Abstract

This research focuses on the development of Differential Evolution(DE) algorithmto solve m-machine flow shopscheduling problems with respect to both makespan and total flow time. Development of DE algorithm is done by modifyingthe adaptive parameter determination procedure in order to change the value of adaptive parameters in each generation,adding local search strategy to the algorithm in order to improve the quality of the resulting solutions, as ewell as modifyingthe crossover in order to reduce computation time. The result indicates that the proposed DE algorithm has proven to bebetter than the original DE algorithm, Genetic Algorithm (GA), and for certain cases it also out performs Multi-ObjectiveAnt Colony System Algorithm (MOCSA).

Abstract

This study presenting the result of forecasting sales of Hex Nuts between the Trend Linear Line (TLL) method and Monte Carlo Simulation. To determine the appropriate method, the Mean Average Percentage Error (MAPE) is used to evaluate theerror rate. We find that the Monte Carlo simulation outperforms the TTL method, where the MAPE value of the Monte Carlo simulation is 7,61%. Based on the result, the Monte Carlo simulation is the appropriate method to forecast the sales rate of Hex Nuts in the PT. KMS.

Abstract

Penjadwalan produksi merupakan bagian integral di dalam sistem manufaktur. Artikel ini menyelesaikan permasalahan penjadwalan flow shop dengan fungsi obyektif total flow time. Dalam penjadwalan, total flow time menghasilkan konsumsi yang stabil terhadap sumber daya, perputaran job yang cepat serta meminimalkan work in process inventory. Permasalahan penjadwalan flow shop tergolong pada permasalahan optimasi kombinatorial yang merupakan NP-hard. Saat ini, penggunaan algoritma metaheuristik banyak digunakan untuk memecahkan kasus optimasi kombinatorial, termasuk penjadwalan flow shop. Salah satu yang memiliki performa yang baik adalah Algoritma Differential Evolution. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas solusinya, Algoritma Differential Evolution akan ditambahkan dengan prosedur local search yang dinamakan Hybrid Differential Evolution. Untuk mengetahui performa dari algoritma tersebut, dilakukan pengujian menggunakan data penjadwalan flow shop yang ada pada OR-Library. Performa Hybrid Differential Evolution akan dibandingkan dengan algoritma lain. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa Hybrid Differential Evolution memberikan performa yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan algoritma lain.

Abstract

The quality of vocational school teachers is seen as needing to be improved. This is shown by the high number of vocational school teachers who do not yet have teaching or skill competency certificates. Educator certification indicates that the teacher has been declared to have met the requirements and passed the competency test to become a professional teacher. On the other hand, a skills competency certificate indicates vocational school teachers who are experts in their skills competency in terms of concept and knowledge structure. The problem is that not all teachers have the opportunity to take part in programs/training organized by the government or private sector to improve their mastery of scientific concepts and structures. The community service implementation team from the UM Automotive Engineering Education Undergraduate study program provides training specifically for automotive engineering teachers at vocational schools to transfer the latest knowledge related to automotive advanced, namely CAN Bus, to increase teachers' mastery of concepts and structures. Training methods include site surveys, formulating training materials, making schedules, preparing tools and materials, and training instructors up to evaluation. The CAN Bus training was held offline in accordance with health protocols, and the result was an increase in teachers' mastery of concepts and knowledge structures as evidenced by the mean posttest score (70.29) > mean pretest score (62.11), and the difference was real Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 at 0.05. Apart from that, from the resource person's explanation, the teacher knows how to teach CAN Bus to students.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the safety of the production process at the Lumpia Jeng Nenny micro/small/medium enterprises (MSMEs) located in Dusun Krajan, Sukorejo, Pasuruan, by developing a light fire extinguisher made from cassava skin (SIPAR: Singkong APAR). The methods used include location surveys, collecting data on partner needs, developing SIPAR products through preparation of materials and production processes, socialization and training of product use to partners. The development results show that SIPAR is not only able to extinguish fires in seconds, but is also environmentally friendly and of course safe for beginners. By implementing SIPAR, the "Lumpia Jeng Nenny" business has significantly increased safety during the production process without incurring costs. However, the effectiveness of SIPAR needs to be further evaluated in large-scale fires. Therefore, further development needs to be carried out to improve the effectiveness and stability of SIPAR products. This community service is expected to be an inspiring example and provide safety solutions for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and encourage the creation of natural material innovations.

Abstract

Pada data historis permintaan menunjukkan adanya stockout pada material utama dalam pelayanan pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan permintaan material per hari pada bulan Januari–Desember 2023 dengan Simulasi Monte Carlo, menentukan kuantitas pemesanan yang ekonomis, reorder point dan safety stock menggunakan metode EOQ probabilistik dan membandingkan total biaya persediaan material hasil penelitian dengan kondisi saat ini. Analisis dilakukan dengan dua metode yang mengkombinasikan metode Simulasi Monte Carlo untuk memprediksi jumlah permintaan pelanggan listrik 3 fasa harian di masa yang akan datang dan EOQ Probabilistik untuk menentukan kuantitas pemesanan yang ekonomis, titik pemesanan kembali dan persediaan pengaman. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan metode Simulasi Monte Carlo pada material kWh METER 5-80 A, MCB 16 A, MCB 25 A, CABLE POWER NFA2X-T 3X70+1X70 berturut-turut diperoleh 1076 unit, 321 unit, 340 unit, 99.020 meter. Pada analisis EOQ Probabilistik diketahui kuantitas pemesanan yang ekonomis pada kWh METER 5-80 A, MCB 16 A, MCB 25 A, CABLE POWER NFA2X-T 3X70+1X70 berturut-turut sejumlah 72 unit, 47 unit, 48 unit 4000 meter. Selanjutnya, pada persediaan pengaman material kWh METER 5-80 A, MCB 16 A, MCB 25 A, CABLE POWER NFA2X-T 3X70+1X70 berturut-turut sejumlah 12 unit, 5 unit, 7 unit dan 1518 meter. Serta titik pemesanan kembali material kWh METER 5-80 A, MCB 16 A, MCB 25 A, CABLE POWER NFA2X-T 3X70+1X70 berturut-turut sejumlah 73 unit, 54 unit, 53 unit. Pada material kWh METER 5-80 A, MCB 16A, MCB 25A,CABLE POWER NFA2X-T 3X70+1X70 penurunan biaya persediaan berturut-turut sebesar Rp9.400.394, Rp117.629, Rp87.462, Rp2.575.183.

Abstract

Menejemen Usaha Busana (MUB) Modiste merupakan mata kuliah yang diselenggarakan Program Studi Tata Busana D3 maupun S1.Tujuan penelitian  untuk   (1) mengetahui pelaksanaan model pembelajaran pada MUB Modiste berkaitan dengan komponen konteks, (2) mengetahui  efektivitas  model pembelajaran Teaching Factory- enam Model pada tahap input yang berhubungan dengan teknis pengelolaan, administrasi, alokasi waktu serta sarana dan prasarana. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkatketerlaksanaan suatu kebijakan secaracermat dengan cara mengetahui efektivitasmasing-masing komponen yang dievaluasidengan pendekatan model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pembelajaran MUB Modiste terlaksana karena telah memiliki landasan yuridis berupa kurikulum, sesuai dengan visi misi program studi, (2) pembelajaran MUB Modiste didukung oleh aspek teknis pelaksanaan yang rinci dan konsisten, alokasi waktu pelaksanaan yang memadai untuk pelaksanaan pembelajaran usaha, administrasi yang standar sesuai yang berlaku serta sarana prasarana yang memadai, (3) aspek proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran MUB Modiste telah didukung oleh kompetensi dosen yang sesuai dan memadai, serta dalam prosesnya memiliki model yang sesuai dengan standar dan tujuan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis perencanaan kapasitas pada proses produksi Pressure Vessel di PT. Boma Bisma Indra (BBI) yang sering mengalami keterlambatan pengiriman meski karyawan bekerja lembur. Permasalahan utama berasal dari sistem perencanaan produksi berbasis make to order tanpa peramalan permintaan jangka panjang dan tanpa evaluasi kesesuaian kapasitas. Metode Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) dengan Bill of Labor Approach (BOLA) digunakan untuk menilai ketersediaan kapasitas terhadap Master Production Schedule (MPS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas kelayakan kapasitas yaitu Load Capacity (LC) bernilai negatif, menandakan kapasitas tersedia tidak mampu memenuhi permintaan. Kondisi ini berimplikasi pada tingginya beban kerja, biaya produksi, serta keterlambatan pengiriman. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan perencanaan jangka panjang oleh Perusahaan yang mempertimbangkan tren permintaan, ketersediaan bahan baku, efisiensi produksi, serta evaluasi berkala guna mengoptimalkan kapasitas dan meningkatkan ketepatan pengiriman. Perhitungan RCCP dengan pendekatan BOLA di PT. BBI secara langsung mengidentifikasi kesenjangan antara kapasitas total yang dibutuhkan dan kapasitas yang tersedia, sehingga analisis dapat dilakukan secara agregat tanpa perlu memecah per stasiun kerja.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a key foundation for the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, expanding market access and improving business efficiency. However, many MSMEs—especially those in the micro-scale batik handicraft sector—still face obstacles in digital adaptation, such as low technological literacy, limited infrastructure, and a lack of relevant branding strategies. This community service activity aims to empower MSMEs through visual and digital transformation to strengthen their brand image (branding) and expand technology-based market access. The approach used includes digital literacy training, visual rebranding assistance, website-based company profile creation, and marketing optimization through marketplaces and social media. Furthermore, artificial intelligence (AI) technology was applied to efficiently create visual promotional content. The activity results showed an increase in participants' abilities in visual identity management, brand narrative development, and digital platform utilization. Partner MSMEs experienced increased market reach and brand professionalism, and were able to integrate digital marketing processes with promotional cost efficiencies of up to 40%. This activity demonstrates that visual and digital transformation plays a significant role in strengthening the sustainability and competitiveness of local MSMEs in the technology-driven economy.
