Abstract

 ABSTRACT This Research  was conducted in Mei 2017 in the Beach Cermin, Perbaungan Sub-District, Serdang Bedagai District, North Sumatera Province. The method used in this research is survey method. The purpose of this research is to knowing the tourism activies to the coastal community economy and to know the impact of tourism activities to the coastal community social. Based on the results of research that has been conducted on the existing activities in Beach Cermin is the presence of toilet guards. For the activities in the economy is the coastal community mirrors provide leasing of facilities on the beach, such as game rental, swimming tire rental, and tent rental for a place to relax, and for activities in the existing social Beach Mirror is the appearance of art every Saturday.Keywords: impact, tourism, Serdang Bedagai district

Abstract

Social capital is the ability of a fisherman or fishermen group who work together to build a network to achieve the common goals in improving the quality of life that includes trust, institutions and social networks. This research is about social capital that is formed on fishermen group in Bagan Deli Village, Medan Belawan Sub-district, Medan city, North Sumatera Province. The method used in this research is case study by in-depth interview, observation and documentation study which is analyzed qualitative descriptive.The results showed that the existence of social capital in the group of fishermen Berkah Bahari can be seen through the dimensions of bonding, bridging and linking. Berkah Bahari fishermen groups have forms of social capital such as trust/trusting relationships, institutions, and good social networks in the level of individuals / members within the group or outside the group. The most dominant form of social capital in the Berkah Bahari fishermen group and fellow fishermen other than the Berkah Bahari fishermen group is the relation of mutual trust and social network compared by the relatively low institutions.Keywords: social capital, fisher group,Berkah Bahari, Bagan Deli

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted in February 2020 at Perawang Market, Tualang Sub-District, Siak Regency.The purpose of this study is to determine the social forms that exist between fresh fish traders, suppliers and buyers in the Perawang Market and to find out how social capital continues to occur among fresh fish traders in the Perawang Market. The method used in this study is the census method with a qualitative descriptive approach. The population in this study was 16 informants.From the results of the study, obtained a form of social networking formed between fish traders who work together and help each other by giving each other information about fish. Norms in buying and determining prices are formed personally. Trust given by traders to buyers because of the closeness, honesty and getting to know each other between traders and buyers. To maintain the social capital of fresh fish traders, fresh fish traders continue to maintain a sense of unity and kinship between fellow traders, buyers, and suppliers / agents of fish.Keywords: Social capital, Traders, Markets, Networks, Norms, Trust

Abstract

This Study was conducted in February 2017,located in The Teratak Buluh village subdistrict Siak Hulu District Kampar Riau Province, The purpose of this study was determine the people perception of fish Farming in cages and determine the people perception of fish farming in cages and determine the people perception of enchancement in come of fish farming in cages.Methods used in research is survey method. The determination of the respondents was connducted by census of 17 people. Analysis of the data used are descriptive analysis.The results of the study explained that the perception of the community on the waters in the Teratak Buluh village that the potential of village waters in good condition for business development. Based on the analysis of the 60% of people assessed well that the potential of waater in The Teratak Buluh village for the development of aquaqulture business. People’s perception on fish cultivation in cages 60% have good/positive perception.Based on the perception,the potential of waters in the village of Teratak Buluh supports the development of fish cultivation business in cages.Keywords:Perception,The people,Teratak Buluh

Abstract

The research was conducted on July 10 to 30 2015 in the Village of Kuok Subdistrict of kuok Kampar Regency Riau Province. The research was aimed to know characteristics, the level of motivation and the things that cause Fish Farmer doing the revenue sharing system in fish cultivation. This research used the survey method, that come down to the observation and data collection. It was the research that characteristicts of Fish Farmer in different Villages of Kuok, this matter seen by level of education, business experience Fish Farmer and amount of dependents. That level of motivation Fish Farmer in doing cultivation is generally high, this matter seen by 25 responden with many as 20 lives indicator views, 19 expectations and 19 convictions. While the reason for application of the revenue sharing system in general is to get capital aid (feed,  seed and land marketing easy and not at risk). Keywords :Motivation, Fish Farmer, Cultivation Sharing Revenue

Abstract

This research was conducted on 26 January to 16 February 2016 in Seberang Taluk village of Kuantan Tengah Subdistrict at Kuantan Singingi Regency in Riau Province. Its was aimed to  identify the factor of changes in household livelihood of fishermen in Indragiri watershead and to assess the changes of household livelihood of fishermen in Indragiri watershead as well as to determine the relationship of the factors influencing the change of livelihood. The method used by survey methods, households have changed fisherman fishing livelihoods by seeking in sectors other than fisheries. Based on the research results can be explained that fishermen livelihoods changes caused by internal factors and exsternal. The change of which occurred significantly from the preparatory phase to the growth phase, Characteristics with real changes of fishermen household the livelihoods are age which have relationship with income and with the job opportunities,  are age which have relationship relationships  with sanitation, and hygiene, and the outpouring of working  hours relationships with food consumption.

Abstract

This research was conducted on September 7-29, 2020 in Tapanuli Tengah Regency NorthSumatra Province. The purpose of this study was to determine the current minapolitanconditions in the coastal area of Tapanuli Tengah Regency North Sumatra Province,analyzing the development of the Minapolitan program that has been implemented as aneffort to develop aquaculture business in the coastal area of Tapanuli Tengah Regency, andthe next objective to analyze local government policies in supporting the Minapolitanprogram as an effort to develop fisheries cultivation in the coastal areas of TapanuliTengah Regency. The research method used by the author is a survey method. The results of the study was explained that the Minapolitan condition continues to run andis one of the priority programs of the local government in advancing the marine andfisheries sector in Tapanuli Tengah Regency until now. The development of theMinapolitan program that has been implemented has been effective since 2014 and is stillongoing today. And the result of the third research is that there are three sectors ofaquaculture that participate as a form of direct support from the Regional Government inthe success of the Minapolitan program in the coastal area of Tapanuli Tengah Regency.Among other things the first is the development of freshwater fish cultivation, secondly thedevelopment of brackish water aquaculture business, and third namely the development ofseawater aquaculture business.

Abstract

The research was conducted in Panglima Raja Village ConcongSubdistrict Indragiri Hilir Regency of Riau Province. It was aimed to identify oflocal wisdom had been done in society of Panglima Raja Village. The researchwas done by case study or grounded research method.The result of research that there are local wisdom in exploiting andconserve coastal zone resources in Panglima Raja Village. Local wisdom thatidentified in exploiting of coastal zone resources in Panglima Raja are 1) decidedthe timing, weather, season in doing fishing 2) to develop traditional fishing gearin catch and collect the shell 3) decide the cutting zone the mangrove and thenlocal wisdom to conserve there are 1) the ceremony to honor the sea 2)commitment not to catch and kill the dolphin 3) believe there are secret zone 4)commitment not to throw the rubbish into the sea 5) commitment not to use ofsongko mesin in collecting the shell 6) guard the mangrove in coastal zone.

Abstract

This artikel aimed to explain and analysis about model of communication fisheriesdevelopment in Duano Community in Riau Province, the advantage of this paperis to give information about how to compile the policy of fisheries development inRiau Province. The analysis model of communication fisheries development isneeded to implementation for the prosperity of fisherman. The Develop of ruralcommunity specially fishermen society needed by the integrity principal andpartisipative approach. this Partisipative approach through effort move grouporganization structures most elementary at the same time with its participation todevelop of them and theirs environment. Integrity principle have a meaning ofvertical and horizontal.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats in marketing smoked tilapia products in Tebing Tinggi Village, and analyze marketing communication strategies for smoked tilapia processing in Tebing Tinggi Village. This research was conducted in February 2021 at Tebing Tinggi Village, Benai District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach because the problems related to humans are fundamentally dependent on observation. The data collected consists of primary and secondary data. Data collection was carried out in this study by interview, observation, and documentation, and for the determination of informants by Snowball Sampling with a total of 9 informants which included 2 village officials, 2 consumers, and 5 smoked tilapia fish processors. Asap Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) processors in Tebing Tinggi Village use the most effective form of communication, using Interpersonal Communication. Furthermore, the marketing communication mix used in Tebing Tinggi Village is Direct Marketing, Promotion, Personal Selling, Advertising and Public Relations.
