Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Tujuan penelitian untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyusun bahan ajar Bioenergi dengan menerapkan model science integrated. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Sesuai hasil penelitian yang telah diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan; penerapkan Model Science Integrated dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mengeksplorasi sumber belajar di masyarakat dan mampu menyampaikan kejadian-kejadian di masyarakat, setelah melakukan eksplorasi dari berbagai sumber belajar. Sebagian besar mendapatkan nilai A dan AB, tidak ada mahasiswa yang mendapatkan nilai di bawah B dan mahasiswa merespon baik, pembelajaran Bioenergi menerapkan Model Science Integrated. Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ The aim of research was to improve students' ability in compiling teaching materials of Bioenergy by applying the model of integrated science. Research using action research methods class. According to the results of research that has been obtained, it can be concluded; Integrated Science appied in order to improve the ability of students to explore learning resources in the community was able to convey the events in the community, after exploration of a variety of learning resources. Most get an A and AB, no students who score below B and the students responded well.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________Proses pembelajaran IPA tidak hanya belajar bagaimana mengingat materi, tetapi juga menguasai keterampilan proses sains dan mengaplikasikannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menggunakan modul cahaya berbasis salingtemas yang dalam pembelajarannya memadukan tema cahaya dengan sains, lingkungan, teknologi dan masyarakat (salingtemas) untuk meningkatkan Keterampilan Proses Sains siswa. Dengan menerapkan pendekatan Salingtemas dalam pembelajaran, siswa dapat memahami penerapan sifat-sifat cahaya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan modul cahaya berbasis salingtemas terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan jenis penelitian quasi experimental design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 7 Magelang dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas VIII. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan modul cahaya berbasis Salingtemas efektif terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa dengan hasil thitung 7,813 lebih besar dari ttabel 1,67. Dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas atau melampaui KKM pada kelas eksperimen sebanyak 28 siswa dan pada kelas kontrol sebanyak 5 siswa.  Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ Science learning process does not only consist l how to remember the material, but also master the science process skills and apply them in daily life. This research used a module with topic of Light based science, environment, technology and society (SETS) to integrate the theme of Light with SETS approach to improve Science Process Skills (SPS) of students. By applying SETS approach in learning process, students can understand the application of the characteristics of light in everyday life. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of module to students’ science process skills. It was an experimental study with quasi-experimental research design. This research was conducted at SMP 7 Magelang with eighth grade students as research subject. The result showed that the use of modules is effective to improve students’ science process skills where tcount 7.813 is greater than ttable 1.67. Students who pass KKM score in experiment group were 28 students and in control group were 5 students.

Abstract

Abstrak ____________________________________________________________________ Telah dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model active learning berbantuan media flash terhadap pemahaman konsep dan aktivitas belajar siswa pada tema kalor dan perpindahannya. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu quasi experiment dengan desain non-equivalent control group design. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII C (kelas eksperimen) dan VII A (kelas kontrol) SMPN 1 Ungaran. Data diambil dengan metode tes (pemahaman konsep) dan observasi (aktivitas belajar siswa).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pemahaman konsep (posttest) kelas eksperimen (87,22) lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol (75,83). Besarnya rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa kelas eksperimen (83,90) juga lebih besar daripada kelas kontrol (76,28). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan model active learning berbantuan media flash pada tema kalor dan perpindahannya berpengaruh positif terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa sebesar 54,06 % dengan nilai koefisen korelasi sebesar 0,74 (kategori kuat) dan berpengaruh positif terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa sebesar 85,54 % dengan nilai koefisen korelasi sebesar 0,92 (kategori sangat kuat). Abstract Studies have been conducted to determine the effect of active learning model of flash media aided the understanding of concepts and learning activities of students on the theme of heat and displacement. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with non-equivalent control group design. The sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. The sample in this research is class VII C (experimental class) and VII A (control group) SMPN 1 Ungaran. Data taken with test method (understanding of the concept) and observation (student activity). The results showed that the average understanding of the concept (posttest) experimental class (87.22) higher than the control class (75.83). The average size of an experimental class student' learning activities (83.90) is also greater than the control class (76.28). Based on the research-aided model of active learning flash media on the theme of heat and displacement positive effect on students 'understanding of the concept of 54.06% with a correlation coefficient of 0.74 (strong category) and a positive effect on students' learning activities amounted to 85.54 % by value of the correlation coefficient of 0.92 (very strong category).

Abstract

Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ Based on observations and interviews in SMP N 1 Sumber obtained information that scientific attitude of students is still low. Another obstacle that teacher don’t take advantage of school environment as source of learning. This can to cause the student’s learning results are low. The various constraints experienced in science learning can be addressed by applying the model of learning and source of learning, it is exploiting of school environment as source of learning with learning model Problem Based Learning. This study aimed to determine the influence of the exploiting of school environment as source of learning with learning model Problem Based Learning towards student’s cognitive learning results and scientific attitude of student.The study design was quasi experimental design of nonequivalent control group design. The sample was taken by using purposive sampling technique which is resulted in class VII B as experimental class and class VII A as control class. The data consists of the posttest value and the observation of scientific attitude of student by observer. The result of this study showed that average of posttest value experiment class is 79.34 and control class is 69.76. The resulted of biserial correlation analysis is 0.663 and coefficient of determination is 44%. Therefore, the exploiting of school environment as source of learning by Problem Based Learning model on cognitive learning was resulted with the strong category. Based on the observation, the resulted of spearman correlation analysis is 0,684 and the resulted of coefficient of determination is 47%.Therefore, the exploiting of school environment as source of learning with learning model Problem Based Learning effect on scientific attitude of student with the strong category.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to know the effectiveness of media cards (Card Sort)-based experiments to improve students’ critical thinking skills. The design of this research is the control group pretest posttest design. Samples taken in pusposive sampling and obtained Class VII F as a Class VII and class B experiments as a control class. This research data is the data value of the posttest and observation data of critical thinking skills of students. The results of this study indicate that the average value of experimental class posttest is 79.18 66.25 control and class. The t-test analysis results 4.62 whereas t table 1.67. Based on observation, analysis results the average rating on the class control at each meeting of 36% (not critical), 53% (quite critical), 66% (critical) while the average in class experiments at each meeting is 52% (quite critical), 69% (critical).

Abstract

The science learning process is not only learn how to remember the materials, but also capable in science process skill and apply knowledge in scientific work. Through science process skill in learning science, the study is no longer focused on the end result, but also on the process. Project activity is one of learning activities which is appropriate to develop science process skill, through a project students can be actively involved in learning and able to understand the concepts. Project activites can be fasilitated by teaching material in the form of worksheets because its more practical in its use. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of project based learning worksheet on pollution in enhancing science process skills and understanding of the concept of students. This study was an experimental with the type of quasi-experimental research design. The experiment was conducted in Junior High School 7 Magelang with research subjects students of grade VII. The results showed the average percentage of science process skills students experimental class was 91% with good criteria once the fourth meeting, with the average percentage the first meeting was 39% with a sufficient criteria. Class control has an average percentage of science process skills of students is 45% with not good criteria on the fourth meeting, with the average percentage the first meeting is 36%. Understanding the concept of experimental class students have increase in average the value of N-gain of 0.46. As well as the experimental class has an average value of understanding the concept of a higher grade than the control based on the calculation of the t test with tcount≥ttable (4.80≥1.67). Thus, project based learning worksheet on pollution effectively used to improve the understanding of the concept and science process skills of students.
