Abstract

AbstrakPerkembangan Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi serta jaringan internet menyentuh berbagai lapisan masyarakat tak terkecuali dalam bidang pendidikan. Penggunaan TIK dalam pembelajaran dapat memberikan dampak positif antara lain adalah dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar, meningkatkan motivasi dan membantu siswa belajar maandiri. Pemerintah mendukung upaya peningkatan penggunaan TIK dalam pembelajaran.Walaupun penggunaan TIK memberi dampak positif bagi siswa namun penerapan TIK dalam pendidikan guru tergantung pada sikap guru terhadap TIK itu sendiri.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap guru terhadap TIK. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kota Palembang dengan melibatkan 25 orang guru sebagai partisipan. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 76.19% guru memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan TIK dalam pendidikan.Kata kunci: Tanggapan guru, E-learning, Pembelajaran fisika

Abstract

The study of science is one of the important learning that activates and improves student competence, such as higher-order thinking and communication competency.  The development of the ability to work scientifically and pursue the student to communicate investigation result are the main goal of science learning. Based on the previous study, the understanding of concept and student communication skills remains low at science learning. The learning strategy “writing to learn” is predicted to raise the low understanding concept ability and communication skill, especially in solar system learning material. The study aims to know the enhancement and get the prediction between the understanding of concept and communication skills after applying the strategy writing to learn in solar system material. The research used a quasi-experiment method with pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. The study conducted in one of the junior high schools in Bandung, West Java. The instrument used is to measure the understanding of the concept by using multiple-choice questions, on the other hand, to measure the communication skill, the author use journal writing assignment. The analysis result showed that the implementation of writing to learn strategy improve the understanding of concept and communication skill even though it classified as a medium category. The enhancement happened toward the average communication skill in each meeting. Nonetheless, the low relation and influence are shown after correlation analysis happened between the understanding of concept and communication skills Keywords : Writing to Learn, Mastery of Concept, Communication Skills, Solar System Learning Material Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan serta mendapatkan gambaran hubungan antara kemampuan penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan komunikasi setelah diterapkannya strategi pembelajaran writing to learn, khususnya pada materi tata surya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi experiment dengan pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design dan dilaksanakan pada salah satu SMP di Kota Bandung, Jawa Barat. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur penguasaan konsep menggunakan soal tes pilihan ganda dan untuk mengukur keterampilan komunikasi menggunakan tugas menulis jurnal. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi writing to learn meningkatkan penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan komunikasi walaupun tergolong kategori sedang. Peningkatan pun terjadi terhadap rata-rata keterampilan komunikasi pada setiap pertemuannya. Walaupun demikian, hubungan dan pengaruh yang lemah ditunjukkan setelah analisis korelasi dilakukan antara penguasaan konsep dengan keterampilan komunikasi.Kata kunci: Writing to Learn, Penguasaan Konsep, Keterampilan Komunikasi, Tata surya

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menghasilkan lembar kerja hukum Newton yang secara empiris dapat melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah RD (Research and Development). Model yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation Evaluation). Sampel penelitian ini sejumlah 75 peserta didik SMA kelas XI semester 1 yang diambil melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah pre-test post-test. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan rasch model dan uji N-Gain. Hasil uji coba lapangan menunjukkan hasil peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik sebesar 0,49 yang masuk pada kategori sedang.

Abstract

External Representation is a learning strategy that is applied to convey the subject matter of teaching to students by using various modes of representation. The mode of representation consists of verbal representations, images, graphics, and mathematics. The application of the RE approach because learners experience learning obstacles to be able to understand newton's law of straight motion that is only conveyed verbally and mathematically. The purpose of this research is to train and improve students' cognitive skills in the domains of C1 (remembering), C2 (understanding), C3 (applying), and C4 (analyzing) in learning Physics. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The subjects of this study were selected by purposive sampling. The students of class X Mathematics and Natural Sciences in a high school in West Bandung regency were 30 students in the experimental class and 30 students in the control class. Measurement of cognitive skills using multiple choice instruments on pre-test and post-test. Analysis to see the increase in students' cognitive skills using normalized gain analysis. The results obtained that the experimental class students have increased to the moderate category with a <g>= 0.41 and students in the control class have a moderate category with a value of <g>= 0.36 from each cognitive domain skill that is trained.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the problem based learning model assisted by visual audio to improve students' cognitive abilities and problem solving abilities in alternative energy materials. The research method used is a quantitative quasi experimental design method. The population chosen in this research were class XI students at a private high school in the city of Bandung. The sample for this research consisted of 66 students. The sampling technique used was convenienc sampling. The instrument used consisted of 14 questions for cognitive abilities and 21 questions for problem solving abilities. The data analysis technique used to determine cognitive abilities and problem solving abilities uses N-Gain calculations. The results of the research showed that classes that applied the problem based learning model assisted by visual audio had higher increases in cognitive abilities and problem solving abilities compared to classes that only used the problem based learning model. In the experimental class, the N-Gain value for cognitive ability was <g> = 0.84, included in the "High" category and for problem solving ability <g> = 0.79, included in the "High" category. Meanwhile, the control class for cognitive abilities has an N-Gain value of <g> = 0.35, which is in the "Medium" category and for problem solving abilities of <g> = 0.58, which is in the "Medium" category.
