Abstract

Masalah antrian adalah masalah yang selalu dijumpai hampir di semua kegiatan yang dilakukan olehmanusia, terutama jika harus bertransaksi di bank. Begitu juga di PT Bank Riau cabang utamaPekanbaru. Disini sistem antrian yang berlaku adalah model multi-channel single phase (M/M/S).Dimana ada satu jalur antrian nasabah yang akan dilayani oleh dua atau lebih fasilitas pelayanan.Dari hasil penelitian, bahwa nasabah yang datang rata-rata per harinya sebanyak 273 orang,sedangkan jumlah teller yang melayani rata-rata sebanyak 5 orang per hari. Dari keadaan inidiperoleh jumlah nasabah yang menunggu dalam antrian sebanyak 37orang dengan rata-rata waktumenunggu dalam antrian selama 57 menit. Sementara jumlah teller yang tersedia sebanyak 7 orangteller. Tapi teller yang tersedia tersebut tidak beroperasi sekaligus.Jika jumlah teller yang tersedia sebanyak 7 orang beroperasi sekaligus, maka akan terjadi penurunanyang signifikan dari jumlah nasabah dan waktu yang mereka habiskan untuk menunggu dalam antrian,dengan jumlah nasabah yang menunggu dalam antrian sebanyak 11 orang dan waktu menunggudalam antrianpun menjadi lebih singkat yaitu selama 16 menit. Sedangkan titik optimal biayamenunggu dan biaya fasilitas sebanyk 37 orang teller dan ini tidak mungkin untuk diterapkan karenamemakan biaya yang sangat besar.Jadi, untuk mengatasi masalah antrian sebaiknya pihak bank menyediakan teller tambahan yang bisasiap beroperasi pada jam-jam dan tanggal-tanggal sibuk dan jumlah teller harus lebih dari 7 orang,supaya masalah antrian bisa diminimalisir.

Abstract

This research conducted in PT. Jasaraharja Putera branch Pekanbaru in order to analyze the effect of job experience and performance assessment on employee’s career development. Both primary or secondary data used in this study, in which those datas are collected by using questioner. Population consist of entire employees. Sample technique by cencus is used consist of 41 employees. Job experience and performance assessment used as independent, while career development is dependent variable. Data analyzed by using descriptive and multiple linier regression analysis assisted by SPSS 17 for windows. This study reveals that job experience and performance assessment influence significantly, either simultaneously or partially, on employee’s career development. Performance assessment gives stronger effect to career development than the effect given by job experience. This research urges some recommendation to management in order to enhance the experience quality by delivering training, job rotation and adjust competence and intention along with the job position. Performance assessment need to be enhanced by conducting workload analysis, implementing a consistence sanction and sending employees into motivational seminars.Keywords: Job Experience, Performance Asessment and Career Development

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of methods of forecasting the demand for the product at Arara Abadi. The data were obtained by direct observation company the research object, namely PT. Arara Abadi and interviews with the parties that the leadership of the company and some of the workers. Based on the results of forecasting method moving average (moving average) single moving average is done within 3 months and 5 months. Forecasting using a single 3-month moving average forecasting results did not correspond to reality. It is also the case with forecasting using a single 3-month moving average also does not correspond to reality. Forecasting results using weighted moving average (weighted moving average) is known demand for wood logs and chip was highest in August 2012. Through the method of forecasting with exponential smoothing (exponential smoothing) is performed with α = 0.1 and 0.5 are known forecasting results are not in accordance with reality and there are still errors. Exponential smoothing method of forecasting the trend (exponential smoothing with trend) known to forecast the results do not match with reality and there are still errors. Concluded that the appropriate forecasting method for forecasting the demand for wood logs and chips at PT. Arara Abadi is a method of moving average (moving average) , especially single 5 monthly moving average for forecasting is done by the moving average method has the smallest absolute error than the method of forecasting other.Keywords:Effectiveness, Single Moving Average

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect in partial and simultaneous of variable organizational culture and job satisfaction to employee performance marketing section of Bank Panin Pekanbaru. Study using purposive sampling and stratified sampling by giving questionnaire to the respondents. Analysis of the data using qualitative methods and quantitative methods by SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) version 20.0. The result showed organizational culture and job satisfaction to employee performance marketing section of Bank Panin Pekanbaru and the effect in partial and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination (R2) equal to 69.50% and the remaining 30.5% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Organizational culture has a stronger influence on employee performance. So good organizational culture of a company and job satisfaction of employees created by employee will improve employee performance marketing section of Bank Panin Pekanbaru.Keywords: Organizational Culture, Job Satisfaction, Employee Performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of mental and physical workload and work stress to the nurses in Dr. AchmadMochtar Hospital in Bukittinggi. This research is a descriptive study, which the research looking for a variable value without connect it with other variables. The file in this study conducted by questionnaire. The result of the descriptive analysis of physical workload indicates the light category which is 100-200 kcal/hour. For the mental workload is average at 67,51 for ICU/ICCU, 76,42 for rooms KB IGD, and 77,64 for the room IGD each of which fall into the average category. And for stress in work shows the number 113,38 that can be categorized in average. Based on theses results, it can be concluded that the workload of mental, physical, and work stress is have no significant effect to the nurses during activity, but it should be noted to avoid increasement on those variables.Keywords: workload of mental, workload of physical, work stress

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analysis the effect caused by variable Qulity Service Layout consisting of Ambient Condition (with respect to environmental conditions). Spatial Layout and Functional (spacious layout and function) and signs / symbols and Artefact (signs / symbols and artifacts). The population of this study amounted to 31 548, while the return of the sample using accidental sampling technique in order to obtain a sample of 100 people. The method of analysis used in this research is descriptive quantitative method, simultaneous analysis and partial. The results show that the Partial Simultaneous and Ambient Condition, Functional and Spatial Layout and sign / symbol and artefact effect on Humanistic Effect on General Hospital Nusalima Pekanbaru, and ambient condition has the most dominant influence on the humanistic effect on General Hospital Nusalima Pekanbaru.Keywords : Quality Service Layout. Abstract

The study was conducted in PT. Sentra Karya Raya Pekanbaru Light which is a general trade contractors. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of compensation and working conditions on employee job satisfaction. The study population was the entire staff of about 63 employees who conducted the census. Analysis of data using multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 17 for windows. The results showed that compensation and a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. In contrast, although the working conditions had a positive effect but not significant impact on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction of 44.3 % can be explained as the variation that occurs in variable compensation and working conditions. Recommendation that can be given is that management adjusts the amount of receipts in the form of compensation to the employees base salary and incentives in line with the applicable regulations, as well as holding a pension plan and budget for employee recreation. Working conditions by increasing the harmonious relationship between employees and security need to be dikondusifkan back.Keywords : Compensation , Working Conditions and Job Satisfaction

Abstract

Inventory is one of the most expensive and important asset to a company both service companies and trading companies. Companies must focus on controlling inventory because the inventory is one part that absorbs the greatest investment. The purpose of this study is to determine control of raw materials by using ABC analysis on PT Besmindo Andalas Semesta. Using the Pareto principle, “the critical few and the trivial many”. The idea is to focus on inventory control to inventory items high value to low-value inventory.This study indicates that inventories are classified in category A have a percentage amount of inventory by 8.3% with the percentage value of 42.42%, category B have a total percentage of inventories amounted to 32.94% with the percentage value of 31.88%, category C has a number inventory percentage of 59.83% with a percentage value of 24.64%. So it can be concluded that the raw of materials in category A has a small amount with the absorption of large capital therefore the raw of materials in the development of category A should get more attention and kept well in comparison to the raw of material categories B and C.Keyword: Inventory Control, ABC Analisys

Abstract

This research was conducted at the International Tbk Bank Artha Graha Pekanbaru in order to determine and analyze the effect of leadership on employee performance through intrinsic motivation. Research has a population of 107 employees of Bank Artha Graha Pekanbaru International Tbk and using census sampling to take the number of samples 107 employees. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis method is a way to test variables, regression testing, and final test path analysis or path analysis. From the results of the testing that has been done, there is a direct effect between leadership variables on intrinsic motivation. Intrinsic motivation has a positive effect on employee performance, which means the employee's performance is influenced by intrinsic motivation. And for leadership to employee performance variables terdpat positive influence employee performance means influenced by leadership. For the indirect effect, namely, the influence of leadership on employee performance through intrinsic motivation to get the positive effects. From the results, the relationship is directly influence the effect of a positive effect, but the effect of leadership on performance through intrinsic motivation effect is smaller when compared to the effect directly. Bank Artha Graha Pekanbaru should be more attention in improving the performance of employees, Bank Artha Graha management should conduct continuous evaluation to employees to be able to perform two way communication in order to obtain in depth information about the employee's performance problems.Keywords: Leadership, intrinsic motivation and employee performance

Abstract

This Study was conducted at PT. Pertamina EP located at Jakarta in order to analyze reliability of machines that used in that company. This study is to suggest the company the picture of the aspect that still inefficient in the operational system. This study is using prime and secondary data with water injection pump type GASO 3364-7 as the study object that located in business, explorations and production unit (UBEP) Jambi. the data is collected from spare part changes within 2011-2012 period. Using ABC analysis, the critical parts within the machines will be sorted out and each of the critical parts will be measured the mean time between failure with comparing the total uptime of the spare part and total breakdown per critical component in that period of time. As the result of the study, can be concluded that water injection pump machine, with 3 month averages will have a breakdown that involving the critical parts. The recommendation is, the management has to pay attention at the inventory level of critical parts so it can be more efficient where is the inventory level is not bigger than usage level considering critical parts have high price above all parts that will make higher inventory cost if the supply is more than usage and lack of inventory will causing major shutdown that will cost company some costly opportunity.Keywords : Reliability, Maintenance.
