Abstract

Extension of the cox proportional hazards model for time dependent variables is an alternative method used if the PH assumption is not satisfied for one or more of the predictors in the model. The step of this method are testing the PH assumption, interacting the time independent variable not satisfying the PH assumption with function of time (linear, logarithm and the combination), testing the parameters using the Likelihood Ratio test and the Wald test, determine the better model of both models by the AIC values, calculating the hazard ratio of each variable that significantly affected ASD. Based on the smallest AIC values, a better model is the extension of the cox proportional hazards model for time dependent variables interacted with logarithm time function. From the better model obtained the variables that affect the recurrence time ASD is patient with heart beat, noisy heart, blood pressure, body mass index, and treatment with catheter.

Abstract

This article discusses the evaluation of the use of information systems in business processes within companies, focusing on how information technology can enhance operational efficiency and decision-making. The research employs a qualitative approach involving in-depth interviews and document analysis from several companies that have implemented information systems. The findings indicate that the appropriate use of information systems can accelerate workflows, reduce human errors, and increase data transparency. However, challenges such as resistance to change and lack of training were also identified as hindering factors. The article concludes that to maximize the benefits of information systems, companies need to conduct regular evaluations and provide adequate support for employees. These findings are expected to offer insights for managers and stakeholders in formulating more effective information system implementation strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of parents in creating a positive environment for high-achieving deaf students in inclusive sixth-grade classrooms. A descriptive qualitative method was used, with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results show that parents play a central role in providing emotional support, motivation, and facilitating effective communication, enabling deaf children to optimally develop their academic and social potential. Furthermore, collaboration between parents and teachers in inclusive schools is also a crucial factor in fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. The study also reveals various challenges faced by parents, such as limited resources and social stigma, as well as the strategies they use to overcome these obstacles. These findings provide a comprehensive picture of the importance of empowering parents as key partners in inclusive education. This research is expected to serve as a foundation for the development of policies and programs that support the success of deaf students in inclusive schools.
