Abstract

This study was conducted on 7 to 21 March. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the role of Ocean Fishing Harbor Bungus in the activities of fisheries in West Sumatra. The role refers to the terms of fleet size, fishing gear, production and the number of fishermen. The method was used is the survey method. The determination of the respondent in this are fishermen employees of PPS Bungus, in the harbor. The PPS Bungus which has a using Purposive Sampling. Descriptive analysis is done based on interviews with respondents and observations in cross check directly in the field. The results of this analysis, the number of fleets that fish landed as much as 4.32% (23 units) of 533 units. Fishing gear is used by 4.32% (23 units) of 533 fishing gear in PPS Bungus. The fish production average of 98.71 tons compared to the total production of 2321.88 tons per year. the majority of tuna, tuna and skipjack which were landed. The arresting and fishermen who sell fish in PPS Bungus were 3.17% (125 peoples) from of the total fishing activity in the harbor was 3939 people. PPS Bungus provide a small facility because the number of facility r is still in a small units and facilities are limited to function it, in addition the ocean harbor of fishing Bungus lack of security a causing the lack of users.Keywords: Role, Facilities, Activity Is Of Fisheries, Ocean Fishing Harbor Bungus

Abstract

The Research on the analysis of Hand Line was conducted in April until May 2014 in Bungus Oceanic Fishing Port Padang, West Sumatra. The aims of this study were to analyze the financial capital, feasibility and business prospects using Hand Line. The method used to this study is a survey respondents were selected through purposive sampling of Hand Line fish catcher to size fleet of 30 GT and 50 GT because sizes of the ship is more recorded in the statistics.The results of this study indicate that venture capital of Hand Line stalling for 30 GT vessels was Rp 954.980.000 and for 50 GT vessels was Rp 1.404.960.000. Investment criteria of Hand Line stalling for 30 GT vessel show value of NPV was Rp 850.279.096 - BCR was 1.22. IRR was 38.51 % and the PP was 1.82, while 50 GT vessel show NPV about Rp 841.789.240 - BCR of 1.17 - IRR of 35.59 % and the PP of 1.10. Business prospects of 30 GT vessels is better than 50 GT vessels. This shows that Hand Line stalling for 30 GT vessels is worth extended than 50 GT vessels seen from the index investment criteria.Keywords : Hand line, feasibility, investment, PPS Bungus.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the system of revenue in Padang coastal using beach seine. The survey was conducted in Padang West Sumatra province on 20-27 November 2015. This study used a survey method with the respondents are 2 fisherman owner and 24 fishermen workers.Based on the results of the research showed that businesses in Padang coastal using beach seine can be classified into two types of business that is the family business and non-family businesses, both these companies influence is done on the system of revenue. The system of revenue on family business more emphasis on kinship so hard to the standard rules relating to the sharing this system while the system of revenue on non-family business in force define 33 % for fishermen owner and 67 % for fishermen workers. The percentage of the income of fishermen owners greater in comparison to the percentage of fishermen workers both family and non-family business.Keywords: System, revenue, income, fishermen, beach seine.

Abstract

This research is purpose to detemine the amount of invesment, income, profit also feasibility of tilapia cultivation in the pond in Tebing Tinggi Village, district of Benai, Regency of Kuantan Singingi. The method used based on case study. Populations in this research are 11 firsh farmers. From that populations sample taken with Stratified Random Sampling. Stratified Random Sampling is a method to choose sample by dividing populations into three categories that called level that is small secondary and big scale.Result ofresearch showed average investment of small scale that is Rp. 13.672.063. secondary scale that is Rp. 33.059.550 and for big scale it shown Rp. 116.571.950. Small scale earns Rp. 10.242.000 for average income and benefits about Rp. 1.783.388,-/hervest. Secondary scale aerns Rp. 27.166.000 and benefits about Rp. 6.158.182,-/harvest. Foe the big scale result shown Rp. 100.674.000 for average income and benefits Rp. 22. 947.184,-/harvest. Value of average RCR obtained from the small scale is 1,21, and 1,29 for secondary scale and 1,30 for big scale. Average FRR for small scale is 13,04%. 18,63% for secondary scale and 19,68% for the big one. Abstract

This research was conducted on 3rd until 10th January 2013. This study aims todetermine how much of the investment and operational costs , feasibility andproblems faced by fish farmers in the cultivation of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) infloating net cages in Silalahi III village. The method used in this research is astratified random sampling method with respondents are 8 farmers were divided into3 categories.The results of this research indicate that business investment tilapia farming infloating cages for cultivation category I is Rp.82.743.750,-/unit cultivation withoperational costs Rp.66.846.917,-/period, for category II the investments be requiredRp.167 928 125,-/unit cultivation with operational costs Rp.130.933.792,-/period andinvestments for the cultivation of category III is Rp.397.521.250,-/unit cultivationwith operational cost Rp.317.654.250,-/period. The value BCR of tilapia fish farmersin the village Silalahi III is between 1.1968 until 1.234, value of FRR is 31.79% until37.41% and the value of PPC 5.35 period until 6.29 to period. Based on the analysisof the research, we conclude that the business is financially profitable and feasible tobe developed. The cultivation are most feasible to be developed based on the resultsof the analysis of feasible is a cultivation that occupied by farmers category III withBCR value is 1,2340, FRR 37.41%/year and PPC is 2 years and 8 months. Theproblems faced by farmers in the cultivation is a mortality of seeds cause the seed cannot adapt to the environment and the farmers have not been able to deal with adisease that occurs in fish.Keyword: Silalahi III village, investment, BCR, FRR, PPC, Oreochromis niloticus

Abstract

This research about business analysis of crab (Portunus pelagicus) processing was conducted on May 2015 at Sungai Buluh Village, Singkep Barat, Lingga Regency, Riau Island Province. This research aimed to analyzed production development, profit investation, business fersibility, and job prospect processing of crab. The method used in this researh was study case method and respondent determination with purposive sampling is business owner, labor, fisherman, and traders. The result of this research showed production had affected by season and business investation processing of crab is 83.507.000 with criteria invest of processing is ACR 1.13, FRR 460.8 % and PPC 0.22 %, it showed business processing of crab is feasible to continued based on criteria invest and have good prospect based on marketing and environment.Keywords : Crab, Portunus pelagicus , Business fersibility, Investation

Abstract

This study was conducted in January 2016 for PPS Bungus West Sumatra Province to Changes in the area, duration and frequency of the arrests, operating expenses and income of fishermen owners and tenants vessel chart floating 60 GT and 90 GT with the fuel price hike diesel prices to be determined in this study Rp. 6400, - / liter and Rp. 6900, - / liter. The method used in this experiment is the case research method, the determination of the respondents a layered sample in this study.The study concludes that the increase in fuel prices has not led to changes in the fishing area (fishing grounds), Fishing journey (time of Fisheries), frequency, and timing. But the increase in fuel prices led to rising costs operasinal Purse ship saine 60 GT Rp 7.6766 million, - / trip (12.8%) and 90 GT vessel Purse Saine is Rp. 14.115 million, - / trip (11.6%). On the other hand, the increase in operating costs due to rising diesel prices led to a decline in the net income of each received - any fisherman. Fishing boats Stock Exchange Saine 60 GT decreased the average income of Rp. 7.6766 million, - / trip (2.5%) and 90 GT vessel saine wallet fell on average - an average of Rp. 14.115..000 .- / travel (2.8%).Keywords: impact of an increase, revenue, Purse Seine, FUEL

Abstract

These research about business analysis enlargement Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) at floating net cages, was held in march 2015 in the village Tanjung Sani. The purpose of the research to know how large cost of investment and profits obtained from the business enlargement Tilapia at floating net cages 10 bags and 20 bags, this research also aims to find out how the feasibility of busisness if revisited from investment criteria.This research shows that floating net cages business 10 bags needed Rp 305.820.000 investment, and for 20 bags needed Rp 594.920.000 invesment. The income obtained from one production periode to floating net cages for 10 bags business is Rp 342.000.000 and Rp 648.000.000 for 20 bags floating net cages business. The criteria investment of floating net cages business for 10 bags was valued by NPV Rp 622.009.880 BCR 1,25 and IRR 76,07 % and for floating net cages business for 20 bags was valued by NPV Rp 1.326.392.250 BCR 1,27 and IRR 76,20 %.Key Words: Floating Net Cages, Investment, Income, and Financial Analysis

Abstract

This research held on the 11thjune-24june 2016 in Tapanuli Tengah Regency the Province of North Numatera. The purpose of this research to find activities of Non-Government Organizations Fisheries, know the funding source of Non-Governmen Organizations, and know the role of Non-Government Organizations to the activities of fisheries, and know relations and cooperation non-governmental organizations fisheries With local Governments or private companies in Tapanuli Tengah. The methodology that was used is a method of case studies.Based on the research result there are fourNon-Government Organizations moving at the focus of the field of fisheries are NGO Manajemen Lingkungan Pesisir dan Kelautan (MLPK), NGO Wahana Lestari, NGO Samudera Hindia Utama, and NGO DPC HNSI Tapanuli Tengah. The Non-Government Organizations conduct activities training fisheries Devoted to fishermen, Wives fishermen, the community, and the educated group. The funding source of Non-Governmental Organization derived from swdaya, donors, and bonds of cooperation or contract. Abstract

This research was conducted in January 2016 at Muara Port, South Padang Regency, Padang City, West Sumatera Province. This research purposed were to analyze how much the investation, gross income, nett income, the worthiness business from investation criteria RCR, FRR, and PPC, and also to know about the problem in the fishing business that used troll line ship with 5 GT and 6 GT size. This research used case study method with the determination respondent technique is purposive sampling, there are the owner of ship and fishing master. The research indicated that total investation from 5 GT troll line ship as Rp.300.386.902,50, gross income in every trip as Rp. 24.950.000, nett income in every trip as Rp. 11.195.805.00, RCR=1,29, FRR = 34 % , PPC = 54 trip. The total investation for 6 GT troll line ship as Rp.376.127.938,50, gross income in every trip as Rp.34.080.000,00, nett income in every trip as Rp. 17.076.677.00, RCR = 1,33, FRR = 41 %, PPC = 44 trip. The arrest business with 6 GT troll line ship is more profitable and worthy to continue than the 5 GT troll line ship. The problem are the difficult selling the fishing result, there’s no insurance for the worker, the difficult in administration process, decrease of fish quantity in the sea, and the high fuel price.Key Word : Troll Line, Investation, Income, Worthiness Business, Muara Port
