Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the effect of the application of guided inquiry model based on video learning on improving student learning outcomes. (2) find out whether students' chemistry learning outcomes using instructional video media are higher than students' chemistry learning outcomes taught using powerpoint media. This research was conducted in November-December 2021 at SMA N 1 Sunggal involving experimental class I and experimental class II. The two classes were given different treatment, the experimental class I was given learning using a guided inquiry model and learning videos, the experimental class II was given learning using a guided inquiry model and powerpoint. This research is a quasi-experimental research design with the Nonequivalent control group design model. From the results of the study, the average pretest value of the experimental class I was 43.47 and the average value of the experimental class II was 43.19. After being given treatment, the two classes were then given a posttest to determine learning outcomes, the average posttest score for the experimental class I was 83.33 and the experimental class II was 79.16. The results showed that both classes experienced an increase in learning outcomes, the experimental class I experienced an increase in the value of 39.86 and the experimental class II by 35.19. The N-Gain data for the experimental class I was 71% and the experimental class II was 64%. It can be concluded that the guided inquiry model and learning video media can have an influence on student learning outcomes in the form of increasing learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) find out whether the increase in student learning outcomes with the application of cooperative-based e-modules of the NHT type is higher than the learning of NHT chemistry with student reference teaching materials. (2) find out whether there is an effect of the application of e-modules based on cooperative types of chemistry. NHT on student learning outcomes. This research was carried out at the Harapan Baru Private High School Medan in November-December 2021. From the results of the study, the average pretest score for the experimental class was 36 and the control was 28,167. While the posttest average value of the experimental class was 82,667 and the control class was 77.5. The chemical normalized N-Gain value of the experimental class students was higher than the control class, namely 0.7254> 0.685 or based on the N-Gain percentage, which was 72.54% for the experimental class and 68.5% for the control class. The difference from the increase in learning outcomes from the two classes, namely 4.09%, it can be said that the application of the NHT cooperative-based chemistry e-module with student reference learning media on chemistry. In the hypothesis test, namely the t-test of one party (right side) at a significance level of 0.05, it is obtained that t_count > t_table which is 3,004> 2,002 then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus, it can be said that there is an effect of applying cooperative-based chemistry e-modules on student chemistry learning outcomes in chemistry.

The learning outcomes of students taught by the guided inquiry were higher than those taught by Direct Instruction. This research was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Ronggurnihuta, Samosir Regency. This research is quasi-experimental research (Quasi-Experimental Design), which consists of an experimental class with a Guided Inquired learning model and a control class with Direct Instruction. The data is processed descriptively and quantitatively analyzed using the SPSS 20 for the windows program. 34.17, and the average value of the Posttest is 82.36. While in the control class, the average value of the pretest was 25.42, and the post-test value was 76.94. From the data processing and analysis, it was obtained that the experimental class learning outcomes with N-Gain increased by 74.28% (in the high category) and the control class with N-Gain by 69.81% (in the medium category). It can be concluded that the guided inquiry learning model assisted by video learning is better and more effective in improving student learning outcomes than the Direct Instruction model.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of implementing problem-based e-Modules on student motivation and learning outcomes in colloid system material in class XI SMA Negeri 9 Medan. This research method is descriptive quantitative with taking samples from the population by random sampling as many as 60 students as samples (30 students in class XI-2 as experiments and 30 students in class XI-1 as controls). Data was collected through tests and questionnaires, then analyzed using SPSS 24 for Windows with a one-party t-test. The results of the analysis show that students' chemistry learning motivation increased significantly with the implementation of the e-Module, with the average score of the experimental class (71.33%) being higher than the control class (49.00%). This is supported by the results of the one-party t-test which shows a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. Apart from that, there is a significant influence on students' chemistry learning outcomes, with the experimental class post-test score (79.67) being higher than the control class (74.5) and the one-tailed t-test significance value of 0.031 < 0.05 . Research also shows a positive correlation between motivation and student learning outcomes with a sig value of 0.026 < 0.05, confirming that the application of problem-based e-Modules contributes to improving student chemistry learning outcomes in colloidal systems material.

Abstract

The discovery learning model is learning model that is student-centered. This research aims to determine the effect of implementing discovery learning assisted by e-modules on creativity and improving student learning outcomes. The sample was selected by purposive sampling experimental student (with DL assisted by e-modules) and 32 control students (conventional learning). The research carried out by administering a pre-test, then a post-test. Data is processed qualitatively and quantitatively statistics. Results obtained: average creativity of experimental class was 80.2 and the control class 72.3 The N-gain value for the experimental class was 0.712 or an increase in learning outcomes of 71.20% (high), while the control class was 0.60 or an increase in learning outcomes of 60.0% (medium). The correlation between creativity and increased learning outcomes obtained at 0.467 with a determination index of 21%. Learning with DL assisted by e-modules has an effect on creativity and improving student chemistry learning outcomes on reaction rate material.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using Android-based Smart App Creator media with the STAD type cooperative learning model on students' learning outcomes and interest in chemical bonding material. The research was carried out from September to December 2023 at SMA Negeri 1 Silima Pungga-Pungga. This research uses a test instrument in the form of multiplechoice questions with 20 questions and a non-test in the form of a learning interest questionnaire with 30 statements. The sampling technique used in this research is random sampling, namely random sampling. The research sample was students in classes X-1 and X-6, totaling 36 people in each class. Hypothesis I test uses the right-sided t-test with the research results obtained by the value tcount > ttable, namely 5,36 > 1,666. Hypothesis II test uses the right-sided t-test with the research results obtained tcount > ttable, namely 11,57 > 1,666. Hypothesis Test III uses a correlation formula with the research results obtained rcount > rtable, namely 0,547 > 0,339. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on students' learning outcomes and interest in learning using Android-based Smart App Creator media with the STAD type cooperative learning model on chemical bond material and there is a relationship between students' learning interest and student learning outcomes taught using the media. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how problem-based online modules affect students' learning results in acid-base chemistry and to determine the correlation of e-modules with motivation and student learning in acid-base materials at SMA Negeri 11 Medan. This research took a sample consisting of 1 group, namely the experimental group in class XI MIPA 6. Tests for normality, homogeneity, hypothesis, and correlation are used in data gathering procedures. After testing, the prerequisite is that the experimental data is normally distributed, for the homogeneous test the experimental class is homogeneous. To test the hypothesis, test is used One Sample T Test, and to test the correlation test is used Product Moment then the data results are obtained for the value hypothesis tcount > ttable, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected with the pret-test value in the experimental class, namely X and the post-test value in the experimental class, namely X, correlation test rcount > rtable, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The findings indicated that learning results were different before and after receiving media therapy in the form of problem-based e-modules. Additionally, the relationship between students' motivation and the chemistry learning results in problem-based e-modules.
