Abstract

Learning with discussion among friends in one table has been less effective. This condition makes the lowness of learning mathematics outcome. This research aims to determine whether there are differences outcome or not between using cooperative learning Pair Check (PC) type and using cooperative learning Think Pair Share (TPS) and comparing the effectiveness of cooperative learning Pair Check type and  Think Pair Share to the learning mathematics outcomes in class VII in second semester SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Gamping 2015/2016. The population in this research there are three class. Sampling takes two classes with a random sampling technique to the class. Collecting the data is done by the test method. Before analyzing the data, it takes the prerequisite test with contain normality test and homogeneity test. For testing the hypothesis of this research, it uses one side t-test with a significant level of 5%. The results of this research on a significant level of 5% and dk=72 show that there are differences in learning mathematics outcomes of the students who use cooperative learning model PC type and TPS type. It is shown by the value  and  which means  cooperative learning model PC type is more effective than the cooperative learning model TPS type to the learning mathematics outcomes of the students.  It is shown by the value of  and  which means.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya minat belajar siswa, kurang mendukungnya pergaulan teman sebaya dalam belajar matematika, dan rendahnya hasil belajar metematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara minat belajar dan pergaulan teman sebaya dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI TITL semester genap SMK Negeri 1 Pleret Kabupaten Bantul tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI TITL semester genap SMK Negeri 1 Pleret Kabupaten Bantul tahun ajaran 2017/2018, yang terdiri dari kelas XI TITL A, XI TITL B dan XI TITL C yang keseluruhan berjumlah 95 siswa. Sampel diambil dengan teknik random sampling terhadap kelas dan diperoleh kelas XI TITL C sebagai kelas sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode angket untuk memperoleh data minat belajar dan pergaulan teman sebaya serta metode tes untuk memperoleh hasil belajar matematika. Uji instrumen penelitian: uji validitas, uji daya beda, dan uji reliabilitas. Uji prasyarat analisis meliputi uji normalitas, uji linearitas, dan uji independensi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis product moment dan analisis regresi linear ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara minat belajar dan pergaulan teman sebaya dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI TITL semester genap SMK Negeri 1 Pleret Kabupaten Bantul tahun ajaran 2017/2018.

Abstract

Low student learning outcomes associated with many factories. The behavior of parent, discipline, and interest in learning are some of the factors associated with learning outcomes. The aim of this study to know there or not the relationship that positive and significant between the behavior of the parent, discipline, and interest in learning by mathematics learning outcomes of student class VII the state junior high school 5 Banguntapan Regency Bantul semester even at academic year 2015/2016. The Population in this research is all of students class VII that aggregate 4 classes. The sample taken from class VII D a class of research samples with a random sampling technic toward class. The aggregation data technic is doing with the questionnaire and test method. Test of research instrument: validity test, reliability test and power of different tests. Analysis prerequisite test includes a normality test, linearity test, and independent tests. Analysis of the data is using product correlation moment analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The result shows that there a positive and significant relation between: 1) behavior of parent by learning result of mathematics, with  Ŷ= -16,5147 + 0,6029X1; 2) discipline by learning result of mathematics, with  Ŷ= -23,4033 + 0,6410X2; 3) interest in learning by learning result of mathematics, with  Ŷ= 8,5553 + 0,4107X3 ; 4) behavior of parent and discipline by learning result of mathematics, with   Ŷ= -32,8843 + 0,2669X1+0,4879X2  as well as SR  X1=30,0072% and SR  X2= 69,9927%; 5) behavior of parent and interest in learning by learning result of mathematics, with  Ŷ= -29,6738 + 0,4842X1+0,2945X3 along with SR  X1=58,9627% and SR X3= 41,0373%;  6) discipline and interest in learning by learning result of mathematics, with  Ŷ= -33,3746+0,5354X2+0,2475X3 along with SR  X2= 70,6966% and SR X3= 29,3034%;  7) behavior of parent, discipline and interest in learning by learning result of mathematics, with  Ŷ= -41,5944 + 0,2252X1 + 0,4134X2 + 0,2306X3 with SR  X1= 22,1532%, SR  X2= 51,891% and SR X3 = 25,9558%.

Abstract

Many factors can influence the results of mathematics learning. Students' perceptions toward mathematics subject and learning motivation are some factors that are suspected of his relationship with the student's mathematics achievement. This study aims to determine whether there is any positive and significant relationship between students' perception of mathematics subject and learning motivation with mathematics learning achievement in class VIII of even semester Muhammadiyah Junior High School 9 Yogyakarta(SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Yogyakarta) academic year 2016/2017. This study population is all students in class VIII of even semester SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Yogyakarta academic year 2016/2017, which consists of 5 classes with a total of 165 students. The sampling class is using a random sampling technique so that obtained class VIIIC amounted to 34 students. The data collecting technique is using the questionnaire method and the test method. Test the instrument using validity test, differentiation power test, and reliability test. Test prerequisite analysis using tests of normality, independent test, and linearity test. Data analysis using regression analysis and correlation analysis. The results of this study indicate a positive and significant relationship between students' perception of mathematics and learning motivation with the mathematics achievement of students with  dan  so obtained  Multiple correlation coefficient (R) = 0,429 with coefficient of determination (R2) = 0,184 with linear regression equation . The relative contribution of (X1) = 31,897%, relative contribution of (X2) = 68,103%, effective contribution of (X1) = 5,867%, and effective contribution of (X2) = 12,526%.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are presumably influenced by several factors, including numerical ability, learning independence, and learning environment at home. This study aims to determine whether there is a positive and significant relation between numerical ability, learning independence, learning environment at home. Mathematics learning outcomes of grade VIII students of Junior High School (SMP) Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta, the Academic Year of 2017/2018. This study's population was grade VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta in 2017/2018. A random sampling technique was applied to take this research sample, which is grade VIII C students. The data on numerical ability and mathematics learning outcomes were obtained through tests. Simultaneously, the data of the learning independence and learning environment at home were obtained through questionnaires. The research instruments were tested using a validity test, differential test, and reliability test. Analysis prerequisite tests include normality, linearity, and independence test. Simple regression and multiple linear regression analyses were used to analyze the data. The results show a positive and significant relation between numerical ability, learning independence, learning environment at home. Mathematics learning outcomes of grade VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta in the Odd Semester of the Academic Year of 2017/2018. The F test results show . R = 0.495 and R2 = 0,245 with , with RC = 0.806%, RC =49.232% and RC = 49.962%. EC = 0.197%, EC = 12.064% and EC = 12.243%.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika yang digunakan di sekolah jarang dikaitkan dengan masalah yang kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektivan pembelajaran kontekstual terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII semester genap Di salah satu SMP Negeri di kabupaten Bantul tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Populasi penelitian suluruh siswa kelas VII. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling terhadap kelas. Diperoleh kelas VII B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII C sebagai kelas kontrol. Pada kelas eksperimen dilaksanakan pembelajaran kontekstual dan pada kelas kontrol dilaksanakan pembelajaran langsung. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa soal tes bentuk uraian. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t dua pihak dan uji-t satu pihak. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t dua pihak dengan taraf signifikan 5% dan dk = 58 diperoleh thitung = 2,2174 dan ttabel = 2,0024, sehingga thitung > ttabel menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa menggunakan pembelajaran kontekstual berbeda dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa menggunakan pembelajaran langsung. Dari uji-t satu pihak dengan taraf signifikan 5% dan dk = 58 diperoleh thitung =2,2174 dan ttabel = 1,6719, sehingga thitung > ttabel menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa menggunakan pembelajaran kontekstual lebih efektif daripada hasil belajar matematika siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran langsung.

Abstract

This study aims to determine more effective learning between mathematics learning using the cooperative learning model type to match mathematics learning using a direct learning model to students' mathematics learning outcomes. The population in this study were all eight grade students of Muhammadiyah Junior High School 2 Kalasan (SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Kalasan) in Academic Year 2016/2017, which consists of 5 classes. The sampling technique using a random sampling class and selected VIII E as an experimental class and VIII C as a control class. The data was collected used in the test method. Instrument testing used validity and reliability test. Data analysis techniques used for the analysis include the prerequisite test, normality test, and homogeneity test. To test the hypothesis in this study, a two-party t-test and one-party t-test with a significant level of 5% were tested. Based on mathematics learning result obtained that 1) tcount = 4,2948 and ttable = = 2,0650 which means > . This means that there is a difference in learning outcomes between learning mathematics using a cooperative learning model type. It makes a match with mathematics learning using a direct learning model of eight grade students of Muhammadiyah Junior High school 2 Kalasan (SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Kalasan) of even semester in Academic Year 2016/2017. 2)  tcount = 4,2948 and ttable = = 1,7116 which means tcount  > . This shows that the learning of mathematics with the cooperative learning model type make a match is more effective than the learning of mathematics using direct learning model towards mathematics learning outcomes in eight grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Kalasan of even semester in Academic Year 2016/2017.

Abstract

Learning centered on teachers caused students less active in following learning math.This study attempts to improve activity learned mathematics through learning model cooperative type Teams Games Tournament ( TGT ) on a student VIII c odd semester SMP muhammadiyah pleret bantul academic year 2016 / 2017. The research is the act of class research ( PTK).A subject in this research is VIII  students class c junior muhammadiyah pleret district bantul odd semester academic year 2016 /2017.Whereas the object investigated in this study is the application of the cooperative model learning type Teams Games Tournament ( TGT ) on grade students VIII C odd semester SMP muhammadiyah pleret academic year 2016 / 2017. The research was done as many as three cycles. Data was gathered using sheets of observation, and an interview .Data analysis used is descriptive qualitative. The result showed that through learning model cooperative type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) could jazz up the activity learned mathematics graders VIII C odd semester SMP muhammadiyah pleret bantul academic year 2016 / 2017. This is apparent from the observation students sheets activity was increasing ever cycle, at the cycle I the percentage of activity students 50,39 % on enough, the percentage of students II activity of 53,88 % on good, the percentage of students III activity of 70,81 % on good. From the pieces, observation activity was also was increasing every cycle. From the interviews obtained information that students interested in general and who love in learning math.

Abstract

Kerjasama siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika pada kelas VIII E SMP Negeri 3 Kasihan Kabupaten Bantul tahun ajaran 2017/2018 masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kerjasama siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika pada kelas VIII E SMP Negeri 3 Kasihan Kabupaten Bantul tahun ajaran 2017/2018 melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri atas dua siklus. Setting penelitian ini adalah setting kelas VIII E SMP Negeri 3 Kasihan Kabupaten Bantul semester genap tahun ajaran 2017/2018 dengan jumlah siswa 26 yang terdiri dari 15 siswa laki-laki dan 11 siswa perempuan. Metode pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan catatan lapangan. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Teknik analisis data berupa analisis data deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran koopertaif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan kerjasama siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil observasi yang menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan kerjasama siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Pada siklus I rata-rata kerjasama siswa mencapai 52,78% dengan kriteria cukup. Sedangkan pada siklus II rata-rata kerjasama siswa meningkat menjadi 73,81% dengan kriteria baik.

Abstract

Teachers are required to innovate in the learning process, which is a determinant of students' ability to understand the classroom materials. One of the innovations is to make learning media, but in reality, the availability of available media is still limited. The research aims to design, create, and describe whether or not the Development of E-Learning Based Mathematics Learning Media using Moodle for Student Class VII of Junior High School (SMP) in Subject Matter of Algebra. This research is focused on the development of mathematics learning media, which is packaged in internet form. This development research using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). His research subjects are material experts, media experts, and student's responses of SMP 1 Muhammadiyah Prambanan and SMP Muhammadiyah 17 Prambanan Klaten. Data analysis techniques use qualitative analysis and quantitative values. Data collection techniques used questionnaires. The research instruments used material expert questionnaires and instructional media experts as well as student response questionnaires. This research has succeeded in developing math learning media that have Good Quality (GQ). With the average score of an expert material assessment, 85,667 have Excellent Quality (EQ), and the average score of media expert assessment results was 38,333 with GQ. While the student response score 65,2 has EQ with scores on small class trials and 62,122 large class trials with GQ. Based on these assessments, this math learning media is worthed to be used as a learning resource.
