Abstract

Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Bidang Penerapan IPTEKS akan dilaksanakan di Dusun Muntigunung Desa Tianyar Barat, Kecamatan Kubu. Desa Tianyar Barat merupakan salah satu desa prioritas pengembangan desa wisata di Kabupaten Karangasem sebagai salah satu langkah mengganti image sebagai Desa sumner dari para Gelandangan dan Pengemis (Gepeng) di Bali. Pengembangan desa wisata tersebut dapat terwujud dengan melakukan inventarisasi potensi desa melalui pemetaan partisipatif secara digital, mengingat keterbatasan informasi profil desa yang ada saat ini di Desa Tianyar Barat. Tujuan dan target khusus yang ingin dicapai dalam P2M ini adalah: (1) meningkatkan pengetahuan para pamong desa tentang peta dan penggunaannya untuk inventarisasi informasi potensi desa; (2) memberikan keterampilan kepada para pamong desa dalam pembuatan peta potensi desa secara digital; dan (3) menghasilkan produk berupa peta partisipatif potensi desa sesuai kaidah kartografis baik dalam bentuk permanent map maupun digital map. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, digunakan pendekatan pemberdayaan dengan menerapkan prinsip partisipati penuh kelompok sasaran. Metode pemberdayaan yang diterapkan bersifat variatif, yaitu: metode brainstorming, workshop, kerja praktek lapangan (tracking field), bimbingan penugasan dan tanya jawab berbasis modul, dan pelatihan.

Abstract

This Community service aims to develop a spatial thinking skills of geography teacher in the province of Bali that are designed in the form of education and training. Participants were 50 geography teachers in nine districts / cities in the province of Bali. Education and training was provided with discourse, discussion and workshop methods. An understanding of the spatial thinking skills of teachers was evaluated using a test, while for RPP it was produced using an observation sheet (APKCG modification), as well as a questionnaire to measure the usefulness of education and training. The results of the evaluation of education and training conducted indicate that: (1) The average value of Spatial Thinking Skills for senior high school Geography teachers in Bali Province is categorized very high (85.93). The implementation of the high competency spatial thinking skills is also reflected in the well-categorized of RPP (4.75); and (2) education and training to develop of Spatial Thinking skills for senior high school Geography teachers in Bali Province is considered to have a very high useful value (4.98), especially as a vehicle for the formation of spatial insights of students.

Abstract

Environmental conservation in the context of global warming and Indonesia's geology located in the Pacific Ring of Fire area is the basis used to launch the Environmentally Insight School and Disaster Mitigation Program (SWALIBA) in Indonesia as a form of character education, especially in schools located in vulnerable areas. disaster. This program aims to create a young generation with character of love and care for the environment and understand how to respond to disasters. The Undiksha Laboratory School is geologically located in the Seririt Fault area which is very unstable so it is prone to earthquakes and tsunamis. In this regard, Community Service (PkM) is carried out with one of the activities being to provide SWALIBA insight to the residents of the Undiksha Laboratory School (Managers, Directors, Teachers, and Employees). Providing insight using the Education method with three stages (providing material, discussion, and evaluation) which is carried out online through webinars. The results of the service carried out showed that the SWALIBA insight of the Undiksha Laboratory School residents was classified as 'good' (Mean = 74.73). As a first step to developing the SWALIBA Program at the Undiksha Laboratory School, this good insight is needed, because it will be able to contribute to the development of the program to be designed.

Abstract

Abstract

Desa Temukus Kecamatan Banjar merupakan desa pesisir yang mengembangkan wilayah pesisir dengan salah satu programnya adalah budidaya terumbu karang. Namun, menemui kesulitan untuk memetakan kedalaman laut sebagai salah satu syarat budidaya terumbu karang. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini membuat Peta Batimetri wilayah pesisir Desa Temukus secara partisipatif. Masyarakat yang dilibatkan adalah kelompok nelayan, kelompok masyarakat pengawas dan kelompok sadar wisata Desa Temukus. Pendekatan partisipatif kepada kelompok masyarakat sasaran. Metode pemberdayaan masyarakat yaitu dengan metode diskusi, praktek kerja lapangan, dan pelatihan serta pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusias dan keaktifan dari kelompok sasaran. Menggunakan GPS dan Aquamaps dalam proses pemetaan kedalaman laut. Peta kedalaman laut (Peta Batrimetri) Desa Temukus sebagai dasar pembuatan zona konservasi wilayah pesisir. Konservasi wilayah pesisir dengan menentukan zona untuk pengembangan ekosistem terumbu karang. Pemetaan kedalam laut sebagai salah satu syarat hidup dari terumbu karang. Melibatkan kelompok nelayan, masyarakat pengawas, dan kelompok sadar wisata dalam tahap pembibitan, penanaman, pemeliharaan, pengawasan zona terumbu karang secara sistematis. Keberlanjutan kegiatan sangat memungkinkan karena pemahaman pentingnya menjaga terumbu karang sudah disadari dalam menjaga ekosistem laut terutama perikanan dan pariwisata.
