Abstract

The use of private vehicles that are increasingly out of control causing traffic congestion. About 71% students and college students in the city of Yogyakarta use private vehicles daily. The main solution to overcome this in Yogyakarta is by improving the quality of public transportation. Students are reluctant to use public transportation because their residential area is not yet reached by Trans Jogja. The purpose of this study is to analyze the need to add bus stops that are suitable for students in the Urban Aglomeration Area of Yogyakarta in order to increase the student's desire to use Trans Jogja, so that it is expected to reduce congestion. The results of this study indicate that the distance between the school or campus to a bus stop has already met the standard, but there are still as many as 9% of students whose school or campus's location is within >400 meters to the bus stop. Meanwhile, the distance from the house to the bus stops does not meet the standards because as many as 45% of students whose house location is within > 400 meters to the bus stop. So Trans Jogja need to add additional stops around residential houses and around schools or campuses to increase the number of students to use Trans Jogja as many as 330 bus stop points consisting of 267 existing bus stops and 63 new bus stops. Abstract

One of the pioneer flight route approved by Communication Ministry in 2018 is Batam-Rengat route. In progress, the pioneer route changed into commercial route, signed by initiation commercial company of Wings Air in August 2018. However, in August 2019, the Wings Air Company did not offer the route to the public. Finally, now, there is no flight service provided to the route, which is detrimental to people who need air transportation on that route. For the reason, it is needed to conduct research to express significance behind the closing event of the flight route. This study aimed to analyze the process of Batam-Rengat route progress from 2018 to 2019 and identify factors that affecting the closure of the Batam-Rengat flight route in 2019. Method used in this study was qualitative study with case study. Information was chosen according to specific criteria and data were collected by in-depth interview and secondary data request to relevant institutions/organizations. Hereinafter, interview data were reduced and classified according to specific themes. Furthermore, primary and secondary data were compiled into a unit to make description of activity event of Batam-Rengat route flight from 2018 to 2019. Times series analysis was used to find description of route progress process from the pioneer flight to commercial flight, and factors analysis was used to identify the factors affecting the route closure. The results of time series analysis indicate that the pioneer flight operated during six months from February 2018 to July 2018; then, along with the commercial flight for five months from August 2018 to December 2018. From January 2019 to June 2019, there was only one flight service, namely, commercial flight by the Wings Air. The results of factor analysis indicate the closure of the Batam-Rengat commercial route is influenced by passenger demand, flight schedules, airplane fares, and demand patterns. This study found other findings, namely the Japura-Padang flight route has good market potential and community/business participation efforts in Indragiri Hulu to help the occupancy rate of aircraft on the Batam-Rengat flight route

Abstract

With the restrictions on the activities and travelling, many business and service sectors have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, one of those is transportation. This is certainly has an impact on the use of bike-sharing (JogjaBike), that is a transportation service supporting tourism. Thus, the initiation of active transport development has emerged as a response to COVID-19, therefore this research was carried out in developing a bike-sharing development strategy to support active transport in Yogyakarta. The data were collected through interviews with 9 informants with the analytical method using the Analytical Network Process (ANP). The results showed that 42% chose "convenience" as a JogjaBike development strategy with sub-criteria (1) increased application, (2) low cost, (3) improved bicycle quality, and an alternative priority, namely "JogjaBike integrated with public transportation".

Abstract

Selama pandemi Covid-19 terjadi peningkatan tren penggunaan sepeda diberbagai wilayah, tidak terkecuali di Yogyakarta. Untuk mengakomodasi para pengguna sepeda tersebut, pemerintah daerah telah menyediakan berbagai fasilitas sepeda yang tersebar di provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Namun beberapa fasilitas yang ditawarkan belum begitu dirasakan secara maksimal oleh masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui seperti apa kinerja fasilitas sepeda yang terdapat di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Metode yang digunakan yaitu observasi yang kemudian diinterpretasi secara deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, di provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta hanya kota Yogyakarta yang memiliki fasilitas sepeda seperti jalur sepeda, bike box, penyeberangan sepeda, rambu lalu lintas sepeda dan tempat parkir sepeda. Penilaian untuk setiap fasilitas beragam, mulai dari baik hingga rusak. Untuk meningkatkan penggunaan sepeda dikalangan masyarakat, maka perlu adanya pengembangan fasilitas sepeda yang berdasarkan aspek kenyamanan, keamanan dan keselamatan pesepeda. Selain itu, kebijakan yang menguntungkan pengguna sepeda juga perlu diterapkan sehingga dapat menarik minat masyarakat untuk menggunakan sepeda.

Abstract

Keberadaan PLTU Karangkandri yang berada di Kabupaten Cilacap, tepatnya di ruas Jalan Lingkar Timur memberikan dampak yang cukup besar pada ruas jalan di sekitarnya terutama pada ruas Jalan Raya Soekarno-Hatta yang menjadi salah satu jalur pegiriman batubara dari Pelabuhan Tanjung Intan Cilacap ke kawasan PLTU Karangkandri. Hal tersebut menjadi salah satu penyebab terjadinya penurunan kinerja jalan di ruas jalan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuaan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kegiatan PLTU Karangkandri terhadap kinerja Jalan Raya Soekarno-Hatta dan Jalan Lingkar Timur serta melakukan antisipasi dampak lalu lintas guna meminimalisasi permasalahan lalu lintas di sekitar kawasan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan perhitungan berdasarkan MKJI tahun 1997 untuk mengetahui kinerja ruas jalan dan simpang. Perhitungan tersebut dilakukan dengan skenario perhitungan pada kondisi eksisting, kondisi rekomendasi, kondisi pada tahun rencana serta kondisi pada tahun rencana dengan rekomendasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengaruh kegiatan PLTU Karangkandri khususnya pergerakan kendaraan batubara memberikan pengaruh sebesar sebesar 4-5% dari volume kendaraan pada saat jam puncak di ruas Jalan Lingkar Timur dan Jalan Soekarno-Hatta. Hambatan samping yang tinggi di sepanjang ruas jalan serta kondisi prasarana jalan yang kurang memadai untuk kendaraan batubara manuver sesuai dengan radius yang ditetapkan menyebabkan terjadinya permasalahan di sekitar kawasan tersebut. Antisipasi dampak yang dilakukan adalah dengan menerapkan pengaturan pola arus lalu lintas khususnya pada kendaraan batubara serta melakukan rekayasa lalu lintas di sekitar kawasan tersebut. Kondisi kinerja ruas jalan dan simpang pada skenario rekomendasi berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh peningkatan kinerja ruas jalan dan kinerja simpang.
