Abstract

ABSTRAK            Penelitian bertujuan mempelajari seberapa besarpengaruhpenambahan enzim fitase dalam ransum untuk memperbaiki status protein dan kalsium darah serta rasio heterofil limfosit pada ayam broiler. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Parameter yang diamati meliputi kalsium darah, protein darah dan rasio heterofil limfosit. Materi yang digunakan adalah ayam broiler day old chick (DOC) strain MP 202 sebanyak 128 ekordengan bobot 104,16+13,17g, ransum tunggal, air minum, obat dan vitamin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada pengaruh nyata (P>0,05) perlakuan pada pemberian enzim fitase terhadap kalsium darah, tetapi pada protein darah dan rasio heterofil limfosit terdapat pengaruh nyata (P<0,05) pada pemberian enzim fitase dalam ransum dengan level protein berbeda. Kesimpulan bahwa pemberian enzim fitase dapat memperbaiki kadar protein darah dan rasio heterofil limfosit dan tidak mempengaruhi kalsium darah.Kata Kunci : broiler; Fitase; asam fitat; kalsium; protein darah; rasio heterofil limfosit.ABSTRACT            This research was aimed to study the effect of adding the enzyme phytasein the chicken diet to improve the status of protein and calcium as well as the ratio of heterophile lymphocytes in the chickens. This study was used a Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 4 replications. The parameters that are observed includes calcium in the blood, protein in blood and heterophile/lymphocyte ratio. The materials used are 128 broiler Day Old Chicks (DOC) strain MP202 with avarage weights 104,16+13,17g, of single food, water, medicines and vitamins. The results showed that there is no significant effect (P>0.05) of giving phytase enzyme in feed with different protein levels on the calcium in blood, but it shows significant effect on proteins and heterophile/lymphocyte ratio (P<0.05). The conclusions that the addition of phytase enzyme can improve the level of protein in the blood, and the ratio of heterophyl lymphocytes but does not affect the calcium in blood.Keywords: broiler; phytase Enzyme; phytic acid; calcium; proteins; heterophile lymphocyte ratio.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan tepung rumput laut G. verrucosa terfermentasi dalam ransum terhadap performans ayam broiler. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan November-Desember 2013 di Kandang Fakultas Peternakan dan Pertanian Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang. Materi yang digunakan adalah 150 ekor ayam broiler jantan dan betina umur 7 hari dengan bobot badan rata-rata 163,38 ± 24,67 g (CV 3,04). Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 6 ulangan yang tiap unit percobaan diisi 5 ekor ayam broiler. Perlakuan pakan yang diterapkan adalah T0 (penggunaan 0% tepung rumput laut), T1 (penggunaan 5% tepung rumput laut), T2 (penggunaan 5% tepung rumput laut terfermentasi), T3 (penggunaan 7,5% tepung rumput laut terfenmentasi), T4 (penggunaan 10% tepung rumput laut terfermentasi). Pemberian pakan diberikan secara adlibitum dan terkontrol. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini meliputi : pertambahan bobot badan, konsumsi ransum dan konversi ransum. Data dianalisis ragam menggunakan uji F dan dilanjutkan uji Duncan jika ada pengaruh perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi ransum, pertambahan bobot badan dan konversi ransum. Kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan tepung rumput laut G. verrucosa terfermentasi dapat digunakan dalam ransum ayam broiler sampai dengan 10%. Research using completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 6 replicates of each experimental unit filled 5 broiler chickens. Feed treatment applied is T0 (use 0% seaweed meal), T1 (use 5% seaweed meal), T2 (use 5% meal fermented seaweed), T3 (7.5% use meal fermented seaweed), T4 (use 10% meal fermented seaweed). Feeding adlibitum administered and controlled. Parameters observed in this study include: weight gain, feed intake and feed conversion. Data were analyzed using a variety of testing and continued F Duncan test if the effect of treatment. The results showed that the treatment had no significant effect (P> 0.05) on feed consumtion, body weight gain and feed conversion. Conclusion that the use of meal seaweed (Gracilaria verrucosa) fermented can be used in broiler rations up to 10%. Keyword : Broiler Chicken; Seaweed; Performans
