Abstract

The Effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning Model in Shaping Students' Thinking Skills on Cooperative and Cooperative Materials. This study aims to find out how effective the Problem Based Learning learning model is in shaping critical thinking skills in the Youth Pledge material. The method used in this study is a quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. The samples used were class VII A as the experimental class (n=32) and VII C as the control class (n=32). The data collection techniques used in this study are instruments in the form of questionnaires, observations and documentation studies that are analyzed with alternative tests paired sample test and independent sample t-test with results of 0.000 < 0.05 which means that the Problem Based Learning learning model is effective in shaping students' critical thinking skills. This is shown from the results of the n-gain present test of the experimental class of 61.81% and the results of the n-gain present test of the control class of 34.31%. The results of the effect size test obtained a value of 2.61 which is included in the high-impact category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of applying the Project Citizen learning model on students' critical thinking skills in the Pancasila Education subject for Grade VIII at SMP Negeri 3 Purbalingga. The method used in this study is quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group design. The sample consists of 32 students from class VIII F as the experimental group and 32 from class VIII G as the control group. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Based on statistical analysis using SPSS, a significance value of 0.000 0.05 was obtained, indicating that the null hypothesis (HO) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (HA) is accepted. The percentage results showed an increase in the experimental group's performance from 71% before the intervention to 81% after the intervention, resulting in a 10% improvement. It can be concluded that the Project Citizen learning model significantly impacts the critical thinking skills of Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Purbalingga on the topic of preserving my nation's culture.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on critical thinking skills on Appreciating the Environment and Local Culture at SMP Negeri 8 Purwokerto. The method used in this study is quasi-experimental with a quantitative approach. The population in this study consists of Grade VII students at SMP Negeri 8 Purwokerto. The sample size is 70 students, selected through purposive sampling, with class VII D as the experimental group (n=35) and class VII A as the control group (n=35). Data collection techniques include unstructured interviews, observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The research findings indicate a significant effect of the Problem-Based Learning model on students' critical thinking skills, with a significance value of 0.769. This means that the independent variable (X), the Problem-Based Learning model, has a significant effect of 76.9% on the dependent variable (Y), which is critical thinking skills. The results demonstrate that implementing the Problem-Based Learning model significantly enhances critical thinking skills among Grade VII students at SMP Negeri 8 Purwokerto.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effects of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project on the mutual cooperative attitude of students at SMP Negeri 8 Purwokerto. The research method used in this study is descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach. The population in this study consists of seventh and eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Purwokerto. The sample size is 237 students, determined using a simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques employed in this study include questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. The research findings indicate a positive and significant impact of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project on the mutual cooperative attitude of students at SMP Negeri 8 Purwokerto. The influence of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project on students' mutual cooperative attitudes is measured at 0.376, which can be interpreted as the independent variable (X) - the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project - contributing 37.6% to the dependent variable (Y) mutual cooperative attitude. This can be seen in the students' mindset, which fosters collaboration and teamwork, social sensitivity and concern, and a sharing attitude.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the influence of participation in the Student Council (OSIS) on students' study discipline. The method used in this study is an explanatory method with a quantitative approach. The sample used was students of grade XI and XII of SMA Negeri 1 Kroya with a total of 87 students. The data collection technique used questionnaire, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study was simple linear regression. Based on the results, the obtained t-value (7.224) was greater than the critical t-value (1.663), and the significance value was less than 0.05 (0.000 0.05), indicating a significant influence of OSIS participation on students' study discipline. The influence of OSIS participation on students' study discipline was 38%, meaning that OSIS participation accounted for 38% of the variation in study discipline, while the remaining 62% could be attributed to other factors or variables not examined in this study. This finding is supported by research results revealing that some students still do not fully adhere to rules or instructions correctly.
