Abstract

In the city of Surakarta there is a market that has a different system from the general market. The market is named "Muamalah Market". Established in 2009, this market is slightly different from the market in general because in practice it applies shari'ah elements. Researchers are interested in conducting research related to the mechanism for applying the concept of the Islamic market by using several indicators; Islamic market sunnah, the concept of hisbah, and price regulation. This research is a descriptive qualitative research using the interview method to obtain primary data sources, supported by scientific articles related to the Islamic market. Based on the research results, there are three main points that become the focus of the research, namely: the application of Islamic market indicators or sunnah, the concept of Hisbah or market supervision, and prohibition of price intervention. Based on the results of the analysis above, it can be concluded that the Surakarta Muamalah Market has implemented the three main research points well. Islamic Market indicators, namely: a market similar to a mosque, no private ownership, no tax and rent fees, no claim/booking of a place, no barriers or shops in the market, have been implemented well in Muamalah Market Surakarta. The Surakarta Muamalah Market Coordinator, apart from being the market chairman, also serves as al-muhtasib or market supervisor. In addition, there is no policy of intervention in the price of goods in the Surakarta Muamalah Market. The price of the goods is set based on the agreement between the buyer and seller.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the practice of buying and selling used auto parts, to find out consumer protection in the practice of buying and selling used auto parts, to find out the review of Islamic law in the practice of buying and selling used auto parts at Kliwon Market, Surakarta. The method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative research type. The type of data used in this research is primary and secondary data. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation. Data analysis using qualitative analysis. The results of the research show that the practice of buying and selling in the Klithikan market is identified as gharar qalil. This gharar is still understandable and does not reach buying and selling which is prohibited by sharia.

Abstract

Sharia financial literacy refers to understanding the advantages and disadvantages of financial products and services, which can benefit the financial sector and society. However, research on this topic has needed to be faster to develop, with the Islamic financial literacy index lagging far behind the conventional financial inclusion index. Therefore, it is essential to conduct research that can inform future studies. This study aims to explore the direction of research on Islamic financial literacy by analyzing publications related to Islamic finance using bibliometric methods, VOSviewers, and R-studio applications. This analysis identifies core journals in international publications, researcher productivity, institutional collaboration, and keyword/author development. This finding indicates that Widyastuti, U. has the most publications, while Universiti Teknologi MARA and Universiti Malaya are the most productive universities. Indonesia and Malaysia are the nations with the most published works.

Abstract

Alquran diturunkan dengan Bahasa Arab sehingga membutuhkan ulama yang mampu menjelaskan isinya. Mengkaji secara mandiri tidak jarang justru membuat seseorang salah memahami isi Alquran. Di sisi lain, sumber daya penyuluh agama dan tempat pengajian tafsir tidaklah banyak. Sumber pengajian memang bisa disimak dari berbagai media sosial, akan tetapi warga yang berumur 40 tahun masih banyak yang belum melek teknologi. Adapun para pengemudi ojek online tidak terlalu sempat untuk membuka YouTube dan media sejenis. Radio menjadi solusi paling tepat untuk masyarakat berumur 40 tahun ke atas dan para pengemudi ojek online. Maka dari itu diperlukan upaya pembuatan kajian tafsir melalui media radio agar bisa didengarkan oleh masyarakat dengan segmen tersebut. Upaya tersebut kemudian dijalankan dengan cara mengadakan kajian tafsir terkait sedekah/infak dikarenakan topik tersebut sangat dekat dengan masyarakat. Ayat yang dipilih adalah Surah Al-Baqarah ayat 254-271. Pengajian dilakukan bekerjasama dengan PT. Radio Gema Mentari Surakarta (Mentari FM) yang dilaksanakan selama 10 kali pertemuan. Setiap pertemuan membahas 1 hingga 3 ayat dalam surah Al-Baqarah. Pengajian dilakukan setiap hari Jumat 1 kali dalam 1 minggu. Setiap pertemuan memiliki durasi 30 menit, yaitu dimulai pada pukul 17.00 hingga 17.30 WIB. Hasil dari kegiatan ini didapati bahwa berdasarkan laporan direktur Mentari FM, antusias masyarakat sangat tinggi dan tanggapan masyarakat sangat baik dikarenakan mereka bisa lebih jauh memahami hal-hal terkait sedekah/infak.

Abstract

Kamboja merupakan suatu negara yang masih dalam area Asia Tenggara dan berbentuk kesatuandengan penduduknya secara mayoritas berkeyakinan agama budha (97%). Walaupun demikiandi bagian wilayah kamboja yakni daerah cham mayoritas beragama Islam dengan corak budayamelayu. Di Champ berdiri lembaga-lembaga pendidikan yang berbasis kepada keislamaanyang digunakan masyarakat Muslim Kamboja Khususnya dari ras melayu mendidik anakanaknyaatau generasi sebagai penerus perjuangan Islam masihlah sedikit. Tidak jarang jugamasyarakat kamboja mengirimkan anak-anaknya untuk menempuh pendidikan di Indonesiayang notabenya sebagai Negara Islam yang lebih maju. Walaupun demikian jumlah maysrakatMuslim yang bisa berbahasa Indonesia atau melayu masihlah sedikit dan minim mengingatmereka juga banyak tertarik melanjutkan studi di perguruan tinggi Muhammadiyah di Indonesia.Walaupun demikian mereka mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar bahasa asing yang notabenenyamenggunakan huruf alfabet sebab bahasa kamboja memiliki huruf sendiri yang berbeda denganhuruf alfabet. Oleh sebab itu kami akan melaksanakan pengabdian masyarakat selama 6 bulandi Sekolah Bersepadu Musa-Asiah (SEPAMA) Cambodia yang merupakan satu-satunya sekolahmuslim swasta yang dikelola oleh Yayasan Musa-Asiah Fondation. Pengabdiana masyarakat ini dalam bentuk pendampingan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia menggunakan arab pegon karenadinilai lebih efektif dalam mengajarkan bahasa indonesia sebab sebagai seorang muslim merekasudah dibekali pembelajaran aksara arab sebelum masuk sekolah dasar. Tim pengabdian akanbekerjasama dengan pihak sekolah dalam merumuskan pembelajaran arab pegon yang sesuaidengan jenjang pendidikan. Setelah itu, mahasiswa akan diterjunkan di kamboja selama 6 bulansebagai penutur asing guna mengajarkan dan mencontohkan pembelajaran arab pegon.

Abstract

Objective: The principal objective of this scholarly inquiry is to meticulously examine the ethical implications of artificial intelligence (AI) within the context of Islamic jurisprudence, with a distinct focus on the principles of maqosid al-shari‘ah (the paramount objectives of Islamic law) serving as a moral and legal foundation for the evaluation of AI applications. Theoretical framework: The theoretical foundations of this investigation are derived from Islamic legal and ethical philosophy, specifically the five fundamental values of maqosid al-shari‘ah, safeguarding of faith, life, intellect, lineage, and property employed as evaluative criteria to assess the integration of technology within Muslim societies. Literature review: A diverse array of primary sources, including the Qur’an and Hadith, is meticulously scrutinized alongside contemporary Islamic scholarship that addresses the intersection of ethics and technology. Previous research on Islamic ethics in the digital and biomedical spheres is referenced, elaborated upon, and critically appraised to ensure a contemporary and contextually relevant analysis. Methods: This investigation adopts a qualitative methodology based on an exhaustive literature review. Primary religious texts and secondary academic discourses concerning AI ethics and Islamic law are analyzed through thematic content analysis to develop a normative framework that harmonizes Shariah principles with emerging AI technologies. Results: The findings of this research indicate that while AI offers substantial benefits in areas such as healthcare, education, and governance, it simultaneously presents ethical challenges, including issues related to surveillance, algorithmic bias, and a reduction in human accountability. From an Islamic standpoint, AI should not replace human moral agency but rather enhance it. Justice, accountability, and the welfare of the community must remain of utmost importance in its application. Implications: This study highlights the urgent need for interdisciplinary dialogue between Islamic scholars and technology developers, the promotion of Islamic ethical awareness among Muslim AI practitioners, and the establishment of fatwas and Shariah-compliant regulatory frameworks to ensure the ethical incorporation of AI into Muslim societies. Novelty: This research offers a noteworthy contribution to the burgeoning field of Islamic AI ethics by providing a structured, Shariah-aligned ethical framework for the assessment and guidance of AI technologies. It underscores the adaptability of Islamic jurisprudence in addressing contemporary innovations while remaining steadfastly anchored in enduring ethical principles.

Abstract

This study aims to reinterpret the methodology of the Indonesian Ulema Council's National Sharia Board (DSN-MUI) Fatwa No. 62/2007 on Ju'alah and Fatwa No. 116/2017 on Sharia Electronic Money in the context of the modern digital economy, particularly in dealing with the phenomenon of content fraud on monetisation platforms such as TikTok. Using a qualitative approach, this study employe Islamic legal analysisto assess how the Ju'alah contract can shift from a normative-individual interpretation to a socio-structural understanding. The results of the study show that the reinterpretation of the two fatwas expands the function of the Ju'alah contract into a digital ethical and legal framework that emphasises justice, trust, transparency, and collective responsibility between creators, platforms, and regulators. The integration of Sharia principles with modern technologies such as blockchain, traceability systems, AI transparency, and homomorphic encryption enables the creation of an accountable digital monetisation system that is free from elements of gharar, tadlīs, and maysir. This study also confirms that the implementation of maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah values can form the basis for the establishment of a fair and sustainable digital economic governance system. However, this research is still conceptual and requires further empirical validation through algorithmic audits and the development of Sharia smart contracts. The results of this study are expected to be an important contribution to the development of a digital Islamic economic paradigm that is adaptive to technology, while remaining based on the principles of justice and public benefit.

Abstract

Kemiskinan masih menjadi permasalahan yang serius bagi umat Islam. Pendistribusian zakat yang tepat sasaran seharusnya dapat digunakan untuk memecahkan masalah ekonomi terutama kemiskinan. Zakat selain didistribusikan secara konsumtif dapat dilakukan dengan cara produktif. Zakat produktif dapat digunakan untuk pemberdayaan ekonomi yang berguna untuk mengentaskan kemiskinan. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pemikiran tokoh Islam yang memiliki pemikiran tentang zakat produktif yang berguna untuk pemberdayaan ekonomi diantaranya adalah Yusuf Qardhawi dan Sahal Mahfudh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini memilih sumber data yang berkaitan dengan topik penelitian berdasarkan pemikiran Yusuf Qardhawi dan Sahal Mahfudh dengan membandingkan latar belakang, gagasan pokok, pelaksana, sasaran, batas standar, dan langkah pemberdayaan ekonomi. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa pertama, Yusuf Qardhawi memiliki gagasan diantaranya dengan membagi masalah ekonomi menjadi lima kategori dan mengembaangkan isu yang berkaitan dengan manajemen zakat, menjadikan seseorang, masyarakat dan pemerintah sebagai pelaksana pemberdayaan ekonomi, mendistirbusikan zakat untuk mustahiq zakat dan fakir miskin, dan langkah pemberdayaan ekonomi dilakukan dengan menyampaikan secara teoritis untuk mencapai batas minimal dan maksimal pemenuhan kebutuhan masyarakat. Kedua, Sahal Mahfudh memiliki gagasan diantaranya adalah problem ekonomi dan memperbaiki manajemen zakat, menjadikan seseorang, masyarakat, dan pemerintah sebagai pelaksana pemberdayaan ekonomi, zakat didistribusikan untuk fakir miskin, dan langkah pemberdayaan dilakukan dengan tindakan nyata dan telah berhasil menetapkan batas minimal dan maksimal pemenuhan kebutuhan masyarakat. Ketiga, persamaan dan perbedaan pemikiran Yusuf Qardhawi dan Sahal Mahfudh dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi melalui zakat produktif. Persamaan dan perbedaan pemikiran keduanya terdapat pada latar belakang, gagasan pokok, pelaksana, sasaran, batas standar, dan langkah dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi.
