Abstract

Dalam dunia transportasi perairan, perahu wisata telah memainkan peran penting dalam memberikan pengalaman yang tak terlupakan kepada para wisatawan. Namun, model konvensional penggerak perahu, baik yang mengandalkan mesin ketinting maupun dayung, telah menghadirkan tantangan signifikan terkait efisiensi energi dan dampak lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan memperkenalkan solusi baru yang revolusioner: sistem penggerak perahu berbasis Solar Cell yang ramah lingkungan, ditunjang dengan aplikasi pemantauan mobile. Dalam memenuhi tujuan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan terintegrasi teknologi modern, dengan penerapan Solar Cell yang terhubung dengan sistem motor listrik DC sebagai penggerak utama perahu. Selain itu, penerapan sistem pemantauan baterai secara real-time dengan menggunakan mikrokontroler NodeMCU ESP32 dan sensor PZEM-017. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem propulsi berbasis sel surya pada kapal tersebut memungkinkan kapal tersebut melaju sejauh 2 kilometer dengan tegangan baterai sekitar 1,55 volt. Efisiensi energi sistem ini telah menunjukkan secara nyata bahwa pilihan yang berkelanjutan dan efektif untuk penggerak perahu adalah pilihan yang bermanfaat secara ekologis. Penelitian ini telah membuka jalan menuju masa depan yang lebih hijau, lebih efektif, dan lebih berkelanjutan dengan mengungkapkan solusi penggerak kapal berbasis sel surya dengan sistem pemantauan bergerak. Dengan pengembangan ini, penelitian ini telah memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap kemajuan sektor pariwisata dan pelestarian lingkungan.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the superhydrophobic performance of silica and the effect of sonification (ultrasonically dip coating) on the effectiveness of coatings on iron metal in corrosive solutions of 15% HCl (v/v) and 3.5% NaCl (w/v). This research utilizes ultrasonic waves to disperse superhydrophobic silica and paint into a homogeneous mixture and applies this mixture as a protective coating material on the surface of iron metal with the help of ultrasonic waves with the aim of increasing its ability to inhibit iron metal corrosion. The main material used in this research is Sinabung volcanic ash-based silica which was synthesized using the sol-gel method. The addition of superhydrophobic silica material to the paint was carried out by dispersing (0; 0.6; 1.2; 1.8) g with 10 mL of paint using an ultrasonic homogenizer for 15 minutes. The corrosion test was carried out by immersing the sample in a corrosive solution for 96 hours. As a result, sonification (ultrasonically dip coating) and variation in superhydrophobic silica composition are shown to affect the corrosion resistance of ultrasonic superhydrophobic silica coatings on iron surfaces. As a result of the lowest corrosion rates in each solution, 64.51 mpy (HCl 15%) and 2.63 mpy (NaCl 3.5%) were achieved. Invariant superhydrophobic silica compositions of 1.8:10g/mL showed the highest inhibitory effectiveness of 83.40% (HCl 15%) and 93.75% (NaCl 3.5%).

Abstract

: This study aims to determine the effect of the Stad Type Cooperative learning model assisted by video media on student learning outcomes on reaction rate material in high school.  This research was conducted with a quasi-experimental method of two group pretes-posttes design. The sampling technique used random sampling technique. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely XI-IPA1 and XI-IPA2 classes, each consisting of 31 students. Class XI-IPA1 was the experimental class taught using the stad type cooperative learning model. While class XI-IPA2 was the control class taught with conventional learning. The research instruments used were non-test and test. The test instrument was used to determine the knowledge of students in the cognitive domain, as many as 20 items with four choices that have been tested for feasibility. The non-test instrument used is a questionnaire to measure student learning independence.  The pretest and post-test data of student learning outcomes in the experimental class were 40.5 and 84.5 while the control class data were 40.7 and 67.5. The percentage increase in n-Gain of student learning outcomes in the experimental class was 75% with a high category and the control class was 47% respectively with a medium category. Meanwhile, the percentage increase in N-gain of student learning independence in the experimental and control classes was 71% and 51% in the high and medium categories. There is a positive correlation between student learning independence and student learning outcomes, namely 0.635 with a moderate category.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using Android-based Smart App Creator media with the STAD type cooperative learning model on students' learning outcomes and interest in chemical bonding material. The research was carried out from September to December 2023 at SMA Negeri 1 Silima Pungga-Pungga. This research uses a test instrument in the form of multiplechoice questions with 20 questions and a non-test in the form of a learning interest questionnaire with 30 statements. The sampling technique used in this research is random sampling, namely random sampling. The research sample was students in classes X-1 and X-6, totaling 36 people in each class. Hypothesis I test uses the right-sided t-test with the research results obtained by the value tcount > ttable, namely 5,36 > 1,666. Hypothesis II test uses the right-sided t-test with the research results obtained tcount > ttable, namely 11,57 > 1,666. Hypothesis Test III uses a correlation formula with the research results obtained rcount > rtable, namely 0,547 > 0,339. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on students' learning outcomes and interest in learning using Android-based Smart App Creator media with the STAD type cooperative learning model on chemical bond material and there is a relationship between students' learning interest and student learning outcomes taught using the media. Abstract

Buah naga dan salak merupakan salah satu jenis buah yang sangat mudah ditemukan di Kelurahan Karang Joang, namun begitu, jumlahnya yang sangat banyak mengakibatkan harganya menjadi turun dan hasil buahnya pun tidak bertahan lama. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan pengolahan yang lebih inovatif agar buah naga dan salak bisa memiliki harga jual yang lebih tinggi dan lebih awet, yaitu dengan dibuat menjadi olahan roll cake. Olahan ini sangat mudah untuk dibuat khususnya bagi kalangan ibu-ibu rumah tangga, sehingga bisa menaikkan perekonomian mereka. Tujuan dari pelatihan dan pendampingan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan ketrampilan dalam pembuatan Roll cake dari buah naga dan salak. Hasil dari pelatihan ini, para peserta pelatihan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan ketrampilan dalam pembuatan Roll cake dari buah naga dan salak yang nantinya dapat digunakan sebagi peluang usaha. Kesimpulannya adalah pelatihan ini sudah berhasil membantu meningkatkan pemahaman dan ketrampilan dalam pembuatan Roll cake dari buah naga dan salak.

Abstract

Glamping (Glamour Camping) at Dinsy LSB (Lamaru Sunrise Beach) in Lamaru offers a camping experience that surpasses standard comfort levels by providing amenities akin to typical lodging, thereby allowing tourists to camp comfortably. However, in Balikpapan, glamping has become a highly popular tourist attraction and accommodation, with many entrepreneurs competing to establish their own glamping sites. This poses a threat if Dinsy glamping fails to implement an effective promotional strategy. This study aims to optimize the promotional strategy using SWOT analysis, employing a qualitative research method that includes observation, interviews, and surveys to obtain primary and secondary data. In the SWOT analysis, IFAS (Internal Factor Analysis Summary) and EFAS (External Factor Analysis Summary) are determined, and the results are then incorporated into a SWOT diagram. Subsequently, a SWOT Matrix is developed to produce several strategic alternatives. The final step is to determine the most effective strategy through the quadrants resulting from the IFAS and EFAS analysis. The results of the promotional strategy analysis using SWOT indicate that it falls within quadrant 1, or the SWOT matrix is situated in the SO (Strengths and Opportunities) strategy. The SO strategy for Dinsy glamping involves promotional efforts that have not been fully optimized, necessitating the optimal utilization of existing strengths and the exploitation of opportunities.

Abstract

Fenomena stunting merupakan fenomena Dimana kondisi gagal tumbuh pada anak yang disebabkan yang diakibatkan oleh banyak factor. Stunting pada anak pada dasarnya tidak hanya disebabkan oleh asupan gizi yang memadai, namun fator seperti pernikahan dini dan pola asuh orang tua sesunguhnya memilik peran dalam terjadinya stunting pada anak. Kondisi ini tentu menjadi masalah yang serius yang dihadapi Masyarakat dan pemerintah dalam mengkaji pola asuh orang tua dan menekan pernikahan dini. Oleh sebab itu penting untuk melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut tentang pengaruh pola suh dan pernikahan dini terhadap stunting pada anak. Penelitian tentang stunting telah banyak dilakukan namun penelitian stunting yang dikaitkan dengan pola asuh dan stunting masih sangat terbatas diteliti sehingga, penelitian ini sangatlah penting dilakukan. Penelitian ini dilaksankan di Kota Balikpapan yang melibatkan masyarakat umum dan komunitas peduli anak di Kota Balikpapan. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling untuk mengetahui pengaruh langsung antar variable. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pernikahan dini perpengaruh terhadap stunting pada anak dengan nilai P value 0.000. selain itu pola asuh juga berpenagruh secara langsung terhadap stunting pada anak dengan nilai P value 0.015. dengan demikian pola asuh dan pernikahan dini secara signifikan memilki pengaruh terhadap terjadinya stunting pada anak. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa stunting pada anak tidak hanya di sebabkan oleh asupan gizi saja namun ada factor lain yang membuat asupana gizi pada anak tidak terjaga dengan baik. Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu menjadi penegetahuan penting bagi Masyarakat tentang factor terjadinya stunting pada anak dan menajdi dasar pemerintah dan Masyarakat untuk menanggulangi stunting pada masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of Ni-Cr electroplating on wettability characteristics and pitting corrosion resistance of 316L stainless steel in 0.9% NaCl infusion media. The electroplating process consisted of a nickel base coating for 15 minutes, followed by chromium plating with durations ranging from 10 to 22.5 minutes. Contact angle measurements showed that Ni-Cr coating increased the contact angle from 71.25° to 86.77°, indicating a surface transformation from hydrophilic to more hydrophobic. This increase in contact angle demonstrates the effectiveness of Ni-Cr plating in enhancing the material’s resistance to liquid penetration, a critical property for biomedical applications. Corrosion tests revealed a reduction in pit count and depth after plating, suggesting a significant improvement in resistance to localised corrosion. These findings indicate that Ni-Cr electroplating significantly improves pitting corrosion resistance. This technique can be implemented to enhance the durability of 316L-based implant materials in corrosive body environments, particularly in applications where long-term biocompatibility and surface stability are essential.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of electronic student worksheets (e-SWS) based on Problem-Based Learning assisted by interactive comic media on the material of reaction rate and student responses, and teachers using electronic student worksheets (e-SWS) based on Problem-Based Learning assisted by interactive comic media on the material of reaction rate. This study is a research and development (RD) project utilizing the ADDIE development model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation), focusing on the implementation stage, including field trials. The study results were obtained with an average material validation of 75 percent and an average media expert validation of 89.06 percent; through these data, the results of product validation from material and media experts were 82.03 percent, with a very valid category and feasible to use. In the acquisition of field trial data, the average student response was 82.72 percent, with a very positive category for use, and the results of teacher responses were obtained at 96.73 percent, with a very positive category. So, electronic student worksheets (e-SWS) based on Problem-Based Learning, assisted by interactive comic media on reaction rate material, are feasible. They can be used as teaching materials in the learning process.

Abstract

Government regulations and policies on teacher quality and competence are increasing. Teachers are expected to be more innovative in carrying out their teaching duties. However, teacher readiness to produce scientific work is still insufficient. Therefore, community service activities are held related to scientific writing training for teachers. Participants in the program were teachers and staff from SMK Migas Balikpapan. This training activity aims to: improve professionalism, inspire teachers to conduct research, and experiment with new teaching methods. As a result of this practice, the teacher's understanding of how to create and publish scientific writing improves. It can help teachers establish in their careers and contribute to the dissemination of information throughout the educational community.
