Abstract

Keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas X IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Marabahan masih tergolong rendah, hal ini diduga model pembelajaran yang diterapkan di sekolah belum mampu meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas X IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Marabahan melalui pembelajaran guided inquiry. Tujuan khusus penelitian adalah mengetahui keterlaksanaan RPP, keterampilan proses sains, dan hasil belajar siswa setelah dilakukan pembelajaran dengan guided inquiry. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik pengambilan data melalui observasi, tes hasil belajar, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Temuan penelitian yaitu: (1) keterlaksanaan RPP pada siklus I sebesar 3,71; siklus II sebesar 3,75; siklus III sebesar 3,87 dengan kategori sangat baik, (2) keterampilan proses sains siswa berkategori sangat baik, (3) hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 79,17%; siklus II sebesar 91,67%; siklus III sebesar 100%. Berdasarkan temuan diperoleh simpulan bahwa model pembelajaran guided inquiry dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas X IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Marabahan.                                                                                        The science process skill of class X-science of Marabahan Senior High School is still relatively low, it is suspected that school applied learning model not able to improve the science process skill. The purpose of this research is improve the science process skill of class X-science of Marabahan Senior High School utilize guided inquiry. The specific purpose is record feasibility the learning plans, science process skill, and student’s learning outcomes. Type of research is classroom action research. Collecting data through observation, learning outcomes test, and documentation. The results were analyzed by descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The findings of the research are: (1) feasibility of learning plans in the first cycle is 3,71; in the second cycle is 3,75; in the third cycle is 3,87 with a very good category, (2) science process skill is categorized very good, (3) student’s learning outcomes in the first cycle is 79,17%; in the second cycle is 91,67%; in the third cycle is 100%. Based on the findings obtained the conclusion  that guided inquiry can improve the science process skill of class X-science of Marabahan Senior High School.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran suhu dan kalor berorientasi keterampilan proses sains menggunakan model inqury discovery learning terbimbing berdasarkan dari validitas, kepraktisan, keefektifan dan pencapaian keterampilan proses sains. Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran dengan model ADDIE (analyze, design, development, implement, evaluate) yang diuji cobakan di SMA Negeri 10 Banjarmasin kelas X6 menggunakan one-grup pretest-posttest design. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) Validitas perangkat berkategori sangat baik: rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) berkategori sangat baik, lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD) berkategori sangat baik, tes hasil belajar berkategori sangat baik, materi ajar berkategori sangat baik. (2) Kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran berkategori sangat praktis berdasarkan hasil keterlaksanaan RPP. (3) Keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran berkategori efektif berdasarkan N-gain tes hasil belajar siswa. (4) Pencapaian keterampilan proses berdasarkan hasil LKPD dan lembar pengamatan berkategori terampil. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian meunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran berkategori sangat baik, sangat praktis, efektif dan terampil sehingga perangkat pembelajaran layak untuk diimplementasikan.The purpose of this study is description the feasibility of learning materials temperature and heat that oriented science process skills by using guided inquiry discovery learning model based on the validity, practicality, effectiveness and achieving of science process skills. Development learning materials with the ADDIE model (Analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluate) tested in SMA Negeri 10 Banjarmasin class X6 by using one- group prettest-posttest design. The result of this research show: 1) validity of learning materials very good category : the lesson implementation plan very good category, student works sheet (LKPD) very good category, student's learning results very good category, student Book very good category. 2) practicality of learning materials very practical category based on result  the application of the lesson plan in classroom. 3) effectieveness of learning materials Which is the effective category based on the research N-gain students learning result. 4) Achievement of science process skills based on result that the LKPD and observation sheet skilled category. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the developed learning materials are very good, very practical, effective and skilled so that learning materials feasible to be used implemented.

Abstract

Hasil belajar IPA fisika siswa kelas VIII G SMP Negeri 13 Banjarmasin rendah. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melakukan penelitian untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA fisika siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) keterlaksanaan RPP model pembelajaran 5E, (2) hasil belajar sikap spiritual, (3) sikap sosial, (4) keterampilan, dan (5) pengetahuan. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang terdiri dari 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 29 siswa kelas VIII G SMP Negeri 13 Banjarmasin. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, angket, dan tes. Temuan penelitian dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu: (1) Keterlaksanaan RPP secara keseluruhan meningkat dari 69,5% menjadi 84,1%, (2) Sikap spiritual meningkat dari 66,8% menjadi 72,0%, (3) Sikap sosial siswa meningkat dari 53,75% menjadi 86,25%, (4) kompetensi keterampilan meningkat dari 63,25% menjadi 92,75%, dan (5) hasil belajar pengetahuan meningkat dari 44,4% menjadi 78,6%. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah model pembelajaran 5E dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA fisika siswa kelas VIII G SMP Negeri 13 Banjarmasin. The learning outcomes of physics subject in students grade VIII G SMP Negeri 13 Banjarmasin on the competence of attitudes, skills, and knowledge are low. Therefore, the researcher conducted the study to improve the learning outcomes of natural sciences physics subject to students toward those three competencies. This study aimed to describe : (1) the implementation of the lesson plan (RPP) for learning model 5E, (2) students learning outcomes. The type of research used Classroom Action Research (PTK) of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which consist of two cycles. The data obtained from observation, questionnaires, and test. The result of the study from cycle I to cycle II, namely: (1) the implementation of the lesson plan (RPP) overall increases from 69,5% to 84,1%, (2) spiritual attitudes increase from 66,8% to 72,0%, (3) social attitudes of the students increase from 53,75% to 86,25%, (3) skills competence increases from 63,25% to 92,75%, and the knowledge of learning outcomes increase from 44,4% to 78,6%. The conclusion is the learning model of 5E can improve the learning outcomes of physics subject in students grade VIII G SMP Negeri 13 Banjarmasin.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA siswa melalui metode problem posing dan metode problem solving di SMP Negeri 26 Banjarmasin. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan randomized pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 26 Banjarmasin, dimana teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Berdasarkan teknik tersebut diperoleh kelas sampel yaitu, VIIIB sebagai kelas eksperimen I dan VIIID sebagai kelas eksperimen II. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah Tes Hasil Belajar, yaitu pretest dan posttest. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t, diperoleh bahwa thitung sebesar 0,245 kurang dari ttabel sebesar 1,997. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan penerapan metode problem posing dan metode problem solving terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Questions used in school have not been analyzed by the item and only in one representation. This study aims to produce quality multi-representation-based cognitive instruments on Newton's law material for junior high school students in Banjarmasin. This study specifically aims to describe (1) the validity of cognitive instruments, (2) the reliability of cognitive instruments, (3) the level of difficulty of cognitive instruments, and (4) the discrimination power of cognitive instruments based on multi representation. The method used is the Research & Development (R & D) method by using the adaptation of the procedure model from Borg & Gall. Data were analyzed using classic formulas and through Rasch applications. The sample of the study was 204 eight grade students from Public Junior High Schools 14 Banjarmasin, Public Junior High Schools 25 Banjarmasin, and Public Junior High Schools 28 Banjarmasin. The results showed that (1) the validity of cognitive instruments developed is considered valid, (2) the reliability of cognitive instruments developed is relatively reliable, (3) the level of difficulty of cognitive instruments developed is divided into two categories; very difficult and very easy, and (4) the discrimination power of cognitive instruments developed is divided into three categories; repaired, accepted but needs to be repaired, and accepted. It can be concluded that the multi-representation-based cognitive instrument on Newton's law material on eighth grade students of junior high school in Banjarmasin is suitable for assessment of learning outcomes. So that the instruments developed can be used by teachers to assess student learning outcomes in the material of Newton's law.
