Abstract

Kekerasan terhadap perempuan (istri) yang terjadi di lingkungan keluarga tidak terlepas dari adanya ketimpangan gender yang menjadi salah satu sebab terjadinya KDRT. Di Jawa Tengah, salah satu lembaga yang memiliki konsen dalam penanganan kasus KDRT adalah LRC KJHAM. Pelayanan bimbingan konseling individu dan support group bagi korban KDRT yang diberikan oleh LRC-KJHAM bersifat integral dan menimbulkan perubahan yang signifikan dari perubahan sikap dan psikologis perempuan korban kekerasan dalam rumah tangga. Melalui bimbingan konseling tersebut para individu (korban) mampu menyadari bahwa dapat mengatasi masalahnya sendiri dan sadar bahwa mereka secara bersama dapat berjuang untuk mengatasi masalah yang mereka alami.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui (1) hubungan kecerdasan emosional dengan adaptabilitas karir; (2) hubungan kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar; (3) hubungan adaptabilitas karir dengan prestasi belajar; (4) hubungan kecerdasan emosional dan prestasi belajar pada mahasiswa yang dimediasi adaptabilitas karir. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa tahun pertama FIP Unnes tahun ajaran 2015/2016, dengan teknik sampling random sampling dan besar sampel (n=170). Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan Wong and Law Emotional Intelligence Scale (WLEIS), Career Adapt-Ability Scale (CAAS), dan indeks prestasi kumulatif. Validitas instrumen penelitian menggunakan validitas konstruk dan isi. Reabilitas instrument penelitian menggunakan koefisien alpha cronbach dengan hasil reliabilitas WLEIS 0,837 dan CAAS 0,911. Analisis mediasi menggunakan teknik bias corrected dengan N= 2000 dan confident interval 95%, dengan software SPSS versi 20 sintaks PROCESS dari Hayes. Hasil riset menunjukkan: (1) ada hubungan signifikan kecerdasan emosional dengan adaptabilitas karir (p < 0,01 dan β = 0,977); (2) ada hubungan signifikan kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar (p < 0,01 dan β = 0,010); (3) ada hubungan signifikan adaptabilitas karir dengan prestasi belajar (p < 0,05 dan β = 0,004); (4) Ada hubungan signifikan kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa yang dimediasi adaptabilitas karir (efek langsung LLCI= 0,006; ULCI= 0,014).The purpose of research to determine relationship between (1) emotional intelligence and adaptability career;  (2) emotional intelligence and academic achievement; (3) career adaptability and academic achievement; (4) emotional intelligence and academic achievement who mediated career adaptability. This research is a quantitative correlation. The population was a first year student FIP Unnes in the academic year 2015/2016, with random sampling techniques and sample size (n = 170). The data collection is using Wong and Law Emotional Intelligence Scale (WLEIS), Career Adapt-Ability Scale (CAAS), and grade point average (GPA). The validity using construck dan content validity. Reliability is using an alpha cronbach coefficient for WLEIS IS 0,837 and CAAS 0,911. Analysis mediation using techniques bias corrected with N = 2000 and 95% confident interval, with SPSS software version 20 syntax PROCESS of Hayes.  The research results that there is a significant relationship between: (1) emotional intelligence and career adaptability (p <0.01 and β = 0.977); (2) emotional intelligence and academic achievement (p <0.01 and β = 0.010); (3) career adaptability and academic achievement (p <0.05 and β = 0.004); (4) emotional intelligence and academic achievement whose career adaptability mediated (immediate effect and ULCI= 0.006;  LLCI = 0.014).

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the impact of self-instruction group counseling technique on students' academic procrastination behavior. To achieve such objective, one-group pretest - posttest design was used in this study by involving 8 students as participants. The results of paired t-test showed that the students' academic procrastination level decreased higher in the posttest measurement (71.39%) than pretest (80.21%, t = 14.982, p < 0.01). Moreover, this study further discussed the possibility of applying self-instruction in overcoming students' academic procrastination behavior problem at State Junior High School (SMP Negeri) 11 Surakarta.

Abstract

This study attempted to identify and analyze the relationship between life satisfaction, and problematic social media use on students by using self-esteem as the mediator. To do so, the population involved in this study were students of Public Junior High School (SMP Negeri) throughout Semarang City who used social media with the sample of 345 students selected using cluster random sampling technique. For more, their data were collected using the life satisfaction scale, Bergen Social Media Addiction Scale (BSMAS), and self-esteem inventory (SEI). The results of mediation analysis indicated that the indirect effect of life satisfaction and problematic social media use mediated by self-esteem was significant, while the direct effect was not significant. Thus, this study contributes implications for counselors in providing classical guidance service with a discussion related to the use of social media with the aim of preventing problematic social media use.

Abstract

This study was intended to determine the effect of the presence of tutors in the learning video on cognitive load and academic achievement. The design used in this study was the posttest control group design. The subjects of this study were 30 students of eleventh-grade science of senior high school number 1 Ungaran. The measurements of the data were carried out using cognitive load questionnaires, eye-tracking measurements, and biological matter of reproductive materials (prior knowledge and posttest teaching). The result of analysis using the Multivariate analysis of variance test showed that the presence of tutors in the learning video did not have a significant effect on extraneous load (F(2.27)=2.6, p>0.05), the presence of tutors in the learning video did not have a significant effect on germane load in the subjective measurements (F(2.27)=0.06, p>0.05), however, the presence of tutors in the learning video has a significant effect on the objective measurements (F(2.27)=24.47, p<0.05) and (F(2.27)=28.14, p<0.05). Furthermore, the presence of tutors in the learning video has a significant effect on academic achievement with (F(2.27)=3.38, p<0.05). The findings of this study proved that there were effects of the presence of tutor in the learning video on germane load and academic achievement.

Tujuan penelitian ini (1) Untuk menganalisis tingkat keefektifan konseling kelompok SFBCdengan teknik exception dalam meningkatkan self control pada siswa pelaku tawuran di SMKNasional Cirebon. (2) Untuk menganalisis tingkat keefektifan konseling kelompok SFBCdengan teknik miracle question dalam meningkatkan self control pada siswa pelaku tawuran diSMK Nasional Cirebon. (3) Untuk menganalisis tingkat keefektifan konseling kelompok SFBCdengan menggabungkan teknik exception dan teknik miracle question dalam meningkatkan selfcontrol pada siswa pelaku tawuran di SMK Nasional Cirebon. Metode penelitian menggunakanmetode true eksperimental dengan desain pretes-post control group. Teknik analisis datamenggunakan statistik deskriptif, dan statistik inferensial dengan uji beda rata-rata. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan konseling kelompok melalui pendekatan berpusat pada klien yang berorientasi religius untuk menurunkan perilaku anti social siswa. (2) Menganalisis keefektifan konseling kelompok melalui pendekatan berpusat pada klien yang berorientasi religius untuk menurunkan perilaku anti sosial siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode true eksperimental dengan desain pretes-post control group. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, dan statistik inferensial dengan uji beda rata-rata. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa (1) Keterlaksanaan konseling kelompok melalui pendekatan berpusat pada klien yang berorientasi religius mencapai 86,67% yang termasuk kategori sangat baik. (2) Layanan konseling kelompok melalui pendekatan berpusat pada klien yang berorientasi religius efektif untuk menurunkan perilaku antisocial siswa yang dibuktikan dengan nilai Zhitung 2,032 > ttable 1,96 dengan nilai probabilitas (p value) 0,042 < 0,05, dengan nilai indeks gain 0,475 yang termasuk kategori sedang.Kata kunci: Konseling Kelompok; Berpusat pada Klien; Religius, Perilaku Antisosial

Abstract

Purpose - The aim of this research was to recognize radically (deeply) the professionalism of Islamic spiritual guides.Method - This research used descriptive qualitative with the determination of informants using the model of snowball. The data analysis in this study used Creswell's theory of analysis ranging from data reduction, display, and to conclutions.Result - The results of this study indicate that a professional Islamic spiritual guide needs to meet three indicators in order to carry out counseling process optimally. The indicators of professionalism are relevant educational qualifications, expertise or qualified credibility, and finally the presence of payment commensurate with the quality of work. Meanwhile, the professionalism of Islamic spiritual guidance services is to pay attention to the time and material given to counselees so that they can display or provide Islamic spiritual guidance services professionally.Implications - The implication of this research is to improve performance professionally by absorbing the experts or specialists in the field of Islamic spiritual guidance.Originality - The originality of this study is that it is the first research model to apply the correlation research method with the LESKAP pattern.

Abstract

Self-efficacy is a considerable predictor in improving university students’ academic achievement. Therefore, it is important for university counselors to decide the right treatment for self-efficacy and academic procrastination matters. Regarding this issue, this study was attempted to identify and analyze the effectiveness and effectiveness degree of CBT and self-talk technique in improving self-efficacy and reducing academic procrastination behavior. The subjects involved were 16 university students chosen using purposive sampling technique. Their data of self-efficacy and academic procrastination were collected using College Academic Self-efficacy scale and Tuckman Procrastination scale. Upon the analysis, it was found that the use of CBT with self-talk technique was effective to improve self-efficacy and reduce academic procrastination. These findings prove that the use of CBT with self-talk technique is effective to improve self-efficacy and reduce academic procrastination

Abstract

Students with low self-esteem tend to be unconfident about enrolling at public university realized by the feeling of pessimism and failure. In relation to this, the current study attempted to examine the effectiveness of group counseling with stress inoculation training to improve students’ self-esteem. It used experimental method with pretest-posttest design. There were 14 ninth grade students involved as the subject of this study chosen using purposive sampling. After their data were analyzed, it was found that group counseling with stress inoculation training technique was effective to improve students’ self-esteem. These findings proved the effectiveness of group counseling with stress inoculation training technique to improve students’ self-esteem in public university enrolment
