Abstract

Academic writing at the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business IAIN Palangka Raya has not been optimal, of course, due to several factors, one of which is that there are still many lecturers who do not understand the importance of citations. teaching to students in academic writing is also weak, even citations in academic works of both lecturers and students are not open source. For this reason, the activity or solution that will be carried out is in the form of training. The method used in this training program is to use service learning so that lecturers and students are able to improve soft skills in academic writing through the zotero application, which is carried out in 3 stages, namely the preparation stage, the serving stage, and the reflection stage. In the first stage, the team coordinated on optimizing academic writing through the zotero application, designing, formulating academic writing activities through the zotero application, and the team conducting socialization of academic writing using the zotero application. The second stage, the service, is holding academic writing training through the zotero application for lecturers and students. The third stage, reflection. In this stage, the team evaluates academic writing through the zotero application. The results of the implementation of academic writing through the zotero application at FEBI IAIN Palangka Raya are considered to improve performance, quality makes it easier and supports effectiveness in producing academic works that are in accordance with national and international citations that are scientifically and academically recognized. This activity greatly affects the quality of the FEBI IAIN Palangka Raya quality which is required to be able to produce quality academic works and an effective and efficient writing process, so that the goals of the vision and mission of FEBI IAIN Palangka Raya can be achieved.

Abstract

This researchaims to examine in depth the concept and implementation of educational supervisionadministration in the context of Islamic schools through a literature study approach. Systematic and structured educational supervisionhas been proven to improve teacher performance and learning quality. Moreover, the integration of Islamic values in supervisory practices is a key factor in creatinga moral and religious academic culture. This study relies onrelevant secondary sources, such as scientific journals, academic books, andconference articles, to analyze effective supervision models andtheir contribution to teacher professionalism in Islamic schools. The results of the analysis show that principals or supervisors who act assupervisory leaders have a major influence in guiding teachers constructively andsustainably. These findings provide a theoretical and practical basis for thedevelopment of Islamic education supervision policies that are focused, planned, androoted in Islamic values.

Abstract

This article explores the role of Arabic calligraphy (khat) in supporting maharah al-kitabah as an essential aspect of Arabic language learning. This study employs a library research method by examining books, journals, and relevant literature on calligraphy and Arabic writing skills. The findings show that khat holds an important position in Islamic scholarly and cultural traditions and has developed through various historical periods, resulting in diverse calligraphic styles. In the context of writing skills, khat enhances the accuracy of letter forms, strengthens adherence to writing rules, and refines the aesthetic quality of written Arabic. Thus, khat contributes significantly to improving the quality of Arabic writing both linguistically and artistically, while also supporting the preservation of Islamic artistic heritage.

Abstract

School administration plays a very important role in carrying out the basic functions of Islamic educational institutions. . The purpose of this study is to identify the role of school administration in improving the operational effectiveness and quality of Islamic education. This study uses a library research method, which aims to collect, analyze, and compile information from various literature sources in order to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the topic being studied. The data analysis technique used is descriptive- qualitative. The results of the study show that the role of school administration is very important in improving the operational effectiveness and quality of Islamic education. Good administration is not only about technical management, but also about creating an environment that supports the development of students' morals and spirituality. With effective administration, schools are expected to be able to provide Islamic education that is not only academically qualified, but can also shape students' characters in accordance with Islamic values. It is hoped that this study can be a reference for policy makers and practitioners of Islamic education in formulating better management strategies, so that they can improve the quality of Islamic education as a whole.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplor agama sebagai pilar harmoni dalam masyarakat multikultural sebagai realitas sosial yang ditandai oleh keberagaman agama, budaya, suku, dan nilai-nilai kehidupan. Keberagaman ini di satu sisi menjadi kekayaan sosial, namun di sisi lain dapat memunculkan berbagai tantangan seperti konflik sosial, intoleransi, dan diskriminasi. Dalam konteks tersebut, agama memiliki peran strategis sebagai sumber nilai moral dan etika yang mampu membangun sikap saling menghargai dan hidup berdampingan secara harmonis. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan atau library research dengan metode deskriptif-kualitatif, melalui analisis tehadap literatur literatur daru jurnal dan buku. Fokus penelitian ini diarahlakan kepada agama sebagai pilar harmoni pada masyarakat yang multikultural. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan masyarakat Indonesia yang multikultural, agama berpotensi menjadi kekuatan pemersatu sekaligus penjaga harmoni sosial apabila nilai-nilainya dikelola secara inklusif, bijaksana, dan kontekstual. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ajaran agama, khususnya Islam yang bersifat universal dan inklusif, Temuan ini menegaskan Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa agama tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pedoman spiritual individual, tetapi juga memiliki peran sosial yang strategis dalam mengelola keragaman dan memperkuat kohesi sosial. Oleh karena itu, aktualisasi nilai-nilai agama yang berorientasi pada kemanusiaan, moderasi, dan dialog lintas budaya menjadi kunci penting dalam mewujudkan kehidupan masyarakat multikultural yang harmonis dan berkelanjutan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa agama berperan penting dalam menanamkan nilai toleransi, moderasi,dan keadilan. Selain itu, agama juga berfungsi sebagai sarana dalam masyarakat multikultural yang ditandai oleh keberagaman agama, budaya, suku, dan sistem nilai, agama memiliki fungsi strategis sebagai pilar utama dalam menjaga harmoni sosial. Keberadaan agama tidak hanya berperan sebagai pemenuh kebutuhan spiritual individu, tetapi juga sebagai sumber nilai moral, etika, dan norma sosial yang mengatur relasi antarindividu dan kelompok dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat
