Abstract

ABSTRACT The red fruit (Pandanus conoideus Lamk) is one of the local bioresources on the Central Highlands Region of Papua. Exploration to reveal the red fruit diversity in this region had been carried out in 2016 and 2017 which covers Kurima, Kurulu, Siepkosi, Wesaput and Kaninmbaga / Bokondini areas. The method used in exploration were interview the local residents, observations of plant morphology, soil, micro-climate, surrounding species, and collection of propagation material. The observed red fruit morphology includes; stem height and diameter, leaf length and width, and number of roots. Observation of fruit development was carried out at the Royal Biological Garden in Wamena (KRBW). The results of the exploration obtained 23 red fruit cultivars in the Central Highlands region of Papua. All cultivars grow in moist environments; the texture of the soil is clay mixed with sand and loam. The development of fruit from young fruit into ripe fruit takes 3-4 months which is divided into 3 stages. Ex-situ red fruit conservation efforts have been carried out at the Royal Biological Garden in Wamena (KRBW). Until now, 141 numbers of red fruits have been conserved in KRBW. The community has also cultivated a number of red fruit cultivars in their yard and garden such as Bergum, Maler, Wona and Wesi cultivars as in situ conservation. The four cultivars are very popular because the fruit is large and the oil content is more than other cultivars.  Keywords: Diversity, Red Fruit, Conservation, Royal Biological Garden in Wamena, Central Highlands Region of Papua

Abstract

Cabai Merah (Capsicum annuum L.) biasanya ditanam di pembibitan sebelum dipindahkan ke lahan. Informasi mengenai lingkungan optimal, termasuk intensitas cahaya, penting untuk memproduksi bibit cabai berkualitas. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh intensitas cahaya, berdasarkan jenis atap persemaian (paranet kerapatan 25%, 50%, dan 75%, kaca, dan fiberglass), terhadap perkecambahan dan pertumbuhan bibit cabai cv. Landung. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Kelompok Lengkap Teracak (RKLT) dengan empat ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan intensitas cahaya mempengaruhi perkecambahan dan pertumbuhan bibit cabai merah secara keseluruhan. Benih yang memperoleh intensitas cahaya lebih tinggi, yakni di bawah atap kaca (13.876,67 lux) dan atap fiberglass (16.268,89 lux) berkecambah lebih awal dan lebih seragam, dan menghasilkan persentase perkecambahan akhir lebih tinggi (97% dan 95%) dibandingkan benih yang memperoleh intensitas cahaya lebih rendah (atap paranet dengan kerapatan 25%, 50%, dan 75%), masing-masing sebesar 90%, 80,5%, dan 73,2%. Pertumbuhan bibit cabai merah di bawah atap kaca dan fiberglass lebih vigor sehingga menghasilkan kecepatan pertumbuhan (R) lebih tinggi (7,25 dan 7,49) dibandingkan semua perlakuan paranet (7,74, 7,74, dan 7,62). Bahan atap persemaian perlu dipertimbangkan sebab mempengaruhi perkecambahan dan pertumbuhan bibit cabai dengan mempengaruhi intensitas cahaya, seperti ditunjukkan oleh penelitian ini.

Abstract

Pupuk organik cair yang disebut POC merupakan pupuk hayati yang berfungsi sebagai pelengkap pupuk anorganik karena mampu memperbaiki sifat fisik, kimia, dan biologi tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pertumbuhan dan respons produksi cabai merah (Capsicum annuum L.) terhadap pemberian pupuk NPK 16:16:16 yang dipadukan dengan POC berbahan urin kelinci. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non faktorial dengan lima perlakuan dan enam ulangan. Budidaya cabai dilakukan di lahan terbuka dengan menggunakan polibag. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk NPK 16:16:16, POC berbahan urin kelinci, dan kombinasi keduanya tidak menunjukkan perbedaan nyata pada fase vegetatif tanaman namun berpengaruh terhadap komponen hasil. POC berbahan dasar urin kelinci 50% (dengan air) berpotensi mensubstitusi 20% dosis pupuk NPK 16:16:16. Kombinasi NPK 4 g polibag-1 + POC 50% (P2) memberikan hasil komponen rendemen tertinggi dan setara dengan NPK 5 g polibag-1 + POC 50% (P3). Perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk mengetahui konsentrasi dan dosis POC berbasis urin kelinci yang optimal untuk budidaya cabai di polibag. Abstract

Kekeringan menyebabkan kerugian ekonomi pada usahatani cabai (Capsicum annuum L.) di Indonesia. Identifikasi kultivar cabai toleran kekeringan diperlukan sebagai langkah awal perakitan varietas cabai toleran kekeringan. Penelitian bertujuan mengidentifikasi perubahan morfo-anatomi beberapa kultivar cabai dan menetapkan tingkat toleransinya terhadap kondisi kekurangan air menggunakan ISK (Indeks Sensitivitas Kekeringan). Penelitian dilaksanakan di bulan Februari – Agustus 2022 di Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN), Cibinong, Jawa Barat. Percobaan disusun berdasarkan Rancangan Kelompok Lengkap Teracak (RKLT) pola tersarang. Petak utama adalah kelembaban media (80% dan 35% kapasitas lapang). Anak petak adalah enam kultivar cabai. Hasil menunjukkan defisit air menyebabkan tanaman dorman, umur berbunga dan umur panen menjadi lebih lama, kerapatan trikoma meningkat, sedangkan peubah lain menurun. Penurunan pertumbuhan vegetatif dan tertundanya pembungaan (fenologi) mendahului penurunan hasil. SSP dan Genie ditetapkan toleran terhadap kondisi defisit air berdasarkan nilai ISK. Abstract

A child who is the perpetrator of a crime must provide protection for the rights of a child. In the criminal court system for the child who has a role in providing case assistance for children who deal with the law. A child or minor who commits a drug crime can be given special attention to the child in order to provide the best. This research has the aim of knowing the implementation, obstacles and efforts in providing solutions to the obstacles of narcotics crimes committed by children at the Medan Class I Child Special Development Institution in Medan. The research method used is juridical sociology, which emphasizes to obtain empirical hokum by going directly to the object. Based on this research, several research results were found as follows: semestrinya the implementation of the child protection law is handed over to the Child Special Development Institution Class I Medan. The next obstacle is the lack of understanding of law enforcement officials that children, like drug users, are the only victims. The second obstacle is the lack of public understanding of juvenile drug users. Drug use by juveniles is considered the same as drug crimes committed by adults in the public perception. The third obstacle is the weakness in infrastructure, especially in rural areas in Indonesia. Especially in the rehabilitation process, with the mechanism of the rest process, mental rehabilitation, physical rehabilitation, physical development, spiritual development, all of which have not been provided at the Medan Class I Special Child Development Center in Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of servant leadership and work environment on teacher performance, both directly and indirectly through organizational commitment as a mediating variable, among public junior high school teachers in Temanggung Regency. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method, involving 291 teachers from 11 public junior high schools selected through stratified random sampling. Data were analyzed using path analysis with IBM SPSS 25, and the Sobel test was conducted to examine the mediating variable. The results indicate that servant leadership and work environment have a significant positive effect on organizational commitment. Furthermore, servant leadership, work environment, and organizational commitment significantly and positively influence teacher performance. Indirectly, servant leadership and work environment also exert a significant positive effect on teacher performance through organizational commitment.
