Abstract

In general housing construction inBanjarmasincan be classified in three type : that is wood construction house, concrete construction and wood construction  with brick wall. Special for the a wood construction house have brick wall, generally used column from ulin wood. But from some assessment reason and construction limitation by ulin wood this time, hence in this research try to give scheme alternative with usage precast concrete column at wood construction house have brick wall in BanjarmasinIntention of this research is to study elegibility of ulin column replacement with precast concrete column cover the nature of technical and execution phase making of precast concrete column. Concrete precast column which used in this scheme of designed as according to ulin column dimension to be replaced with by virtue of structural reason, egreement with other element .In research aim to analyze that construction house with competent and valid precast concrete column to be utilized and weared in practice in the place of ulin column. Validasi Elegibility of usage precast concrete column evaluated from some aspect covering assessment about and desain strength of pracetak concrete column at the time of comparison and scheme strength of ulin column with precast concrete column.

Abstract

Strengthenning and Retrofitting methods already had applicated in buildings. Beam is One of structure elements can be strengthenned  in  order to maintain efficient serviceability structure that can be caused change of function from structures likes overloading or lack of quality control at construction so it can fulfill the code of structures to day and future.  This research had to know about effectiveness strengthening methods of reinforced concrete beams using longitudinal compression and tension reinforcement with jacketing mortar as flexural strengthening  and had to know effectiviness of theoritical methods for interpreting result . In this research specimen models consist of  four specimens: one was control beam (BK), one was monolith beam (BM) and one was strengthened beam (BP)without bonding agent and BP2 was strengthenned beam with bonding agent . All beams were tested under 2-point loading midspan as flexural load and also instrumented for the measurement of mid-span deflection and crack pattern. Test result were  compared to analytical method and program computer based layer method (software Response-2000). The result shows performanced of Response-2000 as layer method an theoritical methods provided equal performances if compared with experimenta method. It can be shown that the percentags  of  Ultimate Load between Response 2000 with experimental method was 107 % -109% for BK, 110,42-111,40% for BM , 83,77% - 83,81% forBP1 dan 87,66-87,70 for BP2. Failure patterns of the control beam (BK) and monolithical beam (BM) were flexural while the strengthened beams had debonding. At this researched, an analythical method (Response-2000)also presented equal performance at failure patterns. It can be shown two specimens (BK and BM) were flexural failured an others (BP1 and BP2) were debonding failured too.

Abstract

In order to maintain efficient serviceability structure cause change of function from structures likes overloading or lack of quality control at construction , structures must be strengthened so they can to fulfill the code of structures built to day and future. One of method to strengthenned of structures elements was beams elements. This research had to know about effectiveness strengthening methods of reinforced concrete beams using longitudinal compression and tension reinforcement with jacketing mortar as flexural strengthening  and had to know about implementation for mortar that had high flowability.In this research specimen models consist of  four specimens: one was control beam (BK), one was monolith beam (BM) and one was strengthened beam (BP) . All beams were tested under 2-point loading midspan as flexural load and also instrumented for the measurement of mid-span deflection and crack pattern.The result show that monolith and strengthened beams have performed better in the ultimate load for BM specimen were 124,79% , BP specimen were 75,49% compared BK specimen. Ductility of beam at experiment for BM specimen decrease were 55,78% compared BK , ductility of BP specimen increased  were 50,61% compared BK specimen because of debonding . Failure patterns of the control beam (BK) and monolithical beam (BM) were flexural while the strengthened beam (BP) had debonding. At this researched, methods of strengthened reinforced concrete beam with mortar jacketing had simply worked for implementation.

Abstract

Gedung Pendopo Mahligai Iman Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu di Batulicin yang memiliki konstruksi 2 lantai didesain dengan fungsi sebagai kantor dan aula pertemuan. Diduga telah terjadi kegagalan struktur  karena terasa gerakan pada saat penggunaan dalam kondisi beban penuh. Untuk itu dilakukan penyelidikan, untuk kekuatan beton dengan hammer test, deformasi dengan theodolite dan retak dengan mikroskop digital pembesaran 200x. Setelah penyelidikan, dilanjutkan dengan permodelan menggunakan perangkat lunak sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulan kondisi penyebab terjadinya kegagalan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa kuat tekan kolom beton memiliki kekuatan sebesar 45MPa serta balok dan plat sebesar 26MPa. Hasil analisa menunjukkan perilaku penurunan plat terbesar adalah 76mm. Pengujian retak struktur pada balok-balok penopang kubah menunjukkan adanya kegagalan struktur dengan beban konstruksi yang berlebih (retak struktural >3mm dengan jumlah yang banyak). Melalui permodelan diperoleh untuk elemen plat mengalami perilaku melendut/deformasi yang besar diprakirakan akibat kesalahan detailing plat, gambar kerja diameter yang 100 mm namun akibat kurangnya pembesian hanya memiliki kekuatan setara dengan diameter 60 mm. Ukuran balok lapangan juga sangat tidak memenuhi syarat yang mana seharusnya adalah 400/300.Dapat disimpulkan bahwa bangunan mengalami degradasi kemampuan. Rekomendasi yang diberikan adalah dilakukan perbaikan pada konstruksi bangunan dengan berbagai metode  perbaikan (retrofitting) beton seperti penggunaan CFR (carbon fibre reionforced), Jacketing pada kolom dan Shortcrete grouting mortar untuk retak yang terjadi. Harus ada maintenance (perawatan) konstruksi bangunan secara periodik agar konstruksi tetap aman dan nyaman untuk dipergunakan oleh publik.

Abstract

Structure irregularities can affect a building's ability to respond to earthquakes. One of the irregular configurations often encountered is the setback structural system which is a structure with the top of the building protruding inward, causing high vertical irregularities. This study aims to determine differences in earthquakes effect between setback structural systems and non-setback structural systems by seismic response analysis. In this analysis, there are four building models with structure irregularity variations at the same conditions and location as a comparison. Model 1 is a building without vertical irregularities or non-setbacks, while the other three models are setback buildings. The building location for this analysis is Hulu Sungai Utara District in very soft soil site class (E) because the earthquake risk in this location tends to be greater than in other South Kalimantan districts. As the results of this comparative analysis based on the base shear, displacement, and drift values, the best model is model 4, which is a setback building, because the output values are smaller compared to the other three model's output. This result is due to the mass reduction in the setback building model because of vertical geometry irregularity by 150% in the x direction and 366% in the y direction.
