Dewasa ini, para guru dituntut selalu mengembangkan dirinya dalam hal ilmupengetahuan dan keahlian dalam melakukan pendidikan di sekolah, terutama dengan adanyaprogram sertifikasi guru dari pemerintah. Dengan adanya program sertifikasi guru, guruberkewajiban mengembangkan dirinya melalui aspek penelitian dan penulisan karya tulisilmiah. Pengembangan guru tidak akan terlepas dengan adanya penulisan karya tulis ilmiah.Penulisan karya tulis ilmiah di bidang pendidikan merupakan aktivitas menuju profesionalitasseorang guru. Profesionalitas guru sangat bermanfaat bagi kecerdasan anak didiknya dan jugakemajuan institusi sekolah. Penulisan karya tulis ilmiah tidak banyak dilakukan oleh para guruterutama guru ilmu sosial yang mengalami hambatan terutama untuk mengurus kenaikanpangkat. Pemahaman dan pengetahuan mengenai penulisan karya tulis ilmiah sangat kurangdikarenakan kurangnya sosialisasi dan pelatihan kepada para guru tersebut. Selain itu, dengankurangnya informasi dan petunjuk yang jelas tentang karya tulis ilmiah pengembangan profesiguru menyebabkan banyak guru mengalami kesulitan dalam melakukan penelitian danpenulisan karya tulis ilmiah

From Fishing to Tourism: A New Generation of Fishermen and Marine Resource Tourism in Indonesia Lucky Zamzami; Akifumi Iwabuchi

This paper explains about fishermen community on the West Sumatra related to the state of tourism resources. A higher pressure economic situation on the coast made the fishermen community turn to tourism activity. The fishermen community has involved in tourism area who have been fishing for much longer. Fishermen households included the new generation of the fishermen have also diversified their incomes, with many fishing households turning to tourism actors with men and women involved in various activities in the tourism area. This research used a qualitative approach with the descriptive-interpretative method. Data of research were taken from several fishermen households directly related to the tourism area in the village of Sungai Pisang, Bungus Teluk Kabung District, Padang. This paper discusses fishermen community as the new fishermen, mainly of the village of Sungai Pisang population group, has often been blamed for the loss of traditional access regulations by the effect of marine resource tourism. Fishermen community and their identity with related to this employment generation for marine resource tourism. Development of marine resource tourism brings their life changes of the fishermen's families, in the form of socio-cultural and economic changed.

The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of the archipelago module course on social interaction in the independent student exchange activity program. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this study were all students in the independent student exchange program at the University of Mataram. Collecting data using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the implementation of the archipelago module has a positive impact on social interaction, namely increasing understanding and appreciation of Indonesia's cultural diversity. Improve communication skills, open job opportunities and increase self-confidence. Obstacles faced during implementation include; lack of qualified teaching staff, limited facilities and infrastructure, difficulties in accessing resources, differences in student backgrounds, lack of support and attention from the campus. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of the Merdeka Student Exchange Program has a positive impact on social interaction between students, as well as increasing understanding and appreciation of Indonesia's cultural diversity. Meanwhile, in overcoming the obstacles encountered during the implementation of the Nusantara Module course, cooperation is needed between all parties involved in this program, be it the campus, teaching staff, or students. The purpose of this study was to determine the adaptation pattern of farmers in managing agricultural land. This study uses a qualitative approach method with a choice of case study methods. The results of this study indicate that because of the Nagari Ketaping farming community's land being made for the construction of the airport, they made several changes such as changes from a cultural to socio-economic perspective. Most of them can read business opportunities and can take advantage of this phenomenon well, but of course there are some unscrupulous people who take advantage of this phenomenon in bad ways, such as violating the norms that have developed in society. All these actions are based on the rational attitude of farmers in thinking. The farmers want a decent life and want to get ahead, but the problem so far is they don't have access to the market. The conclusion of the research is that the Minangkabau International Airport provides several good benefits for the community. although at first the affected farmers experienced confusion in managing agricultural land after the construction of the Minangkabau International Airport, slowly the farming community began to be able to find adaptation patterns so that they could continue to survive and earn a decent income. Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin canggih menjadikan komunikasi menjadi cepat dan mudah. Di sektor pemerintah tingkat terendah yakni pemerintah desa, teknologi sudah seharusnya digunakan untuk tata kelola pemerintahan yang baik. Salah satu langkah konkret penggunaan teknologi di tingkat pemerintah desa adalah digitalisasi desa menggunakan aplikasi Simpeldesa. Nagari Lubuak Batingkok adalah Nagari Pertama di Pulau Sumatera yang menggunkan Simpeldesa. Aplikasi ini merupakan produk PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia untuk memudahkan sistem manajemen informasi dan pelayanan desa. Namun, keberhasilan implementasi Simpeldesa sangat bergantung pada efektivitas komunikasi pemerintah desa dengan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pra implementasi penggunaan aplikasi Simpeldesa, menganalisis komunikasi pemerintah dengan masyarakat dalam mensosialisasikan aplikasi Simpeldesa dan menganalisis faktor pendorong keberhasilan penggunaan Simpeldesa di Nagari Lubuak Batingkok. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus yang teknik pengumpulan datanya melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pra Impelementasi penggunaan Simpeldesa dawali dengan menganalisis kesesuaian kebutuhan desa dengan aplikasi, rekruitment serta pelatihan Tim Informasi Nagari (TIN) dan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat. Komunikasi pemerintah dengan masyarakat dalam sosialisasi Simpeldesa dilakukan dengan tiga cara, Pertama komunikasi melalui media luar ruangan yang meliputi papan pengumuman, spanduk dan aplikasi Simpeldesa. Kedua, komunikasi melalui media teknologi yang meliputi media sosial dan iklan layanan masyarakat. Ketiga, komunikasi melalui media tatap muka yang meliputi komunikasi door to door dan pertemuan langsung dengan lembaga yang ada di nagari. Faktor pendorong keberhasilan sosialisasi Simpeldesa adalah motivasi dari pimpinan, kemudahan menggunakan aplikasi dan dukungan yang baik dari masyarakat.

This study focuses on the role of fishermen in the development of ecotourism through entrepreneurial activities on Pasia Tiku Beach. The research aims to understand the role and contribution of fishermen in maintaining environment-based tourism. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation. The research informants consisted of local fishermen, ecotourism managers, and tourists. The results of the study show that fishermen not only play a role as environmental guardians but also as tour guides and local economic actors through entrepreneurial activities carried out. The involvement of fishermen in ecotourism activities has been proven to increase environmental awareness and provide significant economic benefits to the community. The results of this study can contribute to the development of a sustainable ecotourism model involving local communities, especially fishermen as the main actors. In addition, the results of this study can be a reference for the government and other stakeholders in formulating ecotourism development policies and strategies’ or if it will change the face of the case law as it currently stands.

Implementing sustainable tourism development within tourist villages has emerged as a growing trend in the tourism industry, catering to the contemporary needs of tourists and serving as a valuable economic resource. It is also regarded as a gauge of the successful execution of sustainable tourism within local communities, exemplifying their active involvement in harnessing the tourism potential of their regions. This article seeks to chronicle the execution of sustainable tourism development in coastal areas, focusing on village-based tourism due to its profound impact on local economies and the transformations in people's ways of life. To illustrate this, a case study was conducted in South Tiku Village, Tanjung Mutiara District, Agam Regency. The research employed a descriptive qualitative modeling approach and in-depth interviews involving village stakeholders, the Awareness Tourism Group (Kelompok Sadar Wisata), and the South Tiku Tourism Village community. As a result, it became evident that the residents of Tiku Tourist Village have effectively harnessed their village's potential through sustainable tourism development. This is substantiated by the notable increase in income among the South Tiku Tourist Village community, primarily attributable to tourism-related activities. Furthermore, this transformation has seen former fishermen transition into tourism entrepreneurs, reshaping their livelihoods.

This study aims to analyze the socio-cultural changes in the coastal community of the Nagari Ampiang Parak ecotourism area, which initially relied on fishing for their livelihood, towards a community that leverages natural resources for entrepreneurship. The method used in this research is qualitative ethnography. The research population consists of fishermen living in the Nagari Ampiang Parak ecotourism area, with a sample of local fishermen and entrepreneurs selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through non-participatory observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction, data presentation, and verification techniques. The study results show significant changes in the community's lifestyle, which previously depended on fishing as the primary source of income, and now they are more actively involved in entrepreneurial activities that leverage community-based ecotourism. This study concludes a close relationship between ecotourism development and the community's increased awareness of environmental sustainability and new economic opportunities. The researchers recommend continuous training to enhance the entrepreneurial skills of the local community.

Violence against women continues to be a significant issue that calls for decisive government action. In response, the Indonesian government established the Regional Technical Implementation Unit for the Protection of Women and Children (UPTD PPA) through PPPA Regulation Number 4 of 2018. The West Sumatra Provincial Government has formed UPTD PPA to provide protection services for women victims of violence. However, challenges remain in aligning the implementation of these services with the protection principles mandated in the national legal framework. This study aims to describe how the UPTD PPA of West Sumatra Province applies the principles of protection in handling cases of violence against women. Data were gathered using a qualitative descriptive approach through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The research informants consisted of five officers from the UPTD PPA of West Sumatra Province. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which involves data coding, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that the implementation of the principles of non-discrimination and the best interests of the victim is nearly ideal. However, gender equality has not been fully realized. The principle of justice is fully aligned with the legal basis, while the principle of recovery is only partially so.
