Abstract

A control system is defined as a combination of several components that aim to produce a system response in accordance with the desired process variables. Therefore, control systems are now widely used in various fields such as industry, automotive, public facilities, and household appliances. Especially in the industrial field, control systems play a role in improving production quality and reducing production costs. To create qualified human resources who have a good understanding in this field, universities have an important role in realizing this. One of them is Udayana University through the Electrical Engineering Study Program in the Independent Learning Curriculum in the Control System + Lab Course. This study aims to design a Digital-Based Control System + Lab Trainer Kit Module using Arduio Uno to support the process of implementing practicum in the laboratory. In the trainer kit module, there will be three systems designed, which are DC motor direction and speed control system using L298N motor driver, water heater control system using DS18B20 temperature sensor, and also water level control system using HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor.

Abstract

This research discusses the application of the prototype method in designing a website-based employee recruitment information system. The case study used in this research is Berlian Agency, which is a business in the field of digital services that serves various needs, especially in the field of marketing such as website creation, social media management, and so on. The research carried out was adjusted to the business processes that were running at Berlian Agency, as well as by ongoing events and current conditions, therefore researchers used a descriptive method in this study. The descriptive research method is a research method that aims to describe and explain objects based on existing conditions. In this study, the development method chosen was the prototype method. The application of the prototype method makes it easier to design this system because there is a prototyping section that makes it easier for researchers to make the necessary designs. This study aims to produce an information system design for employee acceptance. Based on the research results, this system has been successfully designed as expected so that the prototype that has been made can be used as a basis for continuing to work on the system to be made. The results of this design can be used as a blueprint or documentation for the company with the hope that later it can be used as literature to develop a real employee recruitment system.

Abstract

Abstract— Literally embedded systems are defined as equipment that computes a particular job. Embedded Linux System was also developed as a means of education, one of which is ED-255EK Embedded Education Platform, designed to be very practical and consume very low power. ED-255EK is also equipped with a PXA255 processor that is compatible with ARM version 5TE ISA, so it can be used to carry out various kinds of lab work or experiments on embedded systems. The working principle of this tool begins with the configuration of data communication between Fedora Linux and ED-255EK. When the communication goes well, it is downloaded by the ED-255EK system to a laptop or computer that has been installed with the Fedora 9.0 Linux operating system. To take advantage of the ED-255FPGA module, driver module installation is required first, after which the application program is installed. Laptops or computers that have installed the Fedora 9.0 Linux operating system will act as input and output programs making it easier to monitor each module that is being run. The module used is the ARM 1923 Robot Module and Voice Module ED4321.

Abstract

Brain tumors are one of the most deadly diseases, one of the most common types is glioma, about 6 out of 100,000 patients are glioma sufferers. Digital imagery through Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is one method to help doctors analyze and classify brain tumor types. However, manual classification requires a long time and has a high risk of errors, so an automatic and accurate method is needed to classify MRI images. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is one of the solutions for automatic classification in MRI images. CNN is a deep learning algorithm that has the ability to learn on its own from the previous case. And from the research that has been done, the results obtained that CNN is able to complete the classification of brain tumors with high accuracy. Accuracy enhancements are obtained by developing the CNN algorithm either by determining the kernel value and / or activation function.

Abstract

The quality of a teacher has become the center of attention in research in the field of education. The quality of the teacher is not only measured by the qualifications and insights of a teacher, but also dedication and commitment in the classroom One of the things that can be used to assess the quality of teachers is to assess the opinions of students. Therefore, student opinions at the end of the class such as questionnaires are needed to help teachers understand student learning behavior and improve the quality of teaching in the classroom. Opinion summarization is a method to make summaries automatically from a set of opinions about a particular target. Opinion summarization will explore the features of one's opinion, capture whether the opinion includes positive or negative opinions, then summarize the results. Based on the results of testing and analysis that has been done in the previous discussion, it can be concluded that the accuracy value obtained is 93,44% with 97,66% precision and 92,85%. recall. This proves that the system that has been built is accurate and can help the company to see the performance of the teachers.

Abstract

Sending data with large data sizes between two or more computers in a company is affected by various factors, both the network connection of the two computers to the data exchange method used, one method that can be used is the ZeroMQ library. The method of sending files using the ZeroMQ method is relatively faster because the architecture is brokerless or without middleware as an intermediary so that the process of sending files can be done quickly and can blow up the resources used. The ZeroMQ method was originally created to send messages, but we can add file conversion algorithms to binary numbers, so the messages sent are binary numbers from encoded files. This application is built on the Python programming language so that it is easier to develop again. The results of the design of file transfer applications using the ZeroMQ library performed on two server computers and client computers explain that this method can be used to send files and from the results of the test the time required and the latency value is relatively faster and more stable.

Abstract

Calibration now has an important role in determining the operational suitability of measuring instruments in various fields. Currently, equipment, especially measuring instruments for public and public facilities, has not yet been properly calibrated according to existing regulations. Calibration is carried out to ensure data validity Which produced frommeasuring instrument. Calibration acts as a process to ensure the accuracy, precision, and reliability of measuring instruments. This article investigates several literatures related to the role of calibration in improving the quality of measuring instruments based on calibration methods that can be used according to the urgency. The results of assessing the operational feasibility of equipment or measuring instruments are determined through a calibration process. Apart from that, calibration can be carried out using several methods such us the single point calibration method, multi point calibration method, and reference instrument calibration method. Reviews based on useful calibration literature in the fields of health, environment, technology, maritime and aviation. Implementing appropriate and documented calibration is important in supporting valid data on medical devices, scientific research, traceability of sensors from a new system, guaranteeing data reliability, and providing reliable services, as well as having a positive impact on various aspects of life and technological development.Keywords—Benefits of calibration; Calibration; Calibration method; Measuring instrument; Traceability.

Abstract

Information System of Kesiman Kertalangu (SIKEKAL) is a system implemented in the Kesiman Kertalangu Village as a solution to facilitate the accommodation of population administration services. To measure and evaluate the performance of the system used it is necessary to conduct an audit using the COBIT 4.1 framework, which in this case is focused on measuring the maturity level of the SIKEKAL system based on aspects of the DS (Delivery and Support) domain, especially in the subdomains of DS5, DS10, DS11, and DS13. This evaluation process also aims to provide recommendations for problems found in the system to be able to be improved in achieving the maturity target to be achieved by the Kesiman Kertalangu Village Office.

Abstract

Research discusses the decision support system method which is considered to be used for selection of the best time of hotel dynamic price change. The research was conducted by analyzing the results and process of applying the AHP, TOPSIS, SAW, and SMART methods in sample case of selection of the best time of hotel dynamic price change. The conclusions obtained from this research, the AHP and SAW methods have advantages in the consistency of the matrix and the calculation process compared to other methods. The writer recommends combining the AHP and SAW methods in decision support system of best time selection of hotel dynamic price change by considering matrix validity and ease of calculation process, with the hope that the decisions produced are more accurate with a less risk of errors.

Abstract

In the waste reporting process is still done manually, so the hotel is required to come to the Badung Regency Environment and Hygiene Office and then submit the report. These activities cause the reporting process to require a long duration and the progress of the report cannot be monitored by the hotel. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to report and monitor waste data from hotels quickly using the Waste Data Reporting and Monitoring System. The purpose of this research is to help hotels, especially in Badung district, in providing waste reporting quickly. In making this system, the design concept goes through the stages of data collection, Cross Functional Flowchart, Context Diagram, Level 0 Data Flow Diagram, Entity Relationship Diagram, Conceptual Database and Interface Design. And then implement it with Hypertext Preprocessor Programming (PHP), Bootstrap Framework, MySQL.
