Abstract

Tulisan ini berusaha untuk mengungkap nalar kebudayaan pada masyarakat Muslim Kembangarum Kota Salatiga dalam tradisi Badan. Selain itu juga bermaksud mengungkap makna tradisi tersebut bagi masyarakat saat ini. Dengan metode kualitatif, penelitian ini menggunakan kajian pustaka, book survey. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa tradisi Badan di Kembangarum, merupakan salah satu tradisi masyarakat yang mengekspresikan kebudayaan masyarakat yang religius, sebagai wujud rasa syukur pada Tuhan. Tradisi Badan juga memiliki makna kepedulian kepada alam, serta makna membangun kerukunan dan keguyuban di antara masyarakat. Selain makna-makna kultural tersebut, tradisi Badan juga memiliki makna ekonomis dan sosial budaya bagi pemerintah lokal dan masyarakat.

Abstract

This research aims not only to understand the concept of peace in the Qur’an but also analyze Muslims’ contestation in Salatiga to lead to a peaceful life among religious believers. It requires an in-depth examination on dialectical perspectives between the ideal concept of peace in the Quran and the reality of a peaceful culture in the public sphere. Methodologically, this research combines literature review and semi-structured interviews to gather theoretical data based on social responses and literature of contemporary Qur’anic interpretation. The research subjects consist of (1) Muslims living with non-Muslim family members in the same house, (2) Muslims in a non-Muslim neighborhood, (3) religious figures, and (4) non-Muslims with Muslim family members. In order to interpret a special meaning of Qur’anic terms related to peaceful life, this research employs a hermeneutical approach of socio-thematic interpretation of the Qur’an. In conclusion, this research points out that Muslims in Salatiga play a significant role in building a peaceful life where some concepts, such as unity, freedom, honesty, and respect, are principles thriving vividly throughout society. Additionally, tolerance is a foundation of social interaction leading them to cooperate. Besides, several values, namely harmonization, tolerance, and coexistence, can be seen as dominant ideas within the communities, and practices such as cooperation and friendship can also be seen in their daily life. Thus, this research affirms that the Muslim majority can lead to tolerance and accommodate diversity as a way of life.

Abstract

This study's overarching goal is to examine family social security as the tool for the primary goal of expert waqf, and specifically to examine how it applies to wakif families in a way that is consistent with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The instrument of expert waqf is a model offered by Islam for the continuity of an established and prosperous family as the aim of waqf in Islam. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative and analysis obtained from the literature review approach of several articles or research, the results of this study are that waqf is an Islamic instrument for presenting welfare based on the usefulness of assets those held or handed over for social purposes, expert waqf is a model of waqf that is recognized besides khoiri waqf, expert waqf focuses on the value of benefits in the wakif family as the scholars have formulated it, in the SDGs achievements it was found that expert waqf provides guarantees for the sustainability of social, economic stability , Education and others as SDGs achievement indicators in education, economic sustainability and avoiding poverty. While the conclusion from this study, that expert waqf provides social security for wakif families in various fields, both education, economics, social, all of which are in line with the achievements of the SDGs by fulfilling strategic indicators, so that the resilience of the wakif family is guaranteed and the continuity of a decent life in the future can be achieved

Abstract

Academic writing at the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business IAIN Palangka Raya has not been optimal, of course, due to several factors, one of which is that there are still many lecturers who do not understand the importance of citations. teaching to students in academic writing is also weak, even citations in academic works of both lecturers and students are not open source. For this reason, the activity or solution that will be carried out is in the form of training. The method used in this training program is to use service learning so that lecturers and students are able to improve soft skills in academic writing through the zotero application, which is carried out in 3 stages, namely the preparation stage, the serving stage, and the reflection stage. In the first stage, the team coordinated on optimizing academic writing through the zotero application, designing, formulating academic writing activities through the zotero application, and the team conducting socialization of academic writing using the zotero application. The second stage, the service, is holding academic writing training through the zotero application for lecturers and students. The third stage, reflection. In this stage, the team evaluates academic writing through the zotero application. The results of the implementation of academic writing through the zotero application at FEBI IAIN Palangka Raya are considered to improve performance, quality makes it easier and supports effectiveness in producing academic works that are in accordance with national and international citations that are scientifically and academically recognized. This activity greatly affects the quality of the FEBI IAIN Palangka Raya quality which is required to be able to produce quality academic works and an effective and efficient writing process, so that the goals of the vision and mission of FEBI IAIN Palangka Raya can be achieved.
