Abstract

Game adalah sesuatu yang popular di masyarakat, tetapi masih banyak paradigma bahwa game hanya lekat pada hiburan semata. Game memiliki banyak keuntungan kaitanya terhadap aktivitas layanan. Keterlibatan penuh siswa pada aktivitas layanan menjadi penentu besar dalam pencapaian luaran yang diharapkan. Game mampu membuat pemain berada dalam kondisi terebut dan masuk dalam dunia sendiri. Hal ini menjadi sebuah peluang bagi konselor untuk mamasukkan konten pendidikan atau layanan didalamnya. Strategi game based learning (GBL) merupakan solusi implementasi penggunaan game dalam pendekatan strategi layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah. Konsep inti di balik ini adalah pengajaran melalui pengulangan, kegagalan, dan pencapaian tujuan. Siswa bekerja menjapai tujuan, memilih dan memahami Tindakan serta konsekuensi yang ada. Belajar sambal bermain dan merasakan situasi secara langsung menjadi orientasi pembelajaran aktif dalam GBL. Artikel ini dilakukan dengan metode studi kepustakaan atau kajian literatur untuk mengupas bagaimana implementsi dari strategi GBL dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling khusunya pada komponen layanan dasar.

Abstract

Most parents in Indonesia are unable to provide maximum care for their children while working. Childcare includes fostering moral intelligence, which is carried out by grandmothers, household assistants, and daycare assistants. Furthermore, 178 young children (95 males and 83 females) and 178 caregivers (68 grandmothers, 54 household assistants, and 56 daycare assistants) were involved in the study. Simple regression analysis was used to examine parenthood on moral intelligence, and moderator analysis was used to test permissive non-parental childcare and moral intelligence in early childhood. The results showed that authoritative and permissive parenthood has an effect on moral intelligence and that the effects of permissiveness on moral intelligence are only moderately influenced. Permissive non-parental childcare and moral intelligence apply to the group of grandmothers and household assistants. The research provides a detailed description of the role of predictors on moral intelligence in non-parental care.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of solution-focused group counseling to improve students planned happenstance skills. The experimental research method way repeated measures with pretest design and multiple posttest design, involving 5 students as participants which from 24 upperclassman of the guidance and counseling FKIP ULM which have low planned happenstance skills. The result of the research by using one-way ANOVA for repeated measures test showed that solution-focused group counseling was effective in improving the planned happenstance skills (F (2,8) = 325,895; p<0,001).

Abstract

Personal growth initiative penting dalam domain kehidupan, terutama bagi kalangan mahasiswa yang sedang berada di masa pengembangan diri. Pengembangan diri pada mahasiswa sangant diperlukan guna mempersiapkan diri menghadapi kehidupan setelah lulus dari bangku perkuliahan.Nyatanya masih banyak mahasiswa yang belum memiliki personal growth initiative yang memadai sehingga berpengaruh pada kinerja belajar, perkembangan diri, karier, bahkan kesehatan mental mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah expost facto, sedangkan desain penelitian ini adalah korelasional. Responden penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang berjumlah 364 mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang, yang dipilih dengan teknik pengambilan sampelquota random sampling.Analisis uji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi hierarkis. Hasil analisis regresi hierarkis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara future time perspective dengan personal growth initiative (∆R=0,216, ∆F=11,456, p<0,01). Dari keempat aspekfuture time perspective, hanya aspek speed dan connectedness yang memprediksi secara positif personal growth initiative (β=0,203; β=0,217, semua p<0,01, berturut-turut). Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi personal growth initiative individu maka semakin besar pula future time perspective individu tersebut, begitupun sebaliknya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan keterlibatan orang tua terhadap efikasi diri pengambilan keputusan karier yang dilakukan pada sampel yang terlibat sebanyak 400 peserta didik yang dipilih menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Hipotesis penelitian ini bahwa neuroticism dan extraversion memediasi hubungan antara keterlibatan orang tua dengan efikasi diri pengambilan keputusan karier. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala psikologi yang diadaptasi. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis mediasi dengan teknik bootstrap bias corrected method dengan confidential interval 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan orang tua memprediksi efikasi diri pengambilan keputusan karier dan extraversion, namun tidak dapat memprediksi neuroticism,sedangkan neuroticism dapat memprediksi efikasi diri pengambilan keputusan karier, selanjutnya extraversion memediasi hubungan keterlibatan orang tua dengan efikasi diri pengambilan keputusan karier. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman bagi konselor mengenai hubungan keterlibatan orang tua serta pengaruh aspek personal (efikasi diri dankepribadian) dalam pemilihan karier.__________________________________________________________ This study aims to determine the relationship of parental involvement to career decision making self-efficacy carried out in the sample involved as many as 400 students selected using cluster random sampling technique. The hypothesis that neuroticism and extraversion mediate the relationship between parental involvement and career decision makingself-efficacy. Methods of data collection using an adapted psychological scale. Data analysis method used is descriptive analysis and mediation analysis with corrected method bias bootstrap technique with 95% confidential intervals. The results showed that parental involvement predicts career decision making self-efficacy and extraversion, but cannot predict neuroticism,while neuroticism can predict the career decision makingself-efficacy, furthermore extraversion mediates the relationship of parental involvement with career decision making self-efficacy. This study provides counselors with an understanding of the relationship of parental involvement and the influence of personal aspects (self-efficacy and personality) in career selection.

Abstract

Dewasa ini persaingan dunia kerja semakin kompleks dan persaingan kualifikasi persaingan kerja semakin ketat. Siswa diharapkan dapat memiliki perencanaan karir sesuai dengan bakat, minat, taraf intelegensi, dan nilai-nilai kehidupan yang dimiliki untuk memudahkan siswa dalam merencanakan karir. Dalam membuat perencanaan karir, siswa membutuhkan informasi sebagai bahan pertimbangan siswa dalam membuat perencanaan karir yang sesuai dengan bakat, minat, taraf intelegensi dan nilai-nilai kehidupan yang dimilikinya melalui layanan informasi karir. Dengan pemahaman tersebut, siswa mampu merencanakan karirnya secara matang sesuai dengan keadaan dirinya. Upaya meningkatkan perencanaan karir dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan layanan informasi karir berbantuan website. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perencanaan karir siswa SMA di Kota Tarakan melalui layanan informasi karir berbantuan website. Desain eksperimen yang digunakan dalampenelitian ini adalah pre eksperimen dalam bentuk one group pretest-post design.Penelitian ini melibatkan 35 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini adalah layanan informasi karir berbantuan website efektif meningkatkan perencanaan karir siswa SMA di Kota Tarakan (10,094, p < 0.01). __________________________________________________________ Today's increasingly complex business world competition and competition qualifications increasingly tight. Students are expected to have career planning according to their talents, interests, intelligence level, and life values to facilitate students in career planning. In making career planning, students need information as a material balance of students in making career planning in accordance with the talent, interests, intelligence level and the values of life it has through career information services. With that understanding, students are able to plan their careers according to their situation. Efforts to improve career planning can be done using career information services assisted by website. Abstract

Keterampilan konseling yang dikembangkan guru bimbingan dan konseling pada penyelenggaraan pelayanan BK masih belum optimal. Guru BK belum secara optimal dalam merespon pernyataan atau pengungkapan kondisi dari diri konseli dan mengkomunikasikan kembali kepada konseli. Disisi lain Era teknologi dan tuntutan akuntabilias publik memaksa konselor untuk berubah lebih baik dalam pemberian layanan. Dari pemrmasalah tersebut penulis mengadakan pelatihan untuk peningkatan komptensi konselor dalam pemberian layanan melalui metode game-based learning. Pengaplikasian game-based learning pada pelayanan BK yaitu pemanfaatan game atau permainan yang secara khusus dirancang untuk mendukung proses konseling dalam pelayanan BK. Bermain game dapat menjadi media katarsis bagi siswa. Game sebagai metode layanan mampu memberikan pengalaman langsung bagi siswa akan masalahnya atau nilai psikoedukasi yang diajarkan. Selanjutnya strategi game mampu menjembatani komunikasi antar konselor dan siswa. Adapun hasil dari pelatihan ini menunjukkan antusias yang tinggi dari peserta selama proses kegiatan. Peserta pelatihan juga mampu menunjukan kemampuan analisis dan praktik layanan dengan strategi game-based learning secara baik sebagaimana indikator observasi dan praktik yang digunakan.

Abstract

Advances in information and communication technology offer a sophisticated smartphone that has the potential to lead to addiction. Previous studies found smartphone addiction is motivated by the presence of psychological factors such as depression experienced by a person. In addition, previous studies also found a determining factor that is the magnitude of smartphone addiction different depends on the types of smartphone applications selected. Therefore, current research aims to identify the relationship between depression and the choice of smartphone apps with smartphone addiction in students. Current research is quantitative research methods. The participants of this study were 307 students. The instruments used in the study consisted of a depression scale, smartphone addiction scale, and smartphone app selection questionnaire. The data was analyzed using product-moment correlation. The data analysis revealed a positive correlation coefficient value of 0.468 with a significance of 0.000 (p>0.05), meaning there was a positive association between depression and smartphone application choices with smartphone addiction in students. Thus, it can be concluded that the higher the level of depression experienced, the higher the level of smartphone addiction of students. Then, the choice of smartphone apps displayed a different impact on the level of smartphone addiction. Game applications have fewer percentages of voters compared to social media applications. However, game applications have a bigger influence on students' smartphone addiction.

The experimental design used in this research is quasi-experiment in the form of one group pretest-post design. The career planning scale consists of 45 items with 5 falling items and 0.875 alpha coefficient. This study involved 35 students as an experimental group selected by purposive sampling. The result of this research is career information service the website-assisted effectively improve the career planning of high school students in Tarakan City (10,094, p <0.01).

Abstract

The lack of method in improve student self-confidence was the background of this study. The researchers was investigating the effect of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy group counseling with self-instruction and cognitive restructuring techniques to improve students' self-confidence. The research method used was pretest and posttest design quasi-experiment, test design repeated measure ANOVA by involving 16 students as sample who were selected by random sampling from 75 students. The results showed that cognitive restructuring and self-instruction technique is effective to improve the self-confidence. After comparing the the result of both techniques, self-instruction was higher than cognitive restructuring technique to improve students' self-confidence.
