Abstract

The world of education today is very dependent on technological advances. The use of these technologies can be utilized as a medium of information. Especially in education at the high school level, the use of technology is necessary to facilitate students. One of the high schools that has used technological advances, especially in information media, is the State Vocational High School (SMKN) 1 Cibatu. The Graduation Information System is an information medium that is currently used by SMKN 1 Cibatu which is already online-based so that information media can be accessed anytime anywhere. However, at this time the developer or school wants to know whether the use of the Graduation Information System is correct or has not been used by its users, an analysis is needed with the aim that later it can be used as a reference for system developers or the school itself in improving/developing information media. so that the media information is made in accordance with the expectations desired by the user. This study uses the PIECES framework analysis method, which is an approach to determine user satisfaction so that maintenance or sustainable development can be carried out later. The output in this study is the result of an analysis of user satisfaction which will later be used as a reference by the developer or the school to develop an even better system.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the design skills of local Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Cadassari Village, Purwakarta Regency, through the use of digital design software, particularly Canva and CorelDRAW. Initial needs assessment revealed that most MSME actors in the area face challenges in creating product visual identities, including logos, packaging, and promotional media. Using a participatory approach and the Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) method, the training program was collaboratively designed and implemented in several stages, including planning, technical training, mentoring, evaluation, and a final showcase. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ ability to apply design tools for their business needs, along with the emergence of collaborative learning initiatives among participants. This training program contributes to the digital empowerment of local MSMEs and serves as a replicable model for creative economy development based on community engagement.

Abstract

This study proposes the design and implementation of a smart hospital corridor gate prototype utilizing the ESP8266 microcontroller and Internet of Things (IoT) technology to enhance access control and visitor monitoring. With increasing foot traffic in hospitals, effective access management is crucial to prevent unauthorized entry, ensure safety, and maintain operational efficiency. The proposed system uses the ESP8266 as the main controller, enabling real-time monitoring and data transmission over a wireless network. The system integrates Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to automate the identification process. Visitors are required to carry RFID cards or tags, which are scanned upon entry via an RFID reader installed at the gate. The captured data is then transmitted to a centralized server for real-time monitoring and storage, allowing hospital staff to efficiently track visitor activity. Additionally, to support health screening, the system incorporates a temperature sensor for automatic detection of body temperature and a motion-based servo sensor to detect visitor presence and movement in restricted areas. These sensor readings are also transmitted to the server and displayed through an integrated dashboard interface, providing clear and accessible information to hospital staff. Experimental results demonstrate that the system effectively accelerates visitor data acquisition, enhances surveillance, and supports early detection of health conditions. The integration of IoT and sensor-based automation enables hospitals to implement a more secure and responsive access control mechanism. This prototype holds significant potential for further development in building intelligent healthcare infrastructure and can be adapted for broader applications in environments that require stringent monitoring protocols.
