Abstract

Penggunaan tes prestasi belajar sebagai alat utama untuk menentukan tercapai atau tidaknya tujuan pembelajaran kurang sesuai diterapkan dalam pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Kurikulum 2013 menganjurkan penggunaan asesmen autentik dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan asesmen autentik berbasis proyek pada tema panas, mengetahui kualitas serta hasil belajar siswa yang diukur menggunakan asesmen autentik. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development (R&D). Data yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini berupa hasil validasi pakar, tanggapan siswa dan guru, serta hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian berupa asesmen autentik berbasis proyek yang dikembangkan berdasarkan konsep five dimensional framework for authentic assessment. Asesmen autentik berbasis proyek yang dikembangkan mendapat kriteria sangat baik dari pakar bahasa, materi dan evaluasi. Koefisien reliabilitas yang diperoleh dalam uji skala besar untuk instrumen penilaian diri, penilaian teman, penilaian proyek, penilaian sikap, dan tes pilihan ganda adalah 0,855; 0,561; 0,870; 0,697; dan 0,601. Penilaian hasil belajar menggunakan asesmen autentik berbasis proyek berupa semua siswa menunjukkan kompetensi sikap yang ingin diukur, sebanyak 83,67% siswa telah tuntas pada kompetensi kognitif, dan semua siswa tuntas pada kompetensi psikomotorik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, asesmen autentik berbasis proyek yang dikembangkan berdasarkan five dimensional framework for authentic assessment layak digunakan pada tema panas kelas VII SMP dan dapat mengukur kompetensi afektif, kognitif dan psikomotorik siswa.An achievement test used as main tool, for deciding whether or not learning purposes are complete, is not well-suited on project-based learning. Curriculum 2013 encourage for using authentic assessment in learning process. The purposes of this study are to develop authentic assessment based on project, its quality and student’s holistic learning achievement on the theme of heat that measured by it. The research design applied in this research is a Research and Development (R&D). The research data are consist of validity product by experts, students and teachers response, and student’s study result. The result of this research is authentic assessment based on project that are developed by five dimensional framework for authentic assessment. The result showed that authentic assessment based on project have a very good quality in language, content material, and evaluation aspect. Coefficient reliability in large scale phase for self-assessment, peer-assessment, project-assessment, attitude assessment, and multiple choices is 0.855, 0.561, 0.870, 0.697, and 0.601. In implementation phase, all of students show some attitudes, 83.67% of students exceled at cognitive competency, and all of students exceled at skills that are measured. Based on those data, it can be concluded that authentic assessment based on project in the theme of heat that had been developed is well-applied for and capable of measuring afective, cognitive, and psychomotor aspects of 7th grade junior high school.

Abstract

This study intended to examine the effectivity of science uno card-assisted CIRC method on solar system topic to classification and scientific communication skills. This is experimental research whose sample consisted of two classes; one as an experimental group and the other as a control group. The data of students’ classification skills were gathered from posttest score on cognitive learning outcomes arranged based on four indicators. Observations were carried out in three-time learnings to obtain the data of scientific communication. The analysis of t-test of the total score of classification skills resulted in tcount=2.29 and ttable=2.00, meaning that the experimental group’s classification skills were better than the control group. A Mann Whitney differential test of the total score of scientific skills resulted in Zcount=4.83 and Ztable=1.69 meaning that there was a difference of communication skills between the two classes. Based on the research results, it could be said that science uno card-assisted CIRC method on solar system topic was effective in improving classification and scientific communication skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas penggunaan LKS Salingtemas berbasis ScienceEntrepreneurship terhadap keterampilan komunikasi ilmiah dan minat berwirausaha siswa. Jenis penelitianini yaitu quasi experiment dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Sampel diambil dengan tekniksimple random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII E (kelas eksperimen) dan VII C (kelaskontrol) di SMP N 7 Magelang. Data diambil dengan metode tes (hasil belajar kognitif siswa), angket (minatberwirausaha siswa) dan observasi (keterampilan komunikasi ilmiah). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkanbahwa rata-rata keterampilan komunikasi ilmiah siswa kelas eksperimen pada setiap pertemuan mengalamipeningkatan dengan rata-rata peningkatan setiap indikator yaitu 24,58%. Minat berwirausaha kelaseksperimen mengalami peningkatan setiap pertemuan dengan rata-rata peningkatan setiap indikator sebesar19,53%. Hasil uji N-gain minat berwirausaha siswa kelas eksperimen masuk ke dalam kategori sedang yaitu0,469, sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol masuk ke dalam kategori rendah yaitu 0,150. Berdasarkan hasilpenelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKS Salingtemas berbasis Science Entrepreneurship efektif meningkatkanketerampilan komunikasi ilmiah dan minat berwirausaha siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model group investigation berbantuan science chain card tema gerak terhadap kemampuan berpikir logis dan keterampilan berkomunikasi siswa beserta besar pengaruhnya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen menggunakan posttest only group design. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dari populasi siswa kelas VIII SMP 1 Kudus tahun 2016, diperoleh kelas VIII G sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII H sebagai kelas kontrol. Data penelitian ini didapatkan dari nilai posttest hasil belajar kognitif siswa yang disusun berdasarkan lima indikator kemampuan berpikir logis serta nilai keterampilan berkomunikasi yang diperoleh melalui tiga kali observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi berdasarkan posttest kemampuan berpikir logis siswa adalah r = 0,13. Hasil analisis uji t terhadap nilai koefisien korelasi kemampuan berpikir logis memperlihatkan t hitung = 3,00 yang berarti bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan. Besarnya pengaruh ditunjukkan oleh  nilai koefisien determinasi (KD) yang diperoleh sebesar 1,00 %. Hasil analisis observasi keterampilan berkomunikasi siswa menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi yang diperoleh adalah r = 0,75. Hasil analisis uji t terhadap nilai koefisien korelasi keterampilan berkomunikasi memperlihatkan t hitung = 10,8 yang berarti bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan. Besarnya pengaruh ditunjukkan oleh  nilai koefisien determinasi (KD) yang diperoleh sebesar 58,00 %. Hasil analisis penelitian juga menunjukkan besarnya pengaruh keterampilan berkomunikasi siswa terhadap kemampuan berpikir logis selama pembelajaran group investigation berbantuan science chain card adalah sebesar 1,00 %. Dapat disimpulan bahwa group investigation berbantuan science chain card tema gerak berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir logis dan keterampilan berkomunikasi siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektifan modul pop-up berbasis inkuiri terbimbing tema tata surya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang terdiri dari sepuluh langkah dalam pelaksanaannya. Modul yang dikembangkan kemudian divalidasi oleh 3 ahli materi dan 3 ahli media untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian kelayakan modul pop-up berbasis inkuiri terbimbing oleh ahli materi dan media memperoleh skor rata-rata 54 dan 39 dengan kriteria sangat layak. Uji coba skala kecil untuk mengetahui keterbacaan modul mendapatkan rata-rata skor 36,89 dari siswa dan 11,9 dari guru dikategorikan sangat baik. Hasil skor N-gain diperoleh  kriteria sedang sampai tinggi sebesar 93,75% dan siswa mendapatkan nilai posttest ≥75 sebesar 84,4%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul pop-up berbasis inkuiri terbimbing tema tata surya layak dan efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Development of pop-up module with inquiry guided-based in the solar system’s theme for 7th grade students AbstractThis research aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of pop-up module with the inquiry guided based in the solar system’s theme. This research is a development research using research model that cited from Sugiyono (2015) which consists of ten steps in the implementation. Then, the modules which developed were validated by 3 material experts and 3 media experts to determine the feasibility of the product. The results show that the feasibility assessment of pop-up module with inquiry guided based is guided by material and the media experts obtain an average score of 54 and 39 with very reasonable criteria. Small-scale experiment  aims to determine the legibility of the module earned an average score of 36.89 from students and 11.9 from teachers. The classical exhaustiveness obtained is 84,4%, the average og gain normality is 0,55 with medium criterion. Based on the results of the research can be concluded that the pop-up module with inquiry guided-based in the solar system’s theme is feasible and effective use in the learning process.

Abstract

Abstrak. Pembelajaran abad 21 menuntut guru IPA untuk memiliki pengetahuan yang baik dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam pengajaran. Penting bagi para guru IPA memiliki pengetahuan tentang teknologi, yang dikenal dengan kerangka TPACK. TPACK memaparkan pengetahuan yang penting bagi guru di era milenial untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam proses pengajarannya. Untuk memastikan peserta didik mampu mengembangkan, mempraktikkan, dan menerapkan keterampilan abad 21, guru IPA harus menguasai TPACK. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangakan model PBST yang valid dan efektif untuk meningkatkan penguasaan TPACK mahasiswa calon guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Data validasi ahli dianalisis menggunakan Aiken’s V, data kepraktisan dianalisis secara deskriptif, data penguasaan TPACK dianalisis menggunakan independent t-test. Model PBST hasil pengembangan memiliki sintaks Orientation, Exploration, Workshop, Modelling, Peer Review, Evaluation. Model PBST yang dikembangkan telah teruji valid dan praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Model PBST yang dikembangkan juga terbukti dapat meningkatkan penguasaan TPACK calon guru IPA. Abstract. 21st century learning requires science teachers to have good knowledge in integrating technology into teaching. It is important for science teachers to have knowledge of technology, known as the TPACK framework. TPACK describes the knowledge that is important for teachers in the millennial era to integrate technology in their teaching process. To ensure that students are able to develop, practice, and apply 21st century skills, science teachers must master TPACK. The purpose of this study is to develop a valid and effective PBST model to increase pre-service teachers TPACK mastery. This study uses the ADDIE development model. Expert data validation was analysed using Aiken's V, practicality data was analysed descriptively, mastery of TPACK data was analysed using independent t-test. The results of the development of the PBST Model have the syntax of Orientation, Exploration, Workshop, Modelling, Peer Review, Evaluation. The developed PBST model has been tested and practically used in learning. The developed PBST model is also proven to be able to increase the mastery of TPACK for pre-service science teachers.

Abstract

In 21st century learning, it is important for science teachers to have good knowledge in integrating technology into learning which is known as the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework. This study aims to analyze the TPACK of pre-service science teachers. The method used was quantitative research with surveys. The research subjects were students at Science Education Study Program, Universitas Negeri Semarang as pre-service science teachers. The instrument was developed based on the aspects of PK, CK, TK, PCK, TPK, TCK, and TPCK. The results showed that overall the pre-service science teacher TPACK obtained quite good criteria, then if it was categorized the results were 14.75% less good, 70.43% quite good, and 14.75% good. This research can be a reference in the development and improvement of TPACK for future pre-service science teachers.

Abstract

Learning cannot be separated from the existence of learning tools. Learning devices are components that are used as a reference for implementing the learning process. The learning process requires appropriate models and strategies to train students' knowledge and attitudes. This study aims to determine the characteristics and feasibility of guided inquiry learning tools using the socio-scientific issue (SSI) to train critical thinking skills and care for the environment of students. The learning tools developed consist of a syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheets, and evaluation tools for question sheets. The characteristics of the learning tools are (1) containing guided inquiry (2) containing socio-scientific issues (SSI), (3) training critical thinking skills, and (4) training environmental care. The research model used is ADDIE (analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluations) which is modified by using 4 of the 5 stages of ADDIE. The results of the feasibility analysis of the learning device components from the validation results and the teacher/student readability questionnaire obtained very feasible criteria and the evaluation tool of the question sheet was valid. The results obtained indicate that the development of guided inquiry learning tools using the socio-scientific issue (SSI) is feasible to use in the learning process

Abstract

The learning model that can improve students’ critical thinking skills is the Remap Cooperative Script model with the help of Wordwall. This study aims to determine the effect of Remap Cooperative Script assisted by Wordwall on critical thinking skills and to determine student responses from the application of the model. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design. The sample in this study was taken by cluster random sampling technique. The effect of the Wordwall-assisted Remap Cooperative Script model was analyzed using the related t-test. Improvements in critical thinking skills were measured using N-Gain, and measured the results of student response analysis. The influence of Remap Cooperative Script assisted by Wordwall on students’ critical thinking skills as measured by the final related t-test test of 4.12 indicates that there is an influence from the application of the model on students’ critical thinking skills. The increase in students’ critical thinking skills as measured using N-gain in the experimental class was 0.53 while the control class was 0.38. These results indicate that there is a difference in the increase between the experimental class and the control class due to the treatment given. The results of the study were also supported by a very good student response of 82.11%. Based on this, it is concluded that learning using the Remap Cooperative Script model with the help of Wordwall has an effect on increasing students’ critical thinking skills

Abstract

The main concept in education in the 21st century revolution 4.0 is a process or learning with the support of information technology. The 2013 curriculum is designed to develop the 21st century skills of students. One of them is critical thinking skills. Based on government policies issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) Directorate of Higher Education No. 1 of 2020 which states that the learning process is carried out boldly (online). This is because to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic that has occurred throughout the world, none other than Indonesia. The LMS referred to in the research is the development of a website-based Virtual Science Learning or “VISEL” to train critical thinking skills. This study aims to develop an e-learning system called VISEL (Virtual Science Learning) based on a website that can be used to train students' critical thinking skills. The development procedure is carried out with reference to the development of a 4D model. The research data obtained were in the form of product validation score data, questionnaire readability data, and response questionnaire data. The results showed that after going through the product validation process, the material expert obtained an average percentage of 97%% with valid criteria. Product validation by media experts obtained an average percentage of 96% with valid criteria. The average readability questionnaire obtained 88.57% and was included in the very good category. The average payment from VISEL's response obtained an average of 95.46% and was included in the very good category.
