementation of the end result of the technology generated by the parties involved.

Abstract

This study presents the design of a Smart Lecture Room system that utilizes light intensity sensors, specifically CJMCU101. These sensors are installed in each classroom to monitor the ambient conditions. The implementation of the designed system was carried out in the classrooms of the Udayana University Electrical Engineering Study Program. To achieve this goal, the classroom utilized by the Electrical Engineering Study Program of Udayana University was divided into two classes (DH101 and DH102) and a sensor was installed in each class as an IoT device. The IoT devices are connected to a Raspberry Pi Access Point, where the data from the sensors is stored and monitored using the Thinger.io platform. The validation of the sensor testing is carried out by comparing the results obtained from the sensors with the results obtained from a thermohygrometer measurement. This research produces a prototype smart lecture system, applied to a classroom mockup, that employs IoT devices, sensor databases, and sensor monitoring. The data from each sensor's detection is stored in the LAMP database, which employs Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP. The Thinger.io platform monitors the values of each sensor. A variation in accuracy between the sensor and measuring instrument results in a difference in their values. The CJMCU101 light intensity sensor has an average accuracy of 93.48% compared to the measuring instrument on DH101. The average accuracy of the sensor value compared to the measuring instrument on DH102 is 95.96%.

Abstract

A reliable and failure-resistant computer network is an important prerequisite in the modern interconnected environment. This research aims to examine and compare the effectiveness of fault tolerance between two commonly used routing protocols, namely static routing and OSPF (Open Shortest Path First), in the context of hybrid networks at Udayana University (UNUD). This research uses GNS3 to simulate the UNUD network environment. The research method is carried out by implementing static and OSPF routing separately in the GNS3 simulation. After the routing implementation is carried out, the network is tested against various error scenarios to observe how each routing method handles the situation.In this research, the analysis results provide a deeper understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of each routing method. Our findings illustrate that OSPF significantly improves fault tolerance and network availability compared to static routing in complex hybrid network environments.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a prototype vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication system utilizing the NRF24L01 module, ESP32 microcontroller, and OLED display in simplex mode. The system enables effective and instant communication between vehicles in the Vehicle Ad-Hoc Networks (VANETs) environment. In the implementation, we optimized the power transmission level and data rate to ensure fast and responsive data transmission. We integrated key components, such as the ESP32, NRF24L01, and OLED display, into the hardware design to establish a reliable and seamlessly integrated system. We also designed the prototype to minimize costs. The prototype demonstrates an effective and cost-efficient technical solution for vehicle communication, making it suitable for research and development projects requiring wireless communication in real-world vehicle scenarios. This research aims to positively contribute to advancing technology to support connectivity and safety in future vehicle mobility. The findings of this research can be beneficial for researchers, engineers, and policymakers interested in improving vehicular communication and mobility.

Abstract

The Bali government is trying to re-optimize Bali's tourism potential after the Covid-19 pandemic. To improve the Balinese economy which had declined during the Covid-19 pandemic where foreign tourist visits decreased by 99.93%. In 2022, the tourism industry in Bali finally recovered with an increase in foreign tourist visits by 12.23%. The Bali government needs to optimize the number of foreign tourist visits to re-optimize the tourism sector. One way that can be done is to improve digital-based information services to introduce Bali to tourists. Therefore, to assist the Bali provincial government in optimizing the tourism sector, a recommendation system for tourist attractions in Bali called "MELALI" was created by utilizing the IMDb Weighted Rating algorithm and equipped with a chatbot as a customer service. Based on the results of system testing using Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), the result is 0.0126 (close to zero), this shows that the model made has a small error rate, besides that the chatbot feature has also been able to identify keywords and provide output in accordance with the requested keywords. Overall the system is running well.

Abstract

This study investigates the efficacy of the affordable NRF24L01 wireless communication module in half-duplex mode for vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication. The prototype integrated the NRF24L01 module with an ESP32 microcontroller and an OLED display. The study assesses the delay and packet success rate to uncover the module's attributes under half-duplex situations. This not only surpasses the mere collecting of data, but also emphasizes the practical limitations and strengths of the module. The project aims to achieve two main objectives: firstly, to gather empirical data that may be used to make well-informed decisions in the design of NRF24L01 applications, and secondly, to contribute to the broader examination of wireless communications protocols. It improves comprehension of the impact of half-duplex operation on the performance of the NRF24L01 module. By revealing the mechanics of half-duplex communication, it enhances the efficiency of NRF24L01 usage and facilitates the development of a better protocol.
