Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of responsiveness, ethics auditor, bussiness scale, and resources availability on audit quality and to examine the effect of work experience as a moderating the effect of responsiveness, ethics auditor, bussiness scale and resources availability on audit quality. The population in this study were all Public Accounting Firm were registered in IAPI (Institute of Public Accountants Indonesia) in Pekanbaru and Padang, which amounts to 16 (Sixteen) Public Accounting Firm. Samples determined using purposive sampling method. Methods of data collection in this study using questionnaires. While the method of data analysis and hypothesis testing using Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results showed that the responsiveness, ethics auditor, bussiness scale, and resources availability significantly affect the audit quality. Responsiveness and ethics auditor are moderated by work experience significantly affect the audit quality. While the bussiness scale and resources availability are moderated by work experience do not significantly affect the audit quality. R2 value equal to 0.954, which means 95.4% of the independent variables in this study could affect the dependent variable, while the remaining 4.6% is explained by other variables that are not included in this study.Keywords: Quality audit, work experience, responsiveness, business scale, resources availability

Abstract

Covid-19 merupakan virus yang sangat menular dan menyebar dengan sangat cepat ke seluruh dunia. Hal ini sangat berdampak luas pada semua segmen kehidupan sosial, termasuk pendidikan. Menyikapi masalah ini, pemerintah Indonesia untuk sementara waktu menghilangkan proses belajar mengajar di sekolah dan melakukan pembelajaran dari rumah. Pendidik dituntut untuk dapat memberikan pengajaran kepada peserta didik sesuai dengan situasi dan kondisi yang dihadapi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi gaya belajar siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Binjai dan menemukan media pembelajaran yang paling sesuai dengan gaya belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Dokumentasi, Observasi, dan Wawancara digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya belajar visual adalah yang paling disukai sehingga video instruksional ditemukan sebagai yang paling tepat media pengajaran. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi guru untuk memahami pembelajaran gaya siswa mereka sebagai orientasi untuk menentukan pembelajaran yang tepat.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how influential innovation is carried out in the learning process in the classroom, this research method uses a qualitative research method, namely by telling information obtained from interviews with resource persons, in addition to research interviews also using several literature review sources by reading several journal and book references. The findings obtained from this study are: (1) innovation is very necessary because it plays an important role in the learning process, (2) in the learning process must be carried out a learning process that is fun with ice breaking techniques etc., (3) communication between the principal and subordinates is very influential on teacher performance, (4) innovation in schools must be done gradually in order to get effective results.

Abstract

Entering the era of globalization , the Islamic educational institutions have a huge responsibility in responding to various demands of society , especially in improving the quality of education by improving the quality of human resources in it . Performance management is one of the alternatives that can be used by Islamic educational institutions to improve the quality of human resources in order to achieve its objective of institutional accordance with market demand. Through performance management applied to the Islamic education institutions, is expected to create a climate and atmosphere -oriented organization of quality (quality culture) and has keungulan compete ( competitive advantage) with other educational institutions

Abstract

Character education applied aims to improve the quality and result of education implementation that leads to the achievement of integrated and balanced students’ character building according to the graduate competence standard. In order to measure the success of character education, an integrated evaluation is conducted which covers: 1) context evaluation that comprises of policy basis, needs’ perception and purpose of character education program; 2) input evaluation that comprises of strategic planning, organizational structure design, implementation procedure, and resources availability of character education program; 3) process evaluation that comprises of coordination, implementation, and supervision of the character education program enforcement; and 4) product evaluation which comprises of the achievement and impact of character education program. The evaluation of character education program is conducted in order to give reinforcement, improvement, and to measure the success of the character education program implementation carried out by education institution.
