Abstract

Agricultural Extension agents must acquire certain competencies so as to perform well in doing their jobs. Competencies were the combination of knowledge, skills and abilities. Competencies both had intellectual as well as practical dimensions that were served as the bases of the agents’ professional expertise, especially in promoting their clientele well being. As knowledge, technology and work environment changed, the Agricultural agents should also adjust their competencies. In this conjunction, the Agricultural agents’ working environment in the seven sub-districts in the district of Bekasi had tremendously changed in the last thirty years. A vast area of well-irrigated rice fields had been converted into industrial as well as urban estates. This in turn created a lot of small and land less farmers who no longer practice rice cultivation as before. Consequently, the agents’ client profiles were subsequently changed as well. The research question then, “What were the Agricultural Agents’ needed competencies so as to serve these people well?” To address this question, a descriptive study was implemented in those sub-districts. Twenty-six Agricultural Agents were interviewed. The obtained results pointed out that the agents perceived that: (1) Extension Program Development, (2) Promotion of Farmers’ Participation, (3) Conducting Education for Farmers, (4) Organizing Farmers, (5) Agricultural Information, (6) Socio-economic aspects of Agriculture, (7) Agricultural Subject Matter, and (8) Communication, as the competencies that they needed.

Abstract

This research was conducted to provide an assessment by observing the services and facilities applied to the campus parking lot at one of the universities. To support this research, we also collected data by distributing questionnaires to the parking lot users. In conducting the assessment, we use the Service Quality method which refers to five kinds of satisfaction attribute methods, namely reliability, responsiveness, tangible, assurance, and empathy. The assessment will be grouped based on these five kinds of attributes and the difference or distance between reality and expectations from the level of satisfaction, if the distance between reality and expectations is getting closer, the level of customer satisfaction will be higher, on the contrary if the distance between the two is getting further, the level of satisfaction will be lower. In these observations, we obtained some data and conclusions where the lowest level of satisfaction was found in the assurance assessment section, which means that the form of accountability applied to the parking lot service is still relatively low and still needs to be improved. The advice we give is to change the policy so that the form of responsibility that is applied can be improved, such as applying a warranty in the event of a loss of either the vehicle or driving equipment or conducting a search and repair in the event of loss or damage to either the vehicle or driving equipment.

Abstract

The competition between MSMEs that is created will encourage many MSME players to start looking for ways to increase the number of sales to continue to make the maximum profit possible. Several steps will be taken, one of which is starting to pay attention to performance management and creating a more efficient and effective path. This research aims to find out whether performance management and can influence the company's productivity level. The research was conducted using a survey method with a total sample of 25 employees who were registered as workers at the Nasi Kepal Jaya Wijaya MSME, which is a fairly successful producer of packaged rice balls and side dishes in the city of Surakarta. Data were collected using a questionnaire and then scoring and interpretation were carried out using a Likert Scale. The research results show that performance management and have a big influence on the company's productivity level. The indirect influence between performance management (X) and productivity (Y) through the employee satisfaction variable (M) has a path coefficient value of: 0.673 x 0.568 = 0.328 with a significant value for the influence of X on Y through M being 0.020<0.05 and calculated t value 2.325> t table 2.048 which means there is a partial influence between the performance management variable (X) on the productivity variable (Y) through (M). This indicates that although performance management does not have a significant influence on productivity directly, the two will influence each other through employee satisfaction as mediation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to assess the performance of live migration of Linux-based email server services using Proxmox virtualization technology. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui klasifikasi jenis tanah, properti tanah pengujian dan pengaruh penggunaan metode penambahan variasi tanah lempung jenuh air dengan menggunakan pasir dan cerucuk bambu, terhadap penurunan tanah lempung, kadar air, dan analisis T90. Penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan model boks baja, berukuran 100 cm x 100 cm x 40 cm sebagai media penempatan tanah lempung. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Jenis tanah termasuk CH (Clay High Plasticity) menurut klasifikasi USCS dan kelompok 4-7-6(40) menurut klasifikasi AASTHO. (2) Properti tanah adalah G=2,63, LL=74,71%, PL=29,76%, IP=44,95%, SL=19,06%, C=0,75 kg/cm2, OMC=39,2%. (3)  Penambahan TPV sangat efektif memperkecil penurunan. Pada pemberian tekanan 0,0125 kg/cm2, 0,025 kg/cm2, 0,05 kg/cm2, dan 0,01 kg/cm2 memperkecil penurunan, berturut-turut: 75,93%; 56,32%; 59,44% dan 42,32%. Pada kedalaman -10 cm penggunaan TPH paling efektif mengurangi kadar air tanah lempung  yaitu sebesar 53,30%, berarti mengurangi kadar air sebesar 3,62% dari kondisi tanah asli (TTD). Pada kedalaman 20 cm, penggunaan TCB paling efektif mengurangi kadar air sebesar 3,55% dari kadar air tanah lempung asli (TTD). Penggunaan CTPVH pada beban 0,1 kg/cm2 paling efektif dalam proses konsolidasi yaitu sebesar 94,10% dari tanah asli (TTD) dimana mempunyai nilai sebesar nilai t90 untuk CTPVH yaitu sebesar 15,21 menit. Kata Kunci: air, perkuatan, tanah lempung, T90  ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the classification of soil types, soil properties tested and the effect of using the method of adding variations in the water-saturated clay, using sand and bamboo piles, to clay settlement, moisture content, and T90 analysis. The experimental study used a steel box model, measuring 100 cm x 100 cm x 40 cm as a medium for clay placement. The results of this study are: (1) Soil types including CH (Clay High Plasticity) according to USCS classification and groups 4-7-6 (40) according to AASTHO classification. (2) Soil properties is G=2,63, LL=74,71%, PL=29,76%, IP=44,95%, SL=19,06%, C=0,75 kg/cm2, OMC=39,2%. (3) Addition of TPV is very effective in reducing the settlement. At a pressure of 0,0125 kg/cm2, 0,025 kg/cm2, 0,05 kg/cm2, and 0.01 kg/cm2 minimizing the settlement,  respectively: 75,93%; 56,32%; 59,44% and 42,32%. At depths of -10 cm the most effective use of TPH reduces clay soil moisture content by 53,30%, which means reducing water content by 3,62% from the original soil conditions (TTD). At a depth of 20 cm, using TCB is most effective at reducing water content by 3,55% from the original clay soil content (TTD). The use of CTPVH at a load of 0,1 kg/cm2 is most effective in the consolidation process which is 94.10% of the original soil (TTD) which has a value of T90 for CTPVH which is 15,21 minutes. Keywors: water, strainthening, clay, T90

Abstract

Bendung Sengkaling yang terletak di Desa Tegalgondo Kecamatan Karangploso Kabupaten Malang Provinsi Jawa Timur mempunyai nilai strategis sebagai penyedia air untuk Daerah Irigasi Sengkaling. Bendung Sengkaling mempunyai 2 intake, yaitu kanan dan kiri. Pada Daerah Irigasi Sengkaling tidak hanya digunakan untuk mengairi area pertanian, tetapi dimanfaatkan juga sebagai Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Mikro Hidro (PLTMH) Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah data sekunder. Yaitu data yang bersumber dari instansi-instansi tertentu yang relevan dengan tujuan penelitian ini. Adapun data-data sekunder yang digunakan adalah sebagai berikut: data aliran Sungai Brantas di Bendung Sengkaling (m³/dt), data luasan Daerah Irigasi Sengkaling, data kebutuhan air untuk PLTMH. Ketersediaan air rata-rata bulanan berdasarkan pencatatan AWLR di Bendung Sengkaling sebesar 4.51 m³/dt, debit maksimal 10.48 m³/dt dan debit minimal 1.12 m³/dt, berdasarkan perhitungan metode FJ. Mock ketersediaan air rata-rata bulanan sebesar 2.702 m³/dt, dengan debit maksimal sebesar 8.353 m³/dt dan minimal 0.007 m³/dt, sedangkan berdasarkan metode NRECA debit rata-rata bulanan sebesar 0.939 m³/dt, debit maksimal 3.653 m³/dt dan minimal 0.000 m³/dt. Neraca Air Bendung Sengkaling surplus selama 7 bulan, yaitu pada bulan November, Desember, Januari, Februari, Maret, April dan Mei, dengan total 27.13 m³/dt. Defisit selama 5 bulan, yaitu pada bulan Juni, Juli, Agustus, September dan Oktober, dengan total -4.95 m³/dt.
