Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran materi fluida statis menggunakan pendekatan probing prompting learning. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek uji coba, yaitu kelas XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 10 Banjarmasin. Instrumen penelitian ini yaitu lembar validasi rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), lembar validasi materi ajar, lembar validasi lembar kerja siswa (LKS), lembar validasi tes hasil belajar (THB), lembar pengamatan keterlaksanaan RPP, THB, dan lembar penilian keterampilan proses sains (KPS). Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: 1) Perangkat pembelajaran dinyatakan valid dengan skor rata-rata 3,3, 2) Perangkat pembelajaran dinyatakan praktis dengan rata-rata 3,7 kriteria sangat tinggi,  3) Perangkat pembelajaran dinyatakan efektif dengan gain score 0,4 kriteria sedang, serta 4) Keterampilan proses sains siswa dalam kriteria terampil. Disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran materi fluida statis menggunakan pendekatan probing prompting learning yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Kurangnya pembelajaran yang aktif bagi siswa menyebabkan siswa kurang aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, hal ini diduga karena guru hanya menerapkan model pembelajaran dengan metode ceramah menyebabkan perlunya dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division. Tujuan khusus penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan: (1)  keterlaksanaan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), (2) aktivitas siswa, dan (3) hasil belajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri atas dua siklus, setiap siklusnya terdiri dari: perencanaan, tindakan/observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini ialah siswa VIII B SMPN 11 Banjarmasin. Perangkat dan instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS), Tes Hasil Belajar (THB), materi ajar, dan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa. Data diperoleh dari hasil tes dan observasi. Temuan penelitian yaitu: (1) keterlaksanaan RPP yaitu 73,4% pada siklus I dengan kategori baik menjadi 93,2% pada siklus II dengan kategori sangat baik; (2) Aktivitas belajar siswa juga meningkat dari 75,6% pada siklus I dengan kategori aktif menjadi 86,0% pada siklus II dengan kategori sangat aktif; (3) hasil belajar siswa, yaitu 13% pada siklus I menjadi 67% pada siklus II. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa aktivitas siswa VIII B SMPN 11 Banjarmasin meningkat setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division.

Abstract

Hasil belajar IPA fisika siswa kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 31 Banjarmasin rendah. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA fisika siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) keterlaksanaan RPP kooperatif tipe STAD, (2) peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD, (3) peningkatan keterampilan sosial siswa selama pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelasmenggunakan model Kemmis dan Taggart yang terdri dari 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII B SMPN 31 Banjarmasin. Data diperoleh melalui pengamatan dan tes hasil belajar. Data dianalisis secara deskrptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) adanya peningkatan keterlaksanaan RPP secara keseluruhan dari 71,29% menjadi 86,20%, (2) peningkatan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa setiap siklus yaitu 68,97% menjadi 96,55%, dan (3) keterampilan sosial siswa selama pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berkategori aktif. Diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran koperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA fisika siswa kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 31 Banjarmasin.

Abstract

Rendahnya keterampilan proses sains peserta didik dikarenakan penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang didominasi ceramah. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains dengan pembelajaran berorientasi learner autonomy. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas model Hopkins terdiri atas 2 siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) keterlaksanaan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaranpada siklus I dan siklus II terlaksana dengan sangat baik; (2) keterampilan proses sains secara pada siklus I memperoleh hasil dengan kriteria baik dan siklus II  memperoleh hasil dengan kriteria sangat baik; dan (3) ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat dari siklus I sebesar 64,29% menjadi 85,71% pada siklus II. Implementasi pembelajaran berorientasi learner autonomy mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan proses sains peserta didik di SMA Korpri Banjarmasin kelas XI MIPA dapat ditingkatkan melalui pembelajaran berorientasi learner autonomy.Students' low science process skills are due to the use of learning methods that are dominated by lectures. Therefore, this research was conducted to improve science process skills with an autonomous learner-oriented. This research is a Hopkins classroom action research model consisting of 2 cycles. The subject of the research was the students of class XI MIPA Korpri High School Banjarmasin. Data collection techniques were obtained through observation and tests. The results showed: (1) the implementation of the lesson plan implementation sheets in cycle I and cycle II was implemented very well; (2) science process skills in cycle I get results with good criteria and cycle II gets results with very good criteria; and (3) The completeness of the results of study participants students increased from cycle I amounted to 64.29% into 85.71% in cycle II. The implementation of learning, which is oriented towards students' learner autonomy, is significant enough to improve students' process skills. Thus it can be concluded that the science process skills of students in the Korpri High School Banjarmasin at MIPA XI class can be improved through autonomous learner oriented learning.

Abstract

One of the skills in physics learning is problem-solving skills. However, this skill is not sufficiently trained at school. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effectiveness of mechanical wave teaching materials that apply direct teaching models to improve students' problem-solving skills. This is a quantitative descriptive research with one group pre-test post-test design on 28 class XI MIA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Alalak students. According to Heller, data collection was obtained through problem-solving tests using indicators of problem-solving skills: visualizing problems, describing problems, planning solutions, implementing solutions, and evaluating problems. The study results stated that the mechanical wave teaching materials effectively improved students' problem-solving problem-solving by producing a problem-solving test N-gain score of 0.83 with a high category. This also shows an increase in students' problem-solving skills. Thus, teaching materials for mechanical waves using the direct teaching method are effectively used in physics learning to improve students' problem-solving skills at school.

Abstract

Scientific creativity involves creating innovative ideas, thoughts, or concepts. Scientific creativity in schools is not sufficiently trained. This study aims to produce valid, practical, and effective dynamic fluids student worksheets that are suitable for enhancing students' scientific creativity. This study applied the ADDIE model with 34 test subjects from the XI MIPA 3 class at SMA Negeri 8 Banjarmasin. Data were obtained from validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The results showed that: (1) The student worksheets is considered valid because the validation results of the student worksheets and learning outcome tests were categorized as very good; (2) The student worksheets is considered practical because the results of the student response questionnaires were categorized as good; (3) The student worksheets is considered effective because the N-Gain of scientific creativity was 0.70, which falls into the high category. The developed dynamic fluids student worksheets is appropriate for enhancing students' scientific creativity in physics learning. Teachers can use this the student worksheets as an alternative to improve students' scientific creativity in physics education efforts.

Abstract

Problem-solving skills are one of the 21st-century skills that students must master, but most students still have not mastered them. This research aims to describe the implementation and obstacles to implementing STEM-oriented direct instruction to improve students' problem-solving skills. This research is descriptive and qualitative in analyzing students' problem-solving skills. The subjects of this research were 20 students in class XI MIPA. The tools used are sound wave teaching materials that have been validated, and research instruments are student response questionnaires, and researchers act directly as teachers. Data analysis is carried out by reviewing the results obtained in the field through interviews, observations, and a collection of other documents. The data analysis stages in this research used the Miles and Huberman model: data classification, data display, and data validation. It was concluded that the implementation of learning took place according to the STEM-oriented direct instruction syntax, and several factors hindered the improvement of students' problem-solving skills, including internal factors, namely from within the students, and external factors, namely from the teacher and school.

Abstract

Problem-solving skills are among the key competencies in 21st-century life, yet they are poorly trained in schools. This study aims to produce a direct teaching-oriented temperature and heat worksheet that is feasible to use to improve students' problem-solving skills. The ADDIE design was used in the development of this worksheet. The worksheet was tested on 25 students in Class XI SMA. Data was measured using validation instruments, response questionnaires, and problem-solving tests. The results showed that the developed student worksheet was categorized as very valid, the student's response to using the worksheet was categorized as practical, and the student worksheet was categorized as effective because the N-Gain of problem-solving of 0.56 was categorized as moderate. This means that the developed direct teaching-oriented student worksheet is feasible to improve problem-solving skills. This student worksheet can be an alternative for teachers to equip 21st-century competencies, especially problem-solving skills.
