Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 menyebabkan adanya keterbatasan penderita Diabetes Melitus (DM) dalam mengakses pelayanan kesehatan di Indonesia. Peningkatan angka kejadian DM pada masa pandemi COVID-19 terjadi di Kabupaten Buleleng khususnya Puskesmas Buleleng I. Pemerintah menganjurkan untuk memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dalam manajemen mandiri penderita DM. Kemampuan akses teknologi dan informasi kesehatan dalam manajemen mandiri DM dapat ditinjau dari tingkat digital health literacy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat digital health literacy pada penderita DM di Puskesmas Buleleng I pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan survei. Responden penelitian sebanyak 67 orang didapatkan melalui teknik consecutive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat digital health literacy rendah (50,7%). Digital health literacy rendah disertai dengan karakteristik responden meliputi usia rentang 57-66 tahun (32,8%), berjenis kelamin laki-laki (31,3%), lama menderita DM selama 1-5 tahun (41,4%), dan berpendapatan <UMK (47,8%).

Abstract

AbstractSleep quality is a complex phenomenon that is difficult to measure objectively in individuals. Nursing students become one of the groups that are susceptible to decreased sleep quality. This is due to the many demands that students must do in their daily lives. Nowadays, changes in students lifestyles that lead to the use of massive technology, such as smartphones can have an impact on the quality of sleep. Indirectly, the convenience provided by smartphones gives an addiction effect to users. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences between quality of sleep in nursing students at Medical Faculty, Udayana University based on the level of smartphone addiction. This research is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach. The sample size was 123 students obtained from the use of sampling techniques of proportionate stratified random sampling. The results of this study indicate that as many as 51.2% of students are at a high smartphone addiction level. Also, 84.6% of students have poor sleep quality. The Mann Whitney statistical test results obtained p-value 0.01 <0.05, which means that there is a significant difference between the quality of sleep in nursing students at Faculty of Medicine Udayana University based on the level of smartphone addiction. This tudy suggest that students will be able to be wiser and more self-controlled in smartphone use on their daily lives to minimize the impact of smartphone addiction. Abstract

Adolescence are changes both physically and psychologically. The occurrence of physical changes characterized by changes in reproductive functions and systems causes sexual motivation that makes adolescents vulnerable to diseases and reproductive health problems. Adolescents are expected to have good reproductive health knowledge to avoid various reproductive health problems. Knowledge of reproductive health is influenced by several factors, such as parenting styles. Parents have a big role in providing supervision and nurturing of teenagers in a family environment. This study aims to determine the relations between parenting styles and adolescent reproductive health knowledge. This research was conducted on April - May 2019. This research was cross sectional approach. Respondents numbered are 198 adolescents, obtained through proportional random sampling techniques. Parenting styles and health reproduction knowledge were measured using a questionnaire which has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis using chi-square test. The results showed there is a relationship between parenting styles and adolescent reproductive health knowledge (p <0.05). The parenting styles are necessary in providing about reproductive health knowledge to provide information by providing correct information from reliable sources.

Abstract

Whitewater rafting is a high-risk adventure tourism sport and frequently causes traumatic injuries due to a lack of safety culture implementation. The research aims to know the safety culture in first aid of wound injuries among guide in Ayung River. This was a descriptive study with a quantitative and cross-sectional approach enrolling 140 participants that selected by proportional random sampling technique with inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data was analysed using univariate analysis with frequency distribution. Based on five characteristics of safety culture, the majority of whitewater rafting guide had a good level of value in four categories. Safety culture in whitewater rafting well implemented by guide in Ayung River.

Abstract

Dampak pandemi Covid-19 terhadap pendidikan menyebabkan proses pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara daring. Pembelajaran daring dilakukan oleh seluruh mahasiswa di berbagai instansi pendidikan termasuk mahasiswa keperawatan. Mahasiswa yang menjalani pembelajaran daring dapat menghabiskan waktu selama berjam-jam di depan laptop, komputer, atau gadget sehingga berisiko mengalami masalah kesehatan mata seperti Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan CVS berdasarkan screen time dalam pembelajaran daring pada mahasiswa keperawatan Udayana. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif komparatif dengan pengukuran berulang sebanyak tiga kali pada variabel CVS. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner screen time dan keluhan CVS dengan pengukuran selama dua minggu. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 161 mahasiswa keperawatan yang dipilih dengan metode stratified random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan secara bermakna CVS hari pada ke-1, ke-5, dan ke-10 dengan p = 0,000. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini ada perbedaan secara bermakna CVS pada hari ke-1, ke-5, dan ke-10 dimana terjadi peningkatan skor pada CVS hari ke-1, ke-5, dan ke-10.

Abstract

The academic education process faced by nursing students is a source of considerable stressors to trigger academic stress. Academic stress would affect the way they deal with the stressors that called coping mechanism response. This study was correlative research with cross sectional approach. This study consisted of 57 respondents obtained by total sampling technique. The data collection was used academic stress questionnaire and ways of coping questionnaire to identified respondent characteristics, academic stress and coping mechanism. This study showed there was a significant correlation between academic stress with the coping mechanism (p <0.05; r= 0.517). The correlation was negative and had a medium strength, which means when the academic stress gets higher, the coping mechanism gets lower. This study is expected to be an evaluation for students, education institutions, and nurses as health workers. Actions to reduce academic stress and improve adaptive coping mechanism also expected could be carried out.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pendahuluan: Hemodialisis merupakan terapi utama bagi pasien gagal ginjal kronis. Pada pasien hemodialisis, hipervolemia adalah keluhan utama yang dilaporkan. Hal ini dapat berkaitan dengan ketidakpatuhan pasien terhadap manajemen cairan dan ketidakmampuan dalam mengontrol rasa haus. Rasa haus berlebih dan xerostomia memicu pasien untuk meningkatkan asupan cairannya. Akibatnya, terjadi peningkatan Interdialytic Weight Gain (IDWG). IDWG yang berlebih dapat meningkatkan risiko komplikasi seperti penyakit kardiovaskuler, hospitalisasi dan penurunan kualitas hidup. Tujuan : melakukan kajian literatur mengenai penggunaan permen karet bebas gula (xylitol) dalam mengontrol rasa haus berlebih yang dirasakan oleh pasien hemodialysis Metode : Studi literature dengan artikel diperoleh melalui Google Scholar dan PubMed. Kata kunci yaitu sugar free chewing gum, thirst, hemodialysis, dan interdialytic weight gain serta menggunakan Boolean “OR” dan “AND”. Kriteria artikel adalah artikel yang menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris, diterbitkan dalam periode 5 tahun terakhir (2020-2024). Hasil : Hasil studi literatur menunjukkan dari 41 artikel yang ditemukan, terdapat 5 artikel yang sesuai dengan kriteria yang ditetapkan. Kesimpulan : Mengunyah permen karet bebas gula (xylitol) dapat diterapkan sebagai intervensi alternatif untuk mengontrol rasa haus pasien hemodialisis dan mencegah perburukkan kondisi hypervolemia. Saran : Mengunyah permen karet dapat menjadi strategi untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan pasien hemodialisis terhadap pengontrolan minum harian.
