Abstract

This research is aimed to examine the gender difference toward intention to use the mobile banking application in Semarang. Data is collected by self -  administered questionnaire, and pass over to bank customer which done their financial transaction by Automatic Teller Machine. The Sample used in this research is 50 respondents, consist of 30 male respondents and 20 female respondents who never have a mobile banking application before. The results of this study indicate that there is a gender difference in the intention to use mobile banking applications. On the other side, even it is easy to be used, female customers are not feeling the benefit offered, thus resistant to use mobile banking applications. This result brings another contradiction toward The Technological Acceptance Model. Data is examined by the SPSS application, and Mann – Whitney statistical model.Keywords: Mobile application; bank; gender difference

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of the study is to compare SMEs in Indonesia and Malaysia regarding the implementation of information technology, especially on the sustainable competitive advantage factors, IT adoption, perceived simplicity, green technology capability, and performance. Design/Methods/Approach: Survey data are collected from 269 SME leaders and managers SMEs in Indonesia and 241 respondents in Malaysia. The sampling model is purposive sampling while analysis involved a non-parametric test (Mann-Whitney U-test).  Findings:  The results show that there are significant differences for the variables SCA, SMEs performance expectation, and IT adoption. There are no significant differences between Indonesian and Malaysian SMEs for the variables of perceived simplicity and green technology capability. Originality: The paper contributes to the growing research on information technology implementation by using factors within Sustainable Competitive Advantage, IT adoption, perceived simplicity, green technology capability, and performance. Practical/Policy implication: This finding can encourage SMEs in Indonesia and Malaysia to work together to develop important variables to improve the implementation of information technology to increase competitiveness.

Abstract

The development of information technology has a significant impact on almost all activities in various fields,such as shopping. The perceived benefit and lower risk factors are significant factors for shopping on the Internet.However, the problem in shopping activities is the security risk factor in transactions and the lack of publicknowledge and trust. There is a research gap in the relationship between perceived benefits and risks with purchaseintention. Based on the phenomenon, the research aimed to investigate and test the attitude toward mobileshopping as a mediating variable at the relationship between perceived usefulness and perceived risk againstrepurchase intention. The research applied a quantitative approach to explain the relationship between researchvariables. The used sampling technique was purposive sampling with several criteria, with a total sample of 200mobile shopping users in Central Java. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The obtained datawere processed using the SPSS 16. The results show that perceived usefulness and perceived risk affect attitudein mobile shopping and repurchase intention significantly. Then, attitude toward mobile shopping also influencerepurchase intention. Last, it also finds that attitude toward mobile shopping can mediate the relationship betweenperceived usefulness and perceived risk against repurchase intention.

Abstract

Terciptanya pendidikan yang berkualitas diperlukan kinerja guru untuk berbagi pengetahuan yaitu dengan menyumbangkan pengetahuan kepada guru lainnya (knowledge donating) sehingga mampu melibatkan peran yang berbeda terkait dengan penyedia dan peneriman pengetahuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris dan menganalisis pengaruh self efficacy dan kompetensi profesional terhadap kinerja guru denga knowledge donating sebagai variabel intervening. Hasil penyebaran kuesioner kepada 119 guru pada Sekolah Yayasan Islam Teuku Umar Semarang diperoleh jumlah sampel sebesar 98 responden. Alat analisisnya adalah Partial Least Square.Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa self efficacy dan kompetensi profesional mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap knowledge donating. Sedangkan self efficacy, kompetensi profesional dan knowledge donating juga terbukti berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru. Knowledge donating terbukti mampu menjadi variabel intervening antara self efficacy dan kompetensi profesional terhadap kinerja guru.The creation of quality education requires the performance of teachers to share knowledge by contributing knowledge to other teachers (knowledge donating) so as to be able to involve different roles related to the provider and recipient of knowledge. This study aims to examine empirically and analyze the effect of self efficacy and professional competence on teacher performance with knowledge donation as an intervening variable. The results of distributing questionnaires to 119 teachers at the Teuku Umar Islamic Foundation School Semarang obtained a sample of 98 respondents. The analysis tool is Partial Least Square.The test results show that self efficacy and professional competence have a positive influence on knowledge donating. While self efficacy, professional competence and knowledge donation also proved to have an effect on teacher performance. Knowledge donation proved to be able to be an intervening variable between self efficacy and professional competence on teacher performance.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabmas ini adalah merubah pola pikir dari anggota unit simpan pinjam ALDEWIS dari pola konsuntif menjadi berorientasi tujuan produktif dengan tolok ukur yang bisa digunakan adalah berapa banyak dari jumlah anggota ALDEWIS yang mempunyai unit usaha informal sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan abdimas dilaksanakan, membangun jejaring dengan instansi terkait seperti lembaga-lembaga social (Lembaga zakat, dll) untuk menambah kapasitas jumlah dana yang disalurkan baik secara kuantitas maupun kualitas, memotivasi para anggota ALDEWIS untuk hidup sederhana dan gemar menabung dan memotivasi para anggota ALDEWIS untuk melakukan usaha dengan keputusan yang terinformasikan, dalam arti sudah mempertimbangakan informasi keuangan yang relefan serta aspek-aspek maqosid syariah.Pengabmas ini dilakukan dengan kegiatan dengan konsep berbasis diskusi interaktif untuk semua anggota unit simpan pinjam ALDEWIS, dengan fokus utama untuk memotivasi para anggota ALDEWIS, untuk pemanfaatan dana pinjaman berorientasi produktif dan tidak semata-mata konsumtif. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan konsep berbasis kelompok, dengan satu kelompok terdiri dari 5 orang Ibu RT dengan fokus utama pada kegiatan produksi dan marketing produk jajanan pensupply warung angkringan di wilayah perumahan Pucanggading. Pengabmas ini menggunakan pendekatan yang komprehensif, karena melibatkan kelompok Ibu RT anggota unit simpan pinjam ALDEWIS, tim FE Unissula, LPPM Unissula.

Abstract

Market orientation is a way for companies to focus on customers so that customers continue to buy company products. Agility is an important ability of a company to increase a sustainable competitive advantage. This study was conducted based on the decline in batik sales in Pekalongan and the existence of a research gap on the relationship between market orientation and marketing performance. This paper aims to test empirically the mediating effect of agility on the relationship between market orientation and marketing performance. Data were collected from 190 SMEs in Pekalongan. The result shows that market orientation significantly affects agility and marketing performance, and agility significantly affects marketing performance. Furthermore, agility mediates the correlation between market orientation and marketing performance. The Marketing performance of Batik SMEs can be improved by developing market orientation and agility simultaneously. The role of market orientation in improving marketing performance will be more effective if it is done indirectly through agility.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara empiris pengaruh Islamic Work Ethics, Spiritual Leadership dan Perceived Organizational Support terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior dengan Komitmen Afektif sebagai variabel intervening pada pegawai di Pengadilan Tinggi Jawa Tengah. Populasi yang digunakan adalah pegawai Pengadilan Tinggi Jawa Tengah dengan jumlah sampel sebesar 98 responden. Alat analisisnya adalah Partial Least Square. Urgensi penelitian ini adalah adanya perubahan dalam restrukturisasi organisasi yaitu pemisahan struktur kesekretariatan dan kepaniteraan pengadilan yang berdampak pada disharmonis hubungan Ketua dan Sekretaris, yang mempengaruhi rendahnya perilaku pegawai untuk mau bekerja secara ekstra role dalam menjalankan tugasnya, seperti saling bantu membantu dan bekerja sama dengan sesama pegawai. Kebaruan dalam penelitian ini adalah penambahan variabel komitmen afektif sebagai variabel mediasi dalam hubungan antara Islamic Work Ethics, Spiritual Leadership dan Perceived Organizational Support dengan Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa Islamic Work Ethics, Spiritual Leadership dan Perceived Organizational Support berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Komitmen Afektif. Islamic Work Ethics, Spiritual Leadership, Perceived Organizational Support dan Komitmen Afektif berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Komitmen Afektif mampu menjadi variabel intervening antara Islamic Work Ethics terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Komitmen Afektif mampu menjadi variabel intervening antara Spiritual Leadership terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Komitmen Afektif mampu menjadi variabel intervening antara Perceived Organizational Support terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior.This study aims to examine and analyze empirically the influence of Islamic Work Ethics, Spiritual Leadership and Perceived Organizational Support on Organizational Citizenship Behavior with Affective Commitment as an intervening variable on employees at the Central Java High Court. The population used is the employees of the Central Java High Court with a total sample of 98 respondents. The analysis tool is Partial Least Square.  The urgency of this research is that there is a change in organizational restructuring, namely the separation of the secretarial structure and court clerkship which has an impact on the disharmony of the relationship between the Chair and the Secretary, which affects the behavior of employees to want to work extra roles in carrying out their duties, such as helping each other and working together with fellow employees. The novelty in this research is the addition of affective commitment variable as a mediating variable in the relationship between Islamic Work Ethics, Spiritual Leadership and Perceived Organizational Support with Organizational Citizenship Behavior. The test results show that Islamic Work Ethics, Spiritual Leadership and Perceived Organizational Support have a significant positive effect on Affective Commitment. Islamic Work Ethics, Spiritual Leadership, Perceived Organizational Support and Affective Commitment have a significant positive effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Affective Commitment can be an intervening variable between Islamic Work Ethics and Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Affective Commitment can be an intervening variable between Spiritual Leadership and Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Affective commitment can be an intervening variable between Perceived Organizational Support and Organizational Citizenship Behavior.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran budaya organisasi, keterlibatan kerja personil, dan Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) terhadap kinerja personil Polri di Ditreskrimsus Polda Banten. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksplanatori yang bersifat asosiatif, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dua variabel atau lebih. Populasi penelitian meliputi seluruh SDM Subdit I Industri Perdagangan Ditreskrimsus Polda Banten, yang berjumlah 134 personil, terdiri dari 131 anggota personil dan 3 PNS Polri. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling, dengan responden yang berjumlah 131 anggota personil. Pengukuran variabel dilakukan melalui kuesioner pribadi dengan skala Likert 1-5, di mana pernyataan berkisar dari Sangat Tidak Setuju (STS) hingga Sangat Setuju (SS). Analisis data menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin optimal implementasi budaya organisasi, semakin baik pula perilaku Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Selain itu, peningkatan budaya organisasi juga berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan kinerja pelayanan. Keterlibatan kerja yang tinggi berhubungan positif dengan peningkatan perilaku OCB, yang pada gilirannya turut meningkatkan kinerja pelayanan personil Polri. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa peningkatan budaya organisasi dan keterlibatan kerja dapat memperkuat perilaku OCB dan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan personil Polri.
