To present the findings, a qualitative descriptive study is applied as the research design. The documentation method is used to collect 36 Bandung hotel slogans. It appears that the relational process is the most dominant in the hotel slogan clauses in order to represent their brand to affect the customer’s mind.

Thus, using corpus linguistic analysis method, which are keyword and concordance analysis, this study aims to investigate the significant topic of corpus containing #CharlieHebdo. The tweet corpus which contains 8.604 tweets and retweets and words in total are 177.352 tokens (words) was constructed from the tweets scrapped by the researcher using Python and Twitter API. Abstract

A material process may show something that has been done physically between two entities, in the clauses or texts. It shows who (or what) is the actor that does the action, if possible, to the goal (or, range), as the participant in the news. This research explained the words as material processes in clauses and the function of their appearance in the online news based on its features of transitivity as part of Systemic Functional Linguistics through the contexts. A descriptive qualitative method was used to explain the processes. The material processes in the text were analyzed based on types of processes of transitivity in Systemic Functional Linguistics study. There are fifty-one material processes found in the text, consists of thirty-seven processes of doing (composed by the creative and the dispositive processes), and fourteen processes of happening. Material processes that were used in the news text show the material actions done by entities (animate or inanimate objects), written from the point of view of the news writer(s). By this research, it can be seen that material processes are very useful for text writing, such as giving more colors, drawing more interest from the readers, giving different word meaning in different contexts, and giving more meaning to the context itself.

A text's cohesion can be seen through the thematic progression used in the text itself. Thematic progression patterns can be divided into three patterns, namely zigzag theme patterns, reiteration theme patterns, and multiple theme patterns. This research is concerned about the identification of that-clause as a noun clause in a novel entitled “Stories for Rainy Days”. This research aims to identify the syntactic function of that-clause and to identify the syntactic category of words or phrases that consisted of that-clause form. The analyzed data presented in this research is limited to 5 data. In regards to identifying the syntactic function of that-clause, the research utilizes the theory from Quirk (2010) and Klammer (2000). To analyze the syntactic category of words or phrases consist of that-clause form, this research implements theory from Alwasilah (1993). For the method of the research, this research applies qualitative descriptive method. Additionally, the finding of this research shows that that-clause can act as a subject, direct object, subject complement, adjective complement, and appositive. Abstract

Natural disasters are unexpected events caused by nature, including earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, droughts, floods, volcanic eruptions, landslides and hurricanes. From the several examples of natural disasters above, of course there are a lot of losses in various fields, one of which is in agriculture, with the negative impacts that exist, there needs to be countermeasures to anticipate these negative impacts. One of the steps we can take after a natural disaster occurs to reduce these losses is to mitigate risks. Risk mitigation itself is breaking down (diversifying) into smaller risk parts, and forming an investment portfolio. At training this time, we as a team will provide counseling to MI Cipicung students entitled "Training in Mitigating the Risk of Economic Loss through Diversification and Insurance in the Agricultural Business Sector of Tasikmalaya Regency".
