Abstract

Sago starch processing industry in the village Plajan leaving solid waste that pollute the environment. Solid sago waste still contains carbohydrates ± 84.7%, which can be used as a base  material  for  bioethanol  production.  Giving  amylase  enzyme  in  this  study  aims  to optimize the starch hydrolysis process into glucose so as to increase the levels of bioethanol. The purpose of this  study was to determine the effect of amylase enzyme with different volumes on levels of bioethanol. The research methods include hydrolysis, fermentation and distillation.  The  study design  used  was  completely randomized  design  (CRD)  with  four treatments. Such treatment is A = 0 ml of α-amylase and glucoamylase 0 ml (control), B = 2 ml α-amylase and 2 ml of glucoamylase, C = 4 ml of α-amylase and glucoamylase 4 ml, D =6  ml  of α-amylase  and  6  ml  glucoamylase  three  replications.  Parameters  observed  that glucose levels,  levels of ethanol, and the volume  of bioethanol. Analysis  of the data by Analysist  Variance (ANOVA),  followed by Duncan's Multiple Test Test (DMRT). These results indicate that  administration of amylase enzyme is able to increase levels of ethanol until a certain volume. The most effective enzyme volume to produce the highest levels of bioethanol is the range of volume 2  ml α-amylase and 2 ml glucoamylase to 4 ml of α- amylase and 4 ml glucoamylase of ethanol  grading 63.33% to 69.00% with a distillation process the distillation temperature between 70-90oC.Keywords: Amylase, bioethanol, sago solid waste.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara yang memiliki keberagaman suku, budaya, agama dan lain sebagainya, sehingga tidak dipungkiri banyak negara yang memuji keindahan tersebut, namun kelebihan tersbut bisa menjadi bencana bagi bangsa ini karena rawan konflik yang bisa mengakibatkan disintegrasi nasional. Terorisme merupakan tindakan radikal yang dapat mengancam keberagaman di Indonesia, selain itu tindakan tersebut juga mencemarkan nama baik agama Islam karena menggunakan dalih agama Islam (jihad). Padahal agama Islam adalah rahmatan lil alamin yang menolak kekerasan dan menjunjung tinggi persatuan. Mirisnya lagi para pelaku sebagian besar dilakukan oleh pemuda, yang notabane-nya generasi penerus bangsa. Di sisi lain, terorisme juga mengancam eksistensi Pancasila dan Bhineka Tunggal Ika, karena para pelaku mengencam dan menolak dasar negara dan semboyan tersebut. Fenomena ini harus segera ditindaklanjuti agar tidak menjadi suatu budaya merambah ke generasi pemuda mendatang. Pendidikan multikultural menjadi salah satu solusi yang terbaik untuk menaggulangi tindakan tersebut, menggingat Indonesia adalah negara yang majemuk. Agar pendidikan multikultural bisa berjalan dengan efektif, tidak hanya diimplementasikan di jalur pendidikan formal (sekolah) saja, namun juga harus diimplementasikan di jalur pendidikan nonformal (keluarga), karena keluarga menjadi pondasi dalam membentuk karakter anak didik

Abstract

This research focuses on the design of city branding policies in Blitar Regency, East Java Province, Indonesia. Each region is responsible for enhancing its image through promotion and branding as a strategy to attract public and tourist attention. Blitar Regency proves that city branding can have a positive impact on the tourism sector, regional sustainability, and the welfare of its residents. The rebranding effort of tourism with the tagline "Blitar Land of Kings" has yielded positive results by facilitating recognition and increasing the attractiveness of Blitar Regency. The concept of holistic and integrated city branding becomes an important focus, referring to the City Brand Hexagon theory proposed by Simon Anholt. This research uses a literature study method to explore the elements of measuring the effectiveness of city branding in Blitar Regency. By using secondary data sources in the form of official government documents and scientific literature, this research is expected to provide a deep understanding of the impact and effectiveness of the branding strategy applied by Blitar Regency in attracting attention and increasing tourist visits.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is the most common non-communicable disease (NCD) in the world. This disease is a heterogeneous disease, characterized by high glucose levels. DM is the 4th cause of death in most developing countries. One of the complications of DM is neuropathy, which is reduced sensation in the feet and is often associated with ulcers on the feet. The aim of this community service is to provide information and knowledge about promotive and preventive efforts in dealing with DM. This outreach method is pre-test, education and post-test which is carried out using leaflets and questionnaires containing questions to measure the level of community knowledge. From this counseling, results were obtained through comparison charts between the pre-test and post-test, namely that there was an increase in knowledge from before the education was carried out and after the education about diabetes mellitus and treating foot ulcers using foot exercises. It is hoped that this counseling will continue to have a good impact on participants and can change healthy living behavior for the better.

Abstract

Sustainable development has become an important concern for educational institutions around the world, with a growing emphasis on the integration of socio-cultural perspectives into the curriculum. This paper presents a critical analysis of the role of socio-cultural education in promoting education for sustainable development (ESD) within pesantren settings. It explores the key issues and challenges surrounding the incorporation of socio-cultural elements based on local wisdom. This research is entitled "Sociocultural Learning Model for Empowering Sustainable Development Education in Islamic Boarding Schools through Local Cultural Contexts: Case Study at IGM Al-Ihsaniyah Islamic Boarding School Palembang". The main focus of this research is to analyze the implementation and find a suitable model for ESD-based Sociocultural Learning. This research uses a qualitative method with an intrinsic case study, exploring in depth how the concept of ESD is implemented in the pesantren environment. The informants in this study consisted of 5 people who were residents of the pesantren. The results showed that the integration of ESD in the pesantren curriculum has great potential to strengthen character values, independence, and environmental awareness among students. The main supporting factors in this implementation are the support from the pesantren leadership, active participation from the pesantren environment, and the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure. However, the study also found a number of barriers such as the limited understanding and awareness of educators regarding the concept of ESD, as well as the lack of resources and policy support that supports the implementation of ESD. These findings have implications for the importance of developing a Sociocultural learning model that is more comprehensive and adaptive to local needs in responding to the challenges of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Abstract

Social media, particularly Instagram, has become an effective medium for conveying Islamic preaching messages (da’wah). This study aims to analyze the content of wasilah-themed da’wah messages delivered by K.H. Ahmad Bahauddin Nursalim (Gus Baha) and to examine their impact on the development of Islamic preaching through Instagram. The research employs a content analysis method with a cultural approach, using data collected from the Instagram accounts @kajian.gusbaha, @ulama_ndonesia, @gusbaha1menit_official, and @shorts_gusbaha. Data were gathered through non-participant observation and literature study, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings indicate that the da’wah messages are categorized into three types: wasilah through figures (individuals), wasilah through worship practices, and wasilah through supplications and dhikr. These contents have a positive influence by motivating, inspiring, and strengthening the spiritual enthusiasm of Muslim communities, especially the younger generation. This study demonstrates the strategic role of digital da’wah via Instagram in promoting accessible and engaging Islamic teachings.

Abstract

Kebijakan biodiesel B50 menjadi wacana strategis dalam agenda transisi energi nasional Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara komprehensif peluang dan hambatan implementasi kebijakan B50 serta implikasinya terhadap agenda tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain studi literatur, mengumpulkan data sekunder dari jurnal ilmiah, media massa, dan dokumen kebijakan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model interaktif Miles and Huberman yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan B50 memiliki dualitas yang tajam. Di satu sisi, B50 menawarkan peluang besar untuk memperkuat ketahanan energi melalui pengurangan impor solar, menstabilkan ekonomi berbasis CPO, dan menurunkan emisi gas rumah kaca secara signifikan. Namun di sisi lain, implementasinya dihadapkan pada hambatan sistemik yang meliputi tantangan kesiapan teknis-infrastruktur, keberlanjutan fiskal terkait beban subsidi, dan dilema keberlanjutan lingkungan yang krusial menyangkut persaingan lahan antara energi dan pangan (food vs. fuel). Kesimpulan utama mengindikasikan bahwa keberhasilan B50 bersifat kondisional dan sangat bergantung pada kemampuan mengelola trade-off kebijakan, terutama melalui program intensifikasi perkebunan untuk menjamin pasokan bahan baku yang berkelanjutan tanpa mendorong deforestasi.

Abstract

Rendahnya semangat belajar pada bidang studi sejarah, khususnya materi Kebudayaan Hindu-Buddha di kelas X MA Bustanul Ulum 03 Kasiyan Timur, menjadi tantangan utama dalam proses pembelajaran. Kegiatan belajar yang masih fokus pada peran guru menyebabkan siswa kurang aktif dan tampak kurang bersemangat saat mengikuti pelajaran. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, digunakan model pembelajaran Window Shopping dengan dukungan media gambar guna menumbuhkan motivasi belajar siswa. penelitian menggunakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan campuran, yaitu kualitatif dan kuantitatif sederhana, yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, serta refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa dari 58% pada pratindakan menjadi 68% pada siklus I, dan meningkat lagi menjadi 82% pada siklus II. Siswa terlihat lebih aktif, antusias, dan berani dalam mengemukakan pendapatnya selama kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung. Model Window Shopping berbantuan media gambar efektif menciptakan pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menyenangkan, Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Window Shopping yang dipadukan dengan media gambar dapat menjadi salah satu pilihan strategi pembelajaran untuk menumbuhkan semangat belajar. Kata kunci: Window Shopping, media gambar, motivasi belajar, pembelajaran sejarah.
