Abstract

This study is intended to find the best results and HCl concentration in making chitosan skin crust (Portunus pelagicus). The research method used Randomized Block Design with two factors consisting of three levels. The first factor were particle sizes (100, 80 and 60 mesh) and the second facto were HCl concentrations (1, 1.25 and 1.5M) in the demineralization process with 2 replications so that there are 18 units of experiment. Observations included yield, water content, ash content and deacetylation degree. The results showed that the optimum condition for chitosan production is particle size 60 mesh and HCl concentration 1.5 M with yield 17.20%, water content 4.23% ash content 20.83% and deacetylation degree of 65%. The 60 mesh particle size has given optimal results and the higher the concentration of HCl used is more effective in reducing ash content.

Abstract

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has become a global pandemic to date. Some studies reported gastrointestinal tract (GIT) bleeding occurs in several patients hospitalized with COVID-19. Medications known to be associated with an increased risk of GIT bleeding were not associated with GIT bleeding in COVID-19 patients. Objectives: To examined the risk of gastrointestinal tract (GIT) bleeding in COVID-19 patients based on antiviral drugs at Dr. M. Djamil General Hospital Padang. Methods: A nested cohort study was conducted in Dr. M. Djamil General Hospital Padang from May until October 2021. All COVID-19 patients who received antiviral drugs with GIT bleeding with onset days 0 - 7 were included. COVID-19 was confirmed by RT-PCR swab. Data entry and analysis were conducted by computerized. Results: 30 patients were involved in this study. 43,3% COVID-19 Moderate stage and 56,7% Severe stage. 63,3% were treated with remdesivir and 36,7% were treated with favipiravir. Onset on GIT tract bleeding at day 4 (23,3%), day 5 (26.7%), day 6 (30%), and day 7 (20%). The Chi-square test to determine the factors associated with GIT bleeding in COVID-19 patients including COVID-19 severity, type of antiviral drugs, anticoagulant, and corticosteroid revealed that none of all potential factors above related to GI bleeding. Conclusion: The type of antiviral drugs was not related to GIT bleeding in COVID-19 patients.Keywords: antiviral drugs,  COVID-19, gastrointestinal tract bleeding

Abstract

Intellectual capital (IC) is a platform for companies to be more competitive. The principal purpose of this research is to investigate relationship between Intellectual Capital (VAICTM) and stock price through financial performance at manufacturing companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2008-2012. This research is conducted by testing effect of VAICTM as independent variable to stock price as dependent variable, and financial performance (ROE and EPS) as intervening variable. Samples of this research are annual report and financial statements for manufacturing companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2008-2012. Samples were selected by using purposive sampling method and 372 manufacturing companies were able to fulfill the criteria used as sample. The research data is analyzed using path analysis method. The results of regression analysis show that VAICTM have no effect on ROEand EPS. ROE has no effect on stock price and EPS has an effect on stock price. This research also finds that VAICTM has no effect to stock price. The last result is ROE and EPS not a mediator variable because not able to mediate the relationship between VAICTM and stock price.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata atau KKN adalah sebuah program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di daerah tertentu yang berguna untuk membantu masyarakat dalam bidang fisik maupun nonfisik. Desa Tapos 2 kecamatan Tenjolaya Bogor merupakan salah satu wilayah yang dipilih dan ditunjuk LPPM untuk menjadi tempat menjalankan program kuliah kerja nyata yang bertemakan tematik terintegrasi. Banyaknya masyarakat Desa Tapos 2 yang memandang bahwa pendidikan itu merupakan sesuatu yang mahal dan tidak harus dilanjutkan hingga ke tingkat yang lebih tinggi seperti perguruan tinggi, Hal itu berdampak pada sedikitnya pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam menunjang ekonomi Desa Tapos 2. Khususnya untuk ibu-ibu rumah tangga yang tidak memiliki usaha sampingan. Kemudian akhirnya kami membuat penyuluhan dan pelatihan UMKM. Maka dari itu kami mencetuskan sebuah tema “Melaksanakan Program Kerja Pendidikan Dan Pelatihan Berdasarkan Dengan Kebutuhan Masyarakat di Desa Tapos 2” yang diharapkan dapat mengatasi masalah desa sedikit demi sedikit
