Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan buku saku berdasarkan hasil eksplorasi jenis-jenis mangrove di Pulau Tunda Serang Banten untuk konsep keanekaragaman hayati danmengetahui kelayakan buku saku pada aspek materi dan media. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode (R&D) dengan model 3-D (define,design, dan develop), yang didukung oleh penelitian eksplorasi mangrove diPulau Tunda. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket. Data yang diperoleh dari angket dianalisis secara kualitatif dan catatan dari ahli dijadikan sebagai bahan perbaikan kelayakan buku saku. Hasil eksplorasi mangrove diperoleh 20 jenis mangrove terdiri dari 11 jenis mangrove sejati dan sembilan mangrove asosiasi. Hasil eksplorasi dijadikan salah satu konten dalam buku saku, selain manfaat, ancaman, dan usaha pelestarian ekosistem mangrove.Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-ratasebesar 90,85%, sehingga buku saku yang dikembangkan masuk ke dalam kategori sangat layakdigunakan pada konsep keanekaragaman hayati SMA kelas X kota Serang pada mata pelajaran biologi.

Abstract

Environmental problems have become a global issue. Understanding and interpreting environmental conditions to take appropriate actions to improve and to maintain the quality of the environment is known as environmental literacy. Environmental literacy values are essential to be included in textbooks since they can increase environmental awareness. This study aims to identify and analyze the content of environmental literacy aspects in biology textbooks for 10th-grade senior high school. This research was descriptive qualitative research with investigator triangulation technique for data validation. This research was conducted from December 2020 to June 2021. Based on the results showed that six aspects of environmental literacy were included in nine chapters (of the ten chapters) in the 10th-grade biology textbook, with the highest score of 36% (knowledge issues and environmental problems aspect) and the lowest score of 6% (cognitive skills aspect). Further, based on the results of expert validation, it got an average value of 98%, in the very appropriate category. The research results can be used as a reference for developing learning tools that are oriented towards increasing students' environmental awareness.

Abstract

Pengembangan pembelajaran berbasis potensi lokal diperlukan untuk penerapan prinsip diversifikasi pembelajaran sesuai dengan potensi daerah. Potensi lokal yang dimaksud berupa sumber daya alam, manusia, maupun ekonomi. Kelimpahan dan pemanfaatan melinjo (Gnetum gnemon) di Banten merupakan sumber daya flora yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai konten pembelajaran berbasis potensi lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa buklet pemanfaatan melinjo di Banten untuk menunjang pembelajaran berbasis potensi lokal. Research and development (R&D) digunakan sebagai metode dalam peneliitian ini, dengan tahapan analisis potensi dan masalah; pengumpulan data; desain produk; validasi ahli; dan revisi produk. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian uji ahli, diperoleh nilai sebesar 87,1% untuk aspek materi dan 92,5% untuk aspek media. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan produk yang dikembangkan yaitu buklet pemanfaatan melinjo di Banten sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis potensi lokal.

Abstract

National parks are natural conservation areas that have native ecosystems, managed with a zoning system that is used for research, science, education, tourism, cultivation and recreation purposes. Ujung Kulon National Park (TNUK) is one of Indonesia's national parks, located on the western tip of Java Island, Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province. The various kinds of ecosystems in Ujung Kulon National Park are a habitat for various endemic animals or those with a protected and endangered conservation status. However, climate change and poaching that have occurred over the years, land transfers, and climate change have created distinct threats to the preservation of fauna in this region. One of the efforts to preserve the environment in and around TNUK is to carry out in-depth research on habitat conditions and the diversity of species present inside the area. This research aims to obtain information on the diversity of fauna in the TNUK and identify the various types of fauna found in the TNUK area. Fauna's diversity information was carried out in September 2022 by exploring areas in Cilintang to Legon Pakis with a total distance of 9.7 km. The study found the diversity of fauna, and there are nine species of large mammals, seven species of herpetofauna (amphibian reptiles), 13 species of butterflies, and 30 species of avifauna (aves).
