Abstract

Implementation of data mining, machine learning, and statistical data from educational department commonly known as educational data mining. Most of school systems require a teacher to teach a number of students at one time. Exam are regularly being use as a method to measure student’s achievement, which is difficult to understand because examination cannot be done easily. The other hand, programming classes makes source code editing and UNIX commands able to easily detect and store automatically as log-data. Hence, rather that estimating the performance of those student based on this log-data, this study being more focused on detecting them who experienced a difficulty or unable to take programming classes. We propose CLG clustering methods that can predict a risk of being dropped out from school using cluster data for outlier detection.

Abstract

Pembangunan PLTH di Indonesia membutuhkan perencanaan dan perhitungan yang tepat sehingga diharapkan dapat membangun pembangkit listrik hibrid menggunakan energi terbarukan yang sesuai seperti yang diharapkan. Salah satu hal yang perlu diperhatikan dalam proses pembangunan pembangkit listrik adalah keadaan topografi suatu wilayah, misalnya kecepatan angin dan intensitas penyinaran matahari. Lokasi yang dipilih pada penelitian ini adalah Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta. Salah satu alasannya karena kondisi alam di daerah tersebut sangat berpotensi menghasilkan energi, terutama energi panas matahari dan energi tenaga angin. Setelah ditemukan lokasi yang tepat untuk penerapan PLTH, dilakukan analisis beban dan energi yang dihasilkan oleh sistem pembangkit. Analisis tersebut disimulasikan menggunakan software HOMER yang outputnya berupa analisis kelistrikan, arus keuangan (cash flow), emisi serta kelayakan investasi. Energi yang dihasilkan pembangkit digunakan untuk distribusi air, kelistrikan rumah tangga serta penerangan jalan. Total beban yang harus dipenuhi yaitu sebesar 157,36 kWh dalam sehari pemakaian atau 4.720,86 kWH dalam sebulan. Dari hasil simulasi HOMER, pembangkit listrik yang direkomendasikan yaitu 40 kW PV, 5 kincir angin 50 kW, 240 buah baterai 12 VDC serta inverter 400 kW. Dari kedua pembangkit listrik tersebut dihasilkan energi sebesar 77.494 kWh/tahun yang didapat dari PV yang menghasilkan energi sebesar 56.570 kWh/tahun dan tenaga angin yang menghasilkan 20.924 kWh/tahun. Dari output sebesar itu, diperoleh harga per-kWh energi  sebesar $0,152/kWh. Sistem pembangkit akan mencapai BEP pada tahun ke-14 setelah sistem berjalan dan setelah tahun ke-15, keuntungan pertahunnya sebesar Rp. 73.645.416.  .

Abstract

Penelitian studi tentang Metamaterials (MTMs) dalam beberapa tahun terakhir telah meningkat sangat pesat. Metamaterials yang di sebut juga artificial material atau  Left Handed (LH) material adalah material yang tidak ada dialam dimana strukturnya direkayasa oleh manusia yang memiliki dua atau lebih properties yang khusus, misalkan pada Double Negative (DNG) material yang memiliki μ negative dan  ε negative. Beberapa pendekatan dalam mendesign metamaterial yaitu pendekatan resonant dan pendekatan Transmission line. Model transmision line yang pertama adalah Right Handed Transmission lines (RH TL) yang dimodelkan dalam sebuah unit sel sebagai rangkaian dan shunt kapasitor shunt(CR), yang kedua adalah Left Handed Transmission Line (LH TL) dimodelkan dalam sebuah unit sel sebagai rangkaian kapasitor seri(CL) dan induktansi shunt(LL). gabungan dari dua buah model transmission line ini disebut Composite Right-left Handed Transmission Line(CRLH TL)  dan ini menjadi dasar dalam mendesign metamaterial. CRLH transmission line dimodelkan dalam sebuah unit sel sebagai rangkaian kapasitor seri(CL), induktansi seri(LR) dan induktansi shunt (LL) serta induktansi shunt(LL). CRLH TL memiliki negatif, nol dankonstanta propagasi positif sesuai dengan karakteristik dari permitivitas efektif dan permeabilitas[1]. Hasil pengukuran bandpass filter menggunakan saluran transmisi CRLH satu sel menunjukkan frekuensi cutoff pada -10dB terletak pada frekuensi 3.016 GHz pada highpass filter dan 5.359GHz pada lowpass filternya. Sedangkan frekuensi 3.4 GHz terletak pada -4.8415 dB sedangkan frekuensi 4.8 Ghz terletak pada -4.753 dB. Hasil dari perancangan menunjukkan bahwa saluran transmisi CRLH satu sel dapat memenuhi spesifikasi yang diminta.

Abstract

Chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum Sp) is sensitive to temperature and humidity. The greenhouse is an appropriate planting medium since temperature and humidity can be engineered there. This article presents the design of systems using DHT-22 and SEN0057 sensors. Real Time Clock (RTC) is used for providing timing input and functions as an extra light intensity timer. Arduino Mega 2560 is used as a microcontroller functioning to receive the results of sensor measurement and to give output instructions to condition the temperature and humidity. The testing on chrysanthemum Sp placed inside the greenhouse equipped with the system for 7 days shows an increase of height of 3.7 cm. As for chrysanthemum Sp placed outside the greenhouse equipped with the system for 7 days, there is an increase of height of 0, 2 cm. These greenhouse light control and Watering systems can engineer the temperature and humidity in accordance with the needs of chrysanthemum Sp cultivation in the greenhouse.

Abstract

Saat ini pemerintah sedang menggencarkan penggunaan energi terbarukan untuk mengurangi penggunaan energi fosil, salah satunya yaitu pemanfaatan energi surya sebagai pemasok listrik cadangan. Perkembangan PLTS di Indonesia kian waktu kian meningkat, hal ini dikarenakan Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara tropis yang memiliki potensi rata-rata energi surya yang cukup tinggi, yaitu sebesar 4,8 kWh/m2/hari. Penelitian ini merancang sebuah sistem PLTS on-grid pada atap Masjid Jami’ Al-Muhajirin menggunakan software PVSyst untuk mengetahui potensi, kelayakan dari segi ketenagalistrikan dan kelayakan dari aspek ekonomi. Sistem PLTS dengan kapasitas sebesar 8,2 kWp di atap Masjid Jami’ Al-Muhajirin menggunakan 4 variasi rancangan sistem PLTS. Variasi 1 menggunakan panel Polycrystalline 150 Wp. Variasi 2 menggunakan panel Polycrystalline 250 Wp. Variasi 3 menggunakan panel surya Monocrystalline 150 Wp. Variasi 4 menggunakan panel surya Monocystalline 250 Wp. Berdasarkan hasil rancangan dan simulasi menggunakan software PVSyst, yang paling layak diimplementasikan adalah sistem PLTS variasi 2 dengan produksi energi sebesar 12,31 MWh/tahun dan performance ratio sebesar 81,93%. Hasil analisis kelayakan investasi berdasarkan sudut pandang ekonomi dari keempat variasi menunjukan bahwa investasi yang paling layak untuk diimplementasikan yaitu sistem PLTS variasi 1 karena memiliki nilai NPV yang paling besar dan waktu pengembalian dana investasi awal yang paling cepat.

Abstract

Tujuan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) Mahasiswa ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman kepada anggota Yayasan Komunitas Maestro2012 yang beralamat di Komplek Permata Pamulang,  Ruko Blok I-2 No. 13 RT 001/ RW 03 Kelurahan Bakti Jaya, Kecamatan Setu, Kota Tangerang Selatan. Adapun  Metode kegiatan ini adalah mendatangi Yayasan tersebut dan memberikan pelatihan dan diskusi mengenai kemandirian adalah salah satu kunci sukses berkarya. Hasil dari kegiatan tersebut adalah  para peserta menjadi lebih mengerti makna kemandirian adalah salah satu kunci sukses berkarya. Yayasan Komunitas Maestro 2012 adalah salah satu bentuk kegiatan mandiri dalam berkarya dalam masyarakat. Ke depan diharapkan Komunitas ini akan lebih meningkatkan dalam pengelolaan usaha koperasi agar dapat memberikan  kesejahteraan bagi anggotanya dan masyarakat. Kata Kunci :  Kemandirian; Berkarya

Abstract

Hanacaraka Javanese script is a valuable Indonesian cultural heritage, but its use has declined due to a lack of knowledge and ability to read and write the script. The main challenge in detecting and recognizing handwritten Javanese script is the variation of its shape and writing style. This research aims to train computers to recognize Javanese script. Prior to this research, there have been several similar studies with different recognition methods. In this research, the Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) method is used. The process of detection and recognition of Javanese script letters is divided into three parts: input image of script images used as a dataset of 500 images for training data and 8 pictures for prediction test data, the process of creating a Recurrent Neural Network model, and the output of this design is the performance of the Recurrent Neural Network model. The test results show that the model has an overall accuracy of 96%, with an average precision, recall, and F1 score of 96% each. Sentences such as "Dhahara", "Jawanagara", "Malaca", and "Ramayana" were successfully detected completely correctly, although some sentences such as "Jayabaya", "Nyala", and "Palawa" experienced prediction errors.

Abstract

Empowering the community is an endeavor to prepare society for achieving progress, independence, and well-being within a sustainable social justice environment. Effective community empowerment must be tailored to the specific conditions of the target. Correspondingly, the objective of this program was to construct and empower an educational ecotourism village by implementing a hybrid method combining Sisdamas (Community Empowerment System) and Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD). This hybrid approach was expected to facilitate the identification of existing community assets and enhance synergy among stakeholders in creating an educational ecotourism village. Moreover, integrating these two methods could result in an effective, efficient, and sustainable coaching process. Cigugurgirang village possesses several assets that can be developed into an agricultural educational tourism area, including orange gardens, grape vineyards, and ornamental plant areas. They serve as the initial foundation for asset identification. The evaluation of the coaching process incorporated the Social Return on Investment (SROI) framework analysis, yielding a value of 10.16:1. Thus, every investment of 1 million rupiahs would generate a social value of 10.16 million rupiahs. In summary, the present community empowerment program had a multi-faceted impact, encompassing economic, educational, and social benefits. Its primary focus was establishing a sustainable and socially just environment, utilizing a combination of methods to maximize effectiveness. Furthermore, SROI analysis underscored the significant social value generated by the program's investments.

Abstract

Cisauheun is a beautiful environment where the majority of the population works as farmers. The vast agricultural area and fertile soil make many farmers use their land to grow rice, but in Cisauheun cultivation to grow vegetables is still low, this is due to low knowledge and skills in cultivating vegetables. Therefore, community empowerment this time is one of the focuses with the implementation of an empowerment program through vegetable cultivation training in the Cisauheun environment. The method used in this activity is in the form of planting training with the help of organic fertilizer. We aim to improve the knowledge and skills of the cisauheun community in cultivating vegetables well while helping to provide opportunities for the community to make the vegetables they grow as additional income for their families. In the process of implementing the training as well as direct practice, the training on vegetable cultivation went smoothly and there were not many obstacles. The results we got from the cultivation of these vegetables were the planting of seeds of garlic, shallots, sausin, kale and chilies in an empty land called "greeunhose cisauheun" . The vegetable plants will later be maintained by a group of housewives who collaborate with mosque youth.

Abstract

In the food sector, rice processing and classification are essential operations that help maintain strict quality and safety standards, satisfy various consumer preferences, and satisfy particular market demands. Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning techniques are used in automated systems to reliably and effectively classify rice quality. This research compares a rice quality classification system using a convolutional neural network (CNN) and an adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS). Both methods are evaluated for their ability to classify rice based on quality, utilizing a dataset encompassing various physical characteristics. The comparative analysis results reveal the strengths and weaknesses of each approach in addressing this classification task. In this research, two classification systems for different varieties of rice-medium and premium—are compared. CNN and ANFIS are the techniques applied. The CNN accuracy on the rice picture is 62.5%. Thus, a contrast enhancement procedure was applied and had better accuracy at 75%. However, when contrasted with the classification made using the ANFIS approach, the ANFIS method continued to yield the best accuracy, 82.25%.
