Abstract

The problem raised in this paper is how the hijrah or hijrah community in Jambi city becomes a new alternative to Islamic education that is in demand by teenagers, and community groups that often escape the attention of Islamic educational institutions (punks, motorcycle gangs, and so on). The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical data related to the concept of hijrah offered by the hijrah community in Jambi city, and the concept of Islamic education initiated by the hijrah community in Jambi city. This study is a qualitative research, with the subject of research is the hijrah community in Jambi city which amounted to 2 communities, namely the community of Youth Move Up (YMU), and community of Shubuh Fighter. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis by describing the process of inductive thinking that departs from specific factors, concrete events and then from specific factors or events and concrete then it is drawn generalizations that are general. This study concludes that; (1) the concept of hijrah initiated by the ymu community and the community of Dawn fighters have differences and similarities. Both communities have the same goals and targets in general, namely millennials, whose goal is for members to migrate from a previous life away from religion to a life that is allowed by religion. The difference lies in the main approach that is specifically implemented by the community of Dawn Fighter, where the community has its own benchmark, that the beginning of the success of the hijrah was preceded by the improvement of Fajr prayer. If the morning prayer is good, then the other affairs will be good too. It will have an impact on you and it will have an impact on others. (2) The concept of Islamic education implemented by the YMU community, and the dawn Warrior community is basically the same, where learning about everyday life is not only carried out face-to-face in an activity, but also through social media platforms; YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and other social media, both in the form of videos, and nonsense. The concept of online activism of this kind makes the emergence of participation to participate in social movements, and is proven to be effective in inviting audiences to be able to follow the same steps. Then he used several approaches, namely the wisdom approach, the psychodynamic approach, and the hobby or pleasure approach.

A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with the principal, teachers, and students, as well as documentation related to the curriculum implementation. Data analysis was conducted using techniques of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings indicate that the integration of religious values and science in learning has positively impacted students' character development, such as enhanced discipline, responsibility, and empathy. However, challenges exist regarding the readiness of human resources and infrastructure that need to be addressed to maximize the effectiveness of this integrated curriculum implementation. Recommendations from this study include the necessity for continuous training for educators and improvement of supporting facilities to sustain the integration of the Religion and Science curriculum in students' character development.

Abstract

This paper examines the impact of human resource development (HRD) strategies on the professionalism and integrity of the police officers in Police Station Takalar, South Sulawesi in Indonesia. It also analyses four HRD dimensions based on the quantitative explanatory approach using training and education, ethical guidance, career management, and recruitment systems. Proportional stratified random sampling of 125 respondents using structured questionnaires was used to collect the data to ascertain the impact of each of the HRD components. The results indicate that training and education are the most influential ones, then ethical guidance and career management are moderate ones and recruitment is lower but not negligible. These findings point to the vitality of continuing professional growth and training centered on ethics in reinforcing both competence and moral uprightness in police officers. Another area of research that is covered is the absence of empirical research on how integrated HRD policies influence institutions that are in charge of national security. This study is unique in the sense that in contrast to earlier researches where the primary methods used were qualitative or normative, this study presents quantitative evidence that can be used to make more effective and responsible HRD policies. Implications include that the police institution reforms must focus on systemic capacity building as a strategic investment to increase credibility and community trust of the law enforcers.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effects of ciprofloxacin administration on serum creatinine levels and changes in kidney weight in male white rats (Rattus norvegicus) of the Wistar strain. Sixteen rats were divided into four groups: control (aquadest), ciprofloxacin doses of 4.5 mg/200 gBW, 9 mg/200 gBW, and 13.5 mg/200 gBW, administered orally for 14 days. Creatinine levels were measured before and after treatment, while kidneys were weighed to obtain absolute and relative weights. Results showed no significant difference in creatinine levels between groups (p > 0.05), with all values within the normal range. Relative kidney weight increased at the 13.5 mg/200 gBW dose (0.887%), while at low-moderate doses it tended to be lower than at the control. These findings indicate that high doses of ciprofloxacin have the potential to cause nephrotoxic effects, while low moderate doses did not trigger significant changes.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to transform geography learning through the utilization of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technology as a creative solution to enhance the quality of digital mapping at SMA Negeri 3 Takalar. The activities were carried out in several stages: needs analysis, technical training on UAV operation and mapping software, field practice mentoring, and evaluation of improvements in teachers’ and students’ competencies. The application of UAVs equipped with GPS and high-resolution cameras, combined with ArcGIS software, enabled mapping learning to become more interactive, contextual, and project-based. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in both teachers’ and students’ knowledge and skills in operating UAVs, processing spatial data, and producing digital thematic maps. The program also fostered greater student interest in learning and strengthened teachers’ capacity to integrate geospatial technology into the geography curriculum. This PKM recommends the continuation of training and curriculum development based on technology to support spatial literacy at the secondary school level.
