Abstract— In maintaining the quality of aviation fuel, before being marketed, the aviation fuel must pass through the filtering stage using a filter. The use of filters must be monitored for efficiency by using a PDG (pressure different gauge) instrument. PDG is a measuring device that is equipped with a switch and will be a disconnect when the PDG needle shows a number above 15 psi. However, filter monitoring is only done by looking at the PDG installed on each filter and the switches on the PDG have not been used at all. From this problem, the author conducted research out by designing and building a tool that can monitor switches on the PDG and provide SMS notifications. In its design, the device uses Arduino Uno as a microcontroller with a 12VDC power supply. This device is equipped with GSM SIM900A which functions to send SMS. Based on research, the highest current consumption is 0.18 A and the smallest is 0.11 A. The average time for sending an SMS is 7 seconds. Based on testing the tool can work as expected. With the design and construction of this device, it is expected to help PT. Pertamina DPPU Ngurah Rai to monitoring the performance of filters in realtime so that the replacement of filter elements can be done in a timely manner and maintain the marketed aviation has good quality.

[TRUNITIN CHECK 20%, 26042017]

Abstract— The exact estimation of the number of colonies or Colony Forming Units (CFUs) is frequently used in microbiology research, particularly in the field of bacteria. The number of colonies that develop per gram or milliliter of sample is estimated by multiplying the number of plates, the dilution factor, and the volume used [1]. Counting the number of bacterial colonies can be used to determine a bacterium's growth rate. The cup count method is commonly used to accomplish this manually. An instrument called a colony counter can help with colony counting utilizing the cup count method. This technology works by using a pen connected to a counter to mark the colonies that have been counted. However, because the colony size is tiny and the number of colonies counted is huge, this can lead to inaccuracies, and the same difficulties can happen with manual colony computations. Digital image processing technology has been extensively developed for use in a variety of fields. Researchers had previously undertaken a similar study that attempted to count bacterial colonies and had a 94 percent accuracy rate, but some colonies were not spotted because they were filtered during preprocessing, so they looked into it further. Organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) have emerged as one of the most important generallighting technologies of the future. The current state-of-the-art OLED utilizes various differentlayers which function separately as carriers transport, carriers and excitons blocker, and emittinglayer. The emission layer of the OLED is normally formed by a host-guest system obtained byco-evaporating a small amount of guest molecule in the matrix of host material. It is generallyaccepted that in a host-guest system, concentration quenching is caused by molecules aggregation. As concentration of guest molecule increases, a drop in quantum efficiency is followed by a redshiftin the emission spectrum, characteristics of aggregate state. Here we show that concentrationquenching is also caused by another Förster-type interaction. We investigate this Förster-typeexciton quenching process in various organic molecules and its effect to the exciton diffusion.
