Abstract

Kelurahan Kedungpane, Kecamatan Mijen, Kota Semarang terdapat banyak keluarga yang memiliki anak bayi dan balita yang tentunya banyak menggunakan popok sekali pakai. Belum tersedianya mekasnime pengelolaan popok sekali pakai membuat kondisi sampah tidak tertangani dengan baik. solusi yang efektif dalam menangani permasalahan sampah popok sekali pakai yaitu dengan pemanfaatan teknologi tepat guna berupa mini incinerator skala rumah tangga. Pembuatan mini-incinerator ini dimaksudkan untuk menekan sumber daya yang diperlukan dalam membuat dan mengoperasikan insinerator komunal yang umumnya berukuran besar. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan tujuan menyediakan serta memberikan pemhaman kepada masyarakat untuk dapat mengelola sampah sekali pakai dengan pendekatan teknologi tepat guna yang murah, aman dan tepat guna.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak dari penerapan model learning  cycle 7E dengan pendekatan STEM terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik di MAN 1 Kota Pekalongan pada materi laju reaksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain non-equivalent control group design. Pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling, sehingga didapati kelas XI MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen sebanyak 35 yang menerapkan model learning  cycle 7E dengan pendekatan STEM sebagai model belajar dan XI MIPA 5 sebanyak 34 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan penerapan model konvensional atau ceramah. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian, didapati nilai rata-rata hasil post-test kelas eksperimen sebesar 74,00 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 53,82. Berdasarkan hasil uji independent sample t-test diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed)  0,000 yang artinya kurang dari 0,05 sehingga model learning  cycle 7E dengan pendekatan STEM berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi laju reaksi. Selain itu, berdasakan hasil uji effect size didapati hasil sebesar 1,7 yang menandakan pengaruhnya sangat tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to reconstruct indigenous knowledge into scientific knowledge in the production process of Batik Linggo carried out in Singorojo District, Kendal Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. The description of this study is a number of scientific knowledge from the reconstruction of indigenous knowledge about the production of Batik Linggo. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method through interviews, direct observation, and literature study on the production of Batik Linggo. This research focuses on the Production Process description of Batik Linggo, especially the knowledge of Batik craftsmen related to raw materials and the production process of Batik Linggo. The data obtained were analyzed, verified, constructed into scientific knowledge, and interpreted to obtain meaningful information. Based on this research, it can be concluded that there is local wisdom found in the production of Batik Linggo that can be reconstructed into scientific knowledge.

Abstract

Marketing strategies in the digital era are an important point for UMKM actors to market products both offline and online by utilizing social media platforms. The purpose of this socialization is to provide education about the importance of marketing strategies in the digital era and increase the marketing of UMKM products in a wider range. The method used is qualitative descriptive to explore information in depth about the topic of service. Activities include lectures, discussions, and outputs in the form of making pamphlets and mapping google maps. As a result of the implementation of this socialization, there is an increase in the reach of product marketing more widely through the distribution of pamphlets on social media and mapping of business locations on google maps. This activity succeeded in increasing participants' awareness of digital marketing strategies and providing insights into the use of social media to build branding for UMKM.

Abstract

Limbah rumah tangga merupakan penyumbang limbah terbesar. Sebagian besar limbah rumah tangga adalah limbah organik yang jika tidak dikelola dengan baik dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka pengelolaan limbah organik perlu dilakukan secara komprehensif. Pelatihan pembuatan eco-enzyme bertujuan untuk menambah wawasan, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan masyarakat, khususnya ibu-ibu rumah tangga dalam mengolah sampah organik rumah tangga menjadi produk eco-enzyme. Metode pengabdian ini adalah sosialisasi dan diskusi terkait teknologi eco-enzyme, demonstrasi teknologi eco-enzyme, dan praktik langsung pembuatan eco-enzyme bersama peserta pelatihan. Eco-enzyme dapat dibuat dari campuran limbah organik, molase dan air dengan perbandingan 3:1:10. Kegiatan pelatihan tersebut mendapatkan respon yang baik dari peserta, diantaranya jumlah kehadiran peserta lebih dari 85%, antusias dan semangat peserta baik, tanggapan masyarakat terkait kegiatan pelatihan positif. Produk eco-enzyme yang dihasilkan oleh peserta baik dan sesuai indikator eco-enzyme, yaitu warna kecoklatan, bau khas buah dan sedikit beraroma alkohol, pH asam (3-4), dan tidak ditumbuhi jamur atau belatung

Abstract

Autism is a neurological developmental disorder that affects communication, social interaction, and behavior in children. One of the therapies used to reduce autism symptoms is the Casein-Free Gluten-Free (CFGF) diet. This therapy aims to address metabolic disorders caused by the "leaky gut" syndrome, in which gluten and casein are not fully digested, resulting in opioid peptides that can affect brain function. This study focuses on the effectiveness of the CFGF diet in reducing autism symptoms, including improvements in communication skills, emotional responses, and cognitive function. According to previous studies, implementing the CFGF diet is reported to reduce autism symptoms by 60-70%. The implementation of this diet involves replacing foods containing gluten and casein, such as bread and cow's milk, with alternatives like rice flour and almond milk. Adopting the CFGF diet can reduce gut permeability and improve neurological function in individuals with autism. Additionally, this diet is also associated with improved sleep patterns and increased attention in children with autism, which in turn can enhance learning abilities. Nevertheless, the diet must be supervised to ensure that nutritional needs are met. Literature reviews indicate that the CFGF diet has a significant positive impact on reducing autism symptoms, including improvements in eye contact, social behavior, and engagement in group activities. Thus, the CFGF diet can be an effective alternative therapy to support the development of children with autism, especially in social, cognitive, and emotional aspects.

Abstract

KKN students of Universitas Islam Negeri Walisongo Semarang held a cherry leaf tea-making activity with PKK women in Krandon village. Using cherry leaves to make tea bags is a creative idea from the students that can be applied in the health sector and as an entrepreneurial idea independently carried out by the community. This initiative is motivated by the fact that most of the population has high blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid levels. The primary purpose of this training is to socialize the health benefits of cherry leaves and provide entrepreneurial ideas for selling herbal tea bags from cherry leaves that can be made more attractive and have high selling value. The results of the cherry leaf tea-making training activities have positively impacted the people of Krandon village. Firstly, it can provide information about the benefits of cherry leaves that were previously unknown to the public. Previously, people only used the fruit without knowing that cherry leaves can also be used for health and as an entrepreneurial idea. Secondly, it motivates women to develop the use of cherry leaves as a selling idea. Thirdly, it can produce tea bags from leaves found in many places and substitute other herbal teas.
