Abstract

Abstract : The aim of this research is to improve the students learning achievement on the subject colloids with implementation Planted Questions active strategies. Kind of research was an experiment research with randomized control pretest-posttest group design. Retrieval of data starting from May - June 2015 in SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. Samples of research are class XI science 3 as the experiment class (applied Planted Questions active strategies) and class XI science 4 as the control class (with ordinary learning) were randomly selected after normality test and homogeneity test. Data collection method used is the testing techniques. The analysis techniques consist of 3 techniques that are normality test was used Liliefors test to verify data is normally distributed, homogeneity test was used variance test and t-test to see same ability learning of samples, and hypothesis test was used t-test to validate the hypothesis. Based on the hypothesis test obtained tcount> ttable is 2,561 > 1,668. The meaning that the implementation of Planted Questions active strategies can improve students achievement on the subject of colloids in class XI science SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. The improvement of students learning achievement in the experiment class was supported by the influence coefficient value of 8,57%.Keywords: Colloid, Active Strategies, Learning Achievement, Planted Questions.

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to increase student learning achievement on the topic of hidrocarbon in class X Senior High School (SMAN) 9 Pekanbaru. LKS comic dressed student is able to stimulate the brain while reading it, because it displays images that are not boring for students. The research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students of class X5 as the experimental class and students of class X6 as the control class. Experimental class is a class that is applied to comic worksheet while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on data analysis of data obtained tcount> ttable is 2.75>1.66, means that worksheet use of comics can improve student learning achievement on the topic of hidrocarbon in class X Senior High School (SMAN) 9 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment class was high category with N-gain normalized is 0,73. Meanwhile, the category improvement of student achievement in control class was medium category with N-gain normalized is 0,62.Keywords : Learning Achievement, LKS Comic, and Hidrocarbon

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to increase student achievement on the subject of Acid-Bases Solution in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Kandis. Form of research is experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, XI IPA1 as an experiment class and XI IPA2 as a control class randomly selected after tests of normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was given to applied strategy active learning quick on the draw, the control class was not applied strategy active learning quick on the draw. Data analysis technique is used t-test. Based on the results of final processing data use t-test formula obtained  tcount>ttable is  2,24 >1,67, it means that the applying of applied strategy active learning quick on the draw can improve student achievement on the subject of acid bases solution in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Kandis. The calculation of effect size resulted on student achievement was 7,93%.  Keywords: Quick On The Draw, Student achievement, Acid-Bases solution

Abstract

Abstract : Teaching materials chemistry constructivism oriented is the teaching materials have a structure of the content in the form of the introduction (the standard of competence, basic competence, indicators and the learning objectives), subject matter (description of the material ,table stuffing, pictures and illustrations) and student activities (matter ,conclusion ,sheet experiment) were prepared based approach constructivism to direct students to use the knowledge they had before to reach a conclusion of new knowledge as a whole. Through the calculation, the value of r is 0.07148513 thus obtained Kp rates at 7.15 % . This shows that the use of Instructional Materials Chemistry Constructivism Oriented On Salt Hydrolysis Improving Learning Enhancement Student Class XI IPA at SMAN 1 Kateman Indragiri Hilir at 7.15%. The use of teaching materials oriented constructivism influence on student learning enhancement. Constructivist-oriented teaching materials are intended to support students' active learning process that is useful to establish the knowledge and understanding that will affect student learning enhancement.Keywords: constructivism, learning material, knowledge

Abstract

Abstract: Development of learning media based on Visual Basic 6.0 on the topic rate of reaction has been done. Development of learning media to get a valid learning media. The research and development method used ADDIE models which consists of five stages are analysis, design, development, implement and evaluate. Data collected technique used validation sheet was given to three validators (two of media expert and a matter experts). The results showed score of the designing aspectswas 3,73; pedagogic aspects was 4; the content aspects was 3,83; the ease of use aspects was 3,93.Average score overall validation of learning media based on Visual Basic 6.0 on the topic rate of reactionwas3,87.Average score overall validation of learning media based on Visual Basic 6.0 show that this media is valid and can be use in learning process.Key Words: Learning Media, Visual Basic 6.0, Rate of Reaction

Abstract

Abstrack: The research aims to increase student learning achievement on the subject structure of atoms and the periodic system of elements in class XI science SMAN 1 Kateman Inhil. This research was of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the XI science 1 as the experimental group and XI science 2 class as the control group. In experimental group was applied cooperative learning type Student Facilitator and Explaining model, while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on analysis data tcount>ttable is 4,83 > 1,67, means that the application of model cooperative learning type Student Facilitator and Explaining can improve student achievement on the subject structure of atoms and the periodic system of elements in class XI science SMAN 1 Kateman Inhil by category increase achievement (N-Gain) high at 0.72.Keywords: Learning Achievement, Cooperative type Student Facilitator and Explaining, Atomic Structure and Element of the Periodic System.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve student’s achievement on reduction oxidation reactions subject through an application of question card media in class X SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. The conducted research type is quasi experimental study using Design Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest. Sample of the research consisted of two classes, a class X1 as an experimental class (implemented question card media) and class X2 as the control class (without question card media). T-test was used as analysis technique. Based on the data analysis obtained t>ttable ie 2.21>1.66,meaning that the application of question card media can improve the student achievement on the subject reduction oxidation reaction in class X SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student achievement in experiment class was medium category with a score gain normalized is 0,50.KeyWords: Question Card Media, learning Achievement, Reduction Oxidation Reaction

Abstract : The research on application of active learning method Learning Starts With A Question (LSQ) has been done to improve of student achievement on the subject of Atomic Structure in class X SMAN 11 Pekanbaru. Form of the research is experimental research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consist of two classes, namely class   X IPA 4 as the experimental and class X IPA 2 as control class which randomly selected after had tested normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was given implementing active learning method Learning Starts With A Question (LSQ) while the control class was not given implementing active learning method Learning Starts With A Question (LSQ). Data analysis technique used the t-test. Based on the result of the final data processing t-test formula obtained tarithmetic>ttable (1,97 > 1,67) means the application of active learning method Learning Starts With A Question (LSQ) can improve student achievement on the subject of Atomic Structure in class X SMAN 11 Pekanbaru, with an increase of 5,59%.
