Abstract

It is important for a counselor to have a comperehensive understanding of the concept of human and everything that surrounds human’s life in order to become a mentally, psychologically and spiritually healthy person. The development of guidance and counseling materials needs to be expanded continuously because of human complexity with its multidimensionality. The purpose of this study is to obtain guidance and counseling materials contained in the principles of the teachings of Sheikh Ahmad Mutamakkin through the ornaments of the Kajen Mosque which contains teaching messages regarding the human process of achieving mental health. This study was conducted using a qualitative approach, an ethnographic model with an exploratory content analysis procedure. The data sourced from the ornaments and the previous study related to the study of Kajen mosque ornaments from previous researchers. The result of the study shows that the teachings contained in the ornaments of the Kajen mosque by Sheikh Ahmad Mutamakkin can be used as a source of knowledge and value in developing guidance and counseling service materials, especially those based on religious spirituality. The results of this study can be used as a framework for counselors' thinking in providing guidance and counseling services, especially those based on Islamic religion.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to reveal the Implementation of Cyber Counseling in Higher Education Through the My Counselor Application. Research on the Implementation of Cyber Counseling in Higher Education was conducted using a qualitative approach with the type of field research with data collection techniques using Interview, Observation and Documentation Techniques. The research subjects or informants in this research are the chairman of the My Counselor Application Founder, My Counselor Application Admin, Guidance and Counseling Students of IAIN Kudus. The results showed that there are various counseling services in the My Counselor Application, namely individual counseling, SOS Call, My Counselor Support Group, Psychological Services, Meet Counselor, Consulting Services, My Test Services.-based counseling service Self Help for My Counselor users by utilizing social media Facebook and Instagram. The research contribution in this study is about the implementation of the My Counselor Application in Counseling Services in Higher Education.

Abstract

Based on developmental tasks, adolescents have increased social interest in peers. This has an impact on mental health, so it needs to be analyzed in depth. This study aims to explore the profile of peer support in adolescents. The research approach is descriptive quantitative. The sample of this research is teenagers who study at the junior and senior high school level in Central Java which were selected randomly. The results show that on average, adolescents get peer support at a moderate level. The biggest aspect is support in obtaining awards while the lowest aspect is in terms of emotional support. This has implications for guidance and counseling services in schools in the future fostering the students to grow well.

Abstract

Lecturer performance is basically the performance carried out by lecturers in carrying out their duties as educators. The quality of educational outcomes is highly dependent on the quality of lecturer performance. The purpose of this study is to develop an empirical model to improve lecturer performance. The independent variables of the study consist of organizational culture, organizational commitment, and achievement motivation with the dependent variable being lecturer performance, which is a quantitative study using regression analysis. The research population is lecturers from 17 private universities in Pekalongan Residency, totaling 789 people. The research sample was 258 people using the proportional cluster random sampling technique. The results of the analysis using regression analysis obtained the following results: Organizational culture, organizational commitment, and achievement motivation partially affect the performance of lecturers. The implication of this research is that there is a need for great attention to the achievement motivation of lecturers as the main factor influencing lecturer performance.
