Abstract

Adoption of social media by government agencies is typically associated with the promotion of transparency, participation, and cooperation. However, less emphasis has been placed on the use of social media for public service delivery. As a result, this article investigates the tactics used by eight local governments in West Java Province to develop content for social media. To that end, the research re-creates a well-known interpretive framework of social media interactions in the public sector, focusing on three categories: information provision, citizen involvement, and public service delivery. The present research puts the methodology to the test by analyzing Twitter data from a key collection of local governments. The findings support the use of social media to disseminate institutional information and encourage connections with people. At the same time, local governments in West Java  are beginning to employ social media to perform public services.

Abstract

Poverty is a problem that hinders economic growth. Poverty is described as a lack of income to meet the basic necessities of life or the minimum necessities of life, namely clothing, food, shelter, education and health. To overcome poverty in Majalengka District,, one of them is the Family Hope Program (PKH). It is a conditional social assistance program aimed at families who have been designated as beneficiaries of assistance in the form of PKH to overcome poverty. One example of PKH's obligation is to ensure that every child in a family unit goes to school according to the elementary and high school levels through the provision of social assistance of up to 2 million. The Hope Assistance Program also provides many benefits for survival, for example assistance in the fields of health, education and most importantly to improve social welfare in the community. The research conducted in evaluating the application of this program uses descriptive qualitative research methods and also analysis. Which aims to evaluate the extent to which the Family Hope Program is implemented in Majalengka District, so that it can be seen that the Family Hope Program in Majalengka District, in its implementation has run quite optimally. Although there are still some residents who have obstacles in receiving the assistance or even unable to receive the assistance due to other reasons.PKeywords : PKH, Poverty,education, Health Kemiskinan merupakan salah satu masalah yang menghambat dari pertumbuhan ekonomi. Kemiskinan digambarkan sebagai kurangnya pendapatan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup yang pokok atau kebutuhan hidup yang minimum yaitu sandang, pangan, papan, pendidikan dan kesehatan.Untuk mengatasi kemiskinan di Kabupaten Majalengka, salah satunya adalah Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH). Merupakan program bantuan sosial bersyarat yang ditujukan kepada keluarga yang telah ditetapkan sebagai penerima bantuan berupa PKH untuk mengatasi kemiskinan. Salah satu contoh kewajiban PKH adalah memastikan setiap anak dalam satu unit keluarga bersekolah sesuai jenjang SD dan SMA melalui pemberian bansos hingga 2 juta. Program Bantuan Harapan juga memberikan banyak manfaat untuk kelangsungan hidup, misalnya bantuan dalam bidang kesehatan, pendidikan dan yang terpenting untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan sosial di masyarakat. Penelitian yang dilakukan dalam mengevaluasi penerapan program ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan juga analisis. Yang bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi sejauh mana Program Keluarga Harapan dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Majalengka, sehingga dapat diketahui bahwa Program Keluarga Harapan di Kabupaten Majalengka dalam pelaksanaannya sudah berjalan cukup optimal. Meski masih ada beberapa warga yang mengalami kendala dalam menerima bantuan atau bahkan tidak dapat menerima bantuan karena sebab lain.Kata Kunci : PKH,Kemiskinan, Pendidikan, Kesehatan

Abstract

Keunggulan komparatif geografis dan luas lahan yang memadai, serta telah berkembang peternakan domba di Desa Koreak memiliki peluang bagi pengembangan pertanian padi secara berkelanjutan. Namun, diperlukan percepatan adopsi inovasi teknologi pertanian hasil penelitian atau pengkajian melalui diseminasi yang bertujuan untuk memastikan bahwa inovasi teknologi tersebut dapat diterapkan secara praktis di lapangan, meningkatkan produktivitas, keberlanjutan, dan kesejahteraan petani serta masyarakat. Kegiatan diseminasi ini dilaksanakan di Desa Koreak Kecamatan Cigandamekar Kabupaten Kuningan Propinsi Jawa Barat, pada tanggal 8 Agustus 2024. Kelompok sasaran kegiatan diseminasi, yaitu anggota Kelompok Tani dan Kelompok Wanita Tani sebanyak 39 orang, 1 dosen pengabdi, 1 orang narasumber dan 21 mahasiswa peserta KKN Tematik Universitas Majalengka. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan diseminasi ini adalah ceramah, praktik, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta yang hadir sebanyak 39 orang (98 %) dan yang tidak hadir sebanyak 1 orang (2 %) dari 40 orang peserta yang diundang; peserta yang aktif, antusias dan tekun sebanyak 35 orang (87 %) dan yang kurang aktif, antusias dan tekun sebanyak 5 orang (13 %) dari 39 orang peserta yang hadir; peserta dengan nilai evaluasi pada aspek pengetahuan >70 ada sebanyak 33 orang (85 %) dan <70 ada sebanyak 6 orang (15 %) dari 39 orang peserta yang hadir; dan peserta yang meningkat keterampilannya sebanyak 32 orang (82 %) dan yang masih belum meningkat keterampilannya sebanyak 7 orang (18 %) dari 39 orang peserta yang hadir. Dari kegiatan diseminasi ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan kuantitas dan kualitas hasil panen secara berkelanjutan, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan para petani dan ekonomi desa, serta berkontribusi pada ketahanan pangan regional dan nasional.

Abstract

The main problem of this research is that community participation in development is still not optimal, with low enthusiasm in planning deliberations and minimal contribution in implementation, this is thought to be caused by ineffective democratic leadership styles, lack of socialization and lack of acceptance of input from the community regarding this problem. Data collection in this research used field research with descriptive-quantitative analysis methods that describe and explain current social phenomena by examining the relationship and influence between Democratic leadership and Community Participation. This research method uses quantitative analysis techniques through simple linear regression analysis, product moment correlation coefficient and coefficient of determination which is intended to determine the magnitude of the influence of an organization's Democratic Leadership on Community Participation. The results of this research are based on hypothesis testing (t-test) which shows that there is an influence of Democratic Leadership on Community Participation of 79.7% and the remaining 20.3% is influenced by other factors. The conclusion in this research is that Democratic Leadership empirically has a significant influence on Community Participation in Jatimulya Village, Kasokandel District, Majalengka Regency.

Abstract

Transformasi digital di desa merupakan strategi penting untuk meningkatkan kinerja pelayanan publik, keterbukaan informasi, serta pemberdayaan masyarakat. Desa Lembang, yang memiliki potensi sumber daya alam dan usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM), belum memiliki platform digital yang dapat memasarkan potensi tersebut secara luas. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membuat website resmi Desa Lembang sebagai sarana branding dan promosi UMKM lokal. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan sistem perancangan berdasarkan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Website ini dikembangkan menggunakan framework Laravel serta dilengkapi dengan fitur-fitur utama seperti profil desa, direktori UMKM, galeri, dan dashboard untuk admin. Hasil dari kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa website yang dibuat berhasil memenuhi kebutuhan informasi dan promosi desa, serta dapat dikelola secara mandiri oleh aparat desa berkat adanya pelatihan yang diberikan. Website ini mendukung pencapaian visi desa yang lebih maju dan mandiri melalui peningkatan visibilitas UMKM dan partisipasi masyarakat. Dengan demikian, pengembangan situs ini membawa dampak positif dalam menciptakan branding digital untuk Desa Lembang, meskipun masih diperlukan pengembangan lebih lanjut seperti integrasi fitur e-commerce dan perluasan jangkauan melalui aplikasi seluler

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Implementation of the Policy of the Directorate General of Islamic Education Circular No. 10 of 2024 concerning the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) at the Tarogong Islamic Boarding School, Garut Regency, and its impact on students' learning motivation. Education, especially in Islamic boarding schools, requires special attention regarding adequate nutritional access for students, which has a significant impact on the learning process. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design, which allows researchers to explore in depth the experiences and perceptions of students, teachers, Islamic boarding school leaders, kitchen managers and parents regarding this program. The results of the study indicate that this policy has a positive impact on students' learning motivation, where the majority of students reported increased enthusiasm and concentration in participating in learning after receiving nutritious food intake regularly. However, there are challenges in its implementation, such as the quality of distribution and the need for training for supporting staff. This study provides recommendations for related parties to improve collaboration between educational institutions, local governments, and logistics providers for the sustainability of the program, as well as implementing evaluation mechanisms to improve aspects that are less effective. In conclusion, the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) not only functions as a nutritional intervention, but also as an important strategy in improving the motivation and learning achievement of students in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the level of knowledge of oral and dental health and patient compliance in undergoing repeated treatment at one of the Joint Dental Practices in Sumedang. The research method used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The research sample consisted of 30 respondents randomly selected from patients undergoing repeated treatment. Data collection was carried out through an online questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, consisting of knowledge and compliance instruments. Data analysis used the chi-square test. The results showed a statistically significant relationship between knowledge of oral and dental health and patient compliance (p=0.031). A total of 46.67% of respondents were compliant, 40% were fairly compliant, and 13.33% were non-compliant. The majority of respondents had good knowledge (40%) and were dominated by women (70%), aged 18-30 years (56.67%), and had higher education (73.33%). The conclusion of this study is that good knowledge of oral and dental health plays an important role in increasing patient compliance with repeated treatment. Research recommendations include strengthening patient education and effective communication approaches by dental health workers.

Abstract

Anemia is a global health problem commonly experienced by adolescent girls, with serious implications for reproductive health and future pregnancies. This study aims to describe adolescent girls' knowledge about Iron Supplement Tablets (TTD) in preventing anemia and reproductive health. This descriptive-analytic study was conducted at SMAN 15 Bekasi City with a sample of 50 female students selected by purposive random sampling. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed descriptively. Results showed that all respondents (100%) knew the definition of anemia, 94% knew that the main cause of anemia is lack of iron intake, and 100% knew anemia symptoms such as difficulty concentrating and frequent drowsiness. 100% knew iron-rich foods, and 96% agreed to consume iron supplements during menstruation. However, only 46% knew all the long-term impacts of anemia. Conclusion: Adolescent girls' knowledge about anemia and TTD is good, but understanding of long-term impacts still needs to be improved through more intensive education.
