Abstract

One aspect that needs to be assessed to make better product is usability.  Testing the level of usability on BIMO hand is performed using adapted Southampton Hand Assesment Procedure (SHAP) method. Users are given the task of using prosthetic hand to perform daily activities according to performance measurement rules. Based on the opinion of Jacob Nielsen, the theory used to measure usability are 5 main parameters, i.e: Learnability, Memorability, Efficiency, Satisfaction, and Errors. Testing is done by giving 15 task daily activity to the respondent. After testing, respondents were given USE questionnaires (Usefulness, Satisfaction and Ease of use) as a media for usability assessmentand received suggestions from respondents. Some suggestions were obtained from the respondents after the research was conducted, such as the size of the product, censoric product respond, the suitability shape and weight of product. Based on the percentage of USE questionnaire assessment known Usability Prosthetic hand level tested is in the status of GOOD, this indicates the respondents feel the product is good to use.

Abstract

This paper aims at determining the effect of music and light intensity on heart rate and perceptions of visitors in Industrial Engineering Library, analyzing the performance of users in various treatment conditions and by doing so, providing recommendations for the right combination of treatments to increase concentration and increase the level of relaxation. It proves a better performance of the students when they work in better physical environment design, especially in the library. Based on preliminary studies, it is indicated that the Industrial Engineering Library (IEL) needs re-engineering of the light and sound condition. The library room does not inline with the Head of National Library of Indonesia's rules, number 13 of 2017, about the national standard of college libraries for lighting condition. Besides, about 90.2% of students feel the classical music increases comfort and concentration in reading activities. The research data was collected by recording 24 respondents' heart rate and processed by experimental design using SPSS software. The result provides recommendations from the human physical aspect by selecting the treatment to achieve the highest performance. An additional questionnaire with a Likert scale was disseminated to measure the respondents' perceptions. The results showed that the interaction of 200-600 lux lighting and classical music variables was the best treatment to achieve the highest performance.

Abstract

AbstrakTata letak fasilitas dan peralatan produksi merupakan salah satu faktor yang berperan dalam peningkatan produktifitas perusahaan.Workshop WSSW di PT GMF AeroAsia Tbk.pada awalnya tidak dibangun sebagai fasilitas proses maintanancesehingga terdapat beberapa masalah tata letaksepertijalur gang sebagai tempat produksi dan penyimpanan, jalur gang sempit, tidak dapat menggunakan forklift, dan akses pintu hanya satu. WSSW juga berencana menginvestasikan mesin baru pada proses cutting. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang tata letak yang dapat mengatasi masalah di lantai produksi dengan menggunakan 2 skenario yaitu pemindahan WSSW ke lokasi baru dan menyesuaikan tata letak WSSW di lokasi integrated workshop. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menambahkan luas material dan personil serta pemberian allowance pada perhitungan kebutuhan luas. Kemudian perancangan dilanjutkan dengan membuat activity relationshipchart(ARC). Alternatif layoutdibuat dengan menggunakan BLOCPLAN dan CORELAP. Tata letak kemudian diberi gang dengan luas sesuai jenis material handling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada skenario 1 dan 2, tata letak BLOCPLAN lebih baik dari CORELAPkarena jarak perpindahan material yang lebih kecil dan tidak ada aliran balik.Kata Kunci: Abstract[Title: Facility and LayoutPlanning of Workshop Sewing Using BLOCPLAN and CORELAP Method(Case Study: Cabin Maintanance Unit PT Garuda Maintanance Facility AeroAsia Tbk.)]Facility Layoutand Equipment Design is one of the factors that play a role in increasing company productivity. WSSW Workshop at PT GMF AeroAsia Tbk.was not initially built as a maintenance process facility so there were some layoutproblems such as the alleyusedfor production area and storage, narrow alleyway, not being able to use forklifts, and only one door access. WSSW also plans to invest in new machines in the cutting process. The purpose of this research is to design a layoutthat can solve problems on the production floor using 2 scenarios,moving the WSSW to a new locationand adjusting the layoutof the WSSW at the integrated workshop location. The research was conducted by adding material and personnel area as well as providing allowances for the calculation of area requirementsto the new layout. Then the design is continued by making an activity relationship chart (ARC).Alternative layouts are made using BLOCPLAN and CORELAP. The layoutisthen given an alley with an area according to the type of material handling. The results show that in scenarios 1 and 2, the BLOCPLAN layoutis betterthan CORELAP because the material transfer distance is smaller and there is no backflow

Abstract

AbstrakFaktor manusia memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam peningkatan angka kecelakaan dan pelanggaran lalu lintas seperti perilaku mengemudi dan distraksi pengemudi. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan beberapa penelitian sebelumnya yang menemukan bahwapengemudi yang terdistraksi dari tugas utama mengemudi menjadi penyebab berkurangnya fokuspengemudi dan dapat mengakibatkan terjadinya penyimpangan perilaku selama berkendara.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui distraksi pengemudi Indonesia dan dampaknya pada perilaku mengemudiyang diukur menggunakanSDDQ (Susceptibility to Driver Distraction Questionnaire) danDBQ (Driver Behavior Questionnaire). Sebanyak 332responden terlibatdalam penelitian dan akan dibedakan berdasarkan 3 kelompok usia usia(17-24 tahun; 25-44 tahun; 45-64 tahun) dan jenis kelamin.Akan dilihat perbedaan distraksi pengemudi terhadap perilaku pengemudi berdasarkan usiadan jenis kelamin, serta bagaimana pengaruh dari distraksi pengemudi terhadap perilaku menyimpang selama berkendara.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbedaan kelompok usia dan jenis kelamin mempengaruhi keterlibatan pengemudi dalam distraksi dan perilaku mengemudi. Hasil juga menunjukkan bahwa pengemudi yang sering terlibat dalam distraksi cenderungmemiliki perilaku mengemudi yang berbahaya.Kata kunci:Abstract[The Effect of Gender Differences on Distraction and DrivingBehavior in Indonesia]Human factors have a significant role in the increasing incidence of traffic accidents and infractions such as driving behavior and driver attention.. Latest studies have shown that engaging with distraction while driving will positively affect the driver’sattention and could lead to aberrantdriving behavior.This study aims to explore the Indonesian driver distraction and its effect on their driving behaviorwhich is measured using SDDQ (Susceptibility to Driver Distraction Questionnaire) and DBQ (Driver Behavior Questionnaire). A total of 332 participantswhich involved in this study will be divided intothreedifferent age groups (17-24 years old; 25-44 years old; and 45-64 years old) and theirgender.The impact of driver distraction on driver behavior will be examined based on age and gender, along with the driver distraction effect on their risky behavior. The result showsthat the drivers' attention and behavior were influenced by their age and gender. This research also discovered that drivers who are regularly distracted while driving are more likely to engage in unsafe driving behavior.

Abstract

Fashion merupakan salah satu industri penting di dunia yang memberikan sumbangan signifikan bagi perekonomian global. Industri Fashion merupakan suatu bisnis yang dinamis dengan ketidakpastian permintaan yang disebabkan oleh banyaknya variasi gaya dan selera konsumen. Ritel merupakan serangkaian kegiatan usaha untuk memberikan nilai tambah pada produk dan jasa yang dijual kepada pelanggan untuk kepentingan pribadi atau keluarga. Robinson (Ramayana) merupakan salah satu ritel besar dengan total 119 gerai tersebar di berbagai wilayah Indonesia. Sejak tahun 2016 terjadi penurunan tingkat konsumsi masyarakat yang berlanjut hingga tahun 2017 akibat lesunya ekonomi. Perekonomian Indonesia membaik pada tahun 2017 dengan pertumbuhan sebesar 5,1% karena meningkatnya investasi serta ekspor namun hal tersebut tetap tidak berpengaruh terhadap kembalinya tingkat konsumsi masyarakat. Hal ini dipengaruhi faktor tarif listrik yang signifikan menutupi dampak dari lajunya pertumbuhan pendapatan segmen konsumen menengah ke bawah. Menyadari pentingnya peran konsumen dalam jalannya usaha perusahaan dan untuk menjaga hubungan jangka panjang dengan konsumen dalam artian konsumen sudi melakukan transaksi ulang, organisasi bisnis pada dinamika pasar sekarang ini semakin menjadi customer oriented. Penting bagi perusahaan untuk mengevaluasi kualitas pelayanannya sendiri sekaligus mempelajari perilaku konsumen dan faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi konsumen untuk berpindah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Push, Pull, Mooring Factors yang melihat pengaruh signifikan faktor pendorong, penarik, dan penambat terhadap keinginan berpindah pelanggan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Faktor Pull dan Mooring memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keinginan berpindah pelanggan dan Faktor Mooring memoderasi hubungan Faktor Pull dengan keinginan berpindah secara signifikan. AbstractFashion is one of the most important industry which contributes a great impact on the global economy. Fashion Industry is a very dynamic business with uncertain demand which caused by the variances in style, trend, and the consumer’s taste. Retail is a series of activity and attempt to add value on a product or service sold to customer for individual or family purpose. Robinson (Ramayana) is one of a big player in Indonesian retail business with the total of 119 outlets all around Indonesia. There has been a decline going on among Indonesian customer in their consumption level since 2016 which still continue through 2017 caused by the sluggish economy. It gets better by 2017 and there’s a 5,1% growth in Indonesia’s Economy but by then there’s no significant impact to improve the customer’s consumption back. Recognizing the importance of customer’s role in the business and to keep a long term relationship with them, many company become more customer oriented. It’s important for the company to evaluate their service quality and learn about the customer behavior and the factors that affect their switching decision. The method used in this research is Push, Pull, and Mooring Factors that learns about the significant of effects of Push Factor, Pull Factors, and Mooring Factors toward a customer’s switching decision. The result of this research shows that Pull and Mooring Factors have significant impact on Customer’s Switching Intention and The Mooring Factors moderates the relations between Pull Factors and Switching Intention.

Abstract

Teknologi di bidang transportasi semakin berkembang dan mendorong hadirnya alat transportasi online sepeda motor. Seiring maraknya keberadaan ojek online, muncul permasalahan yang terjadi di kalangan pengemudi yang menunjukkan masih rendahnya persepsi akan keselamatan berkendara. Berdasarkan data BPS pada tahun 2017, jumlah kecelakaan yang terjadi di Indonesia mencapai 103.228 peristiwa dan sepeda motor memiliki persentasi tertinggi yang penyebab utamanya adalah perilaku pengemudi. Perilaku pengemudi dalam hal keselamatan berkendara berhubungan erat dengan iklim keselamatan yang dirasakannya dalam bekerja. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diawali dengan pemetaan iklim keselamatan menggunakan enam variabel dalam Safety Climate Questionnaire-Modified for Online Drivers (SCQ-MOD), yaitu komunikasi dan prosedur, tekanan pekerjaan, komitmen perusahaan, hubungan, pelatihan pengemudi, dan peraturan keselamatan. Selain itu akan dilihat pula gambaran iklim keselamatan berdasarkan karakteristik responden. Hasil pemetaan iklim keselamatan menunjukkan bahwa prioritas perlu diberikan pada variabel tekanan pekerjaan, komitmen perusahaan, dan hubungan pekerja dengan pemberi kerja. Terakhir, diberikan rekomendasi kegiatan mengemudi yang mengutamakan keselamatan dalam bentuk safety riding, guna meningkatkan iklim keselamatan, terutama pada variabel prioritas tersebut.
