Abstract

Indonesia darurat narkoba. Jumlah penyalahguna dan pecandu narkoba di Indonesia menunjukkan peningkatan jumlah setiap tahunnya. Aparat kepolisian dan BNN (Badan Narkotika Nasional) telah berusaha untuk memutus tali peredaran narkoba dan memberikan rehabilitasi bagi para penyalahguna dan pecandu narkoba. Tetapi pada kenyataannya 70% mantan pecandu narkoba mengalami kambuh dan kembali mengonsumsi narkoba. Program rehabilitasi medis dan sosial telah diberikan kepada pecandu narkoba tetapi pada pelaksanaannya program rehabilitasi tersebut dijalankan lebih pada konsep punitive daripada rehabilitative, sehingga kebutuhan psikologis para pecandu kurang diperhatikan. Program rehabilitasi diberikan untuk memulihkan dampak fisik dan psikologis yang ditimbulkan akibat penggunaan narkoba dalam jangka waktu tertentu, seperti misalnya gangguan pada kemampuan komunikasi yang dialami pecandu. Berdasarkan paparan tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali kebutuhan psikologis pada pecandu narkoba dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan teknik journaling. Data yang didapat dianalisis melalui empat tahapan yaitu categorical aggregation, direct interpretation, mencari pola (pattern), dan naturalistic generalization. Hasil penelitian ini mendapatkan 6 kebutuhan psikologis pada pecandu narkoba yaitu need of aggression, need of abasement, need of affiliation, need of play, need of sex, need of succorance. Abstract

For couples who have built a family of course have to hope to become an intact family, prosperous, full of warmth, and affection. Building a happy family would not be complete without having a descendant or child as the future generation. Every married couples had hopes of having children who are physically and mentally healthy, smart, and can be a pride for the family. To have a child with such expectations, of course parents have a very significant role, that parents are expected to watch each stage of development and needs of children in order to be passed and met properly. The couple who foster home must not be separated from a conflict. If the conflict in the household lead to divorce, and the couple decided to stay together with the ongoing conflict, then it can affect the psychological condition of children. As for the purpose of this study is to describe the self-concept in children whose parents are divorced but still living in one house, through interviews and observation methods.This qualitative study uses a case study approach. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Subjects in this study was a girl who was 11 years old whose parents divorced but still living in one house. Data are used in this research is observation, interviews, and field notes. The data were analyzed using technique of Stake analysts. Based on the analysis, it was found that there were 15 categories can be grouped into three patterns. The patterns are 1. Causative factors that influence a child?s self-concept; 2. Psychological characteristics; 3. The dimensions of self-concept in children with divorced parents. Children with divorced parents are expected to be open to problems encountered, and the child is expected to open up to the social environment in the company of those close to and trusted by the child, so the child can change aspects of their life, towards positive self-concept.Keywords : self-concept, child, divorced parents, divorce

Abstract

During the pregnancy, a mother has experienced a significant changes to the physiological function and their psychological that causing an anxiety. Pregnant women who experience excessive anxiety during pregnancy until the delivery would cause pain during childbirth and this must be addressed, namely pregnant women should have the peace that the birth process to be smooth. Many natural ways that can be used to help reduce maternal anxiety, one way is to follow the hypnobirthing techniques. There are a lot of natural ways that can be used to help them decreased their anxiety. One thing that can be done is following the hypnobirthing technique. The aim of this research is to observed the relationship of hypnobirthing participation intensity with the anxiety levels of pregnant woman. The subject of this research were 20 pregnant women who take the hypnobirthing techniques with a gestational age around 7-9 months in Gianyar. The sample were selected using total sampling method. The anxious scale of the subjects were pointing to the aspects that stated by Daradjat. The intensity of participation in hypnobirthing is accounted by present list. The method of analyzing data in this research was by using the spearman non-parametric analysis. This research uses unused and try out the validity of the results obtained from 0,270 to 0.738, while the value of reliability for (a = 0.908). The result of the test analysis data is, there was a significant nominal for p=0,001 (p<0,05) with coefficient correlation value it is -689. That coefficient correlation has indicated that there was a negative relation between the anxious variable, to the participation of hypnobirthing intensity. Therefore, the hypothesis (Ha) in this research was acceptable. That is, if the intensity of the routine participation hypnobirthing the anxiety level will decrease. Support of the role of fathers and families in the process of hypnobirthing is highly recommended for pregnant women in order to obtain better results. Abstract

This study aims to determine the emotion influence towards use of the dominant color on early childhood coloring activities and also see the influence of positive and negative emotions toward the dominant color that used. Emotions are a condition that involves physiological, psychological, and feelings to act, because of the stimulus received by the senses, will be response, and processed. Emotions can be divided into positive emotions consist of happiness, excitement, also surprise and negative emotions consist of anger, sadness, fear, and disgust. Colors can manifest emotions that felt by someone. Bright color associated with positive emotions, and the dark color associated with negative emotions. Dominant color is color that most widely used in one image area. To count the area of the color is using grid technique or square method. This study use quasi experimental design with treatment by subject. The sampling was 30 students from Tunas Mekar Sari Kindergarten that taken by purposive sampling technique. The data analysis methods are using Crosstabs function, Chi-Square Test, and Coefficient Contingency C. Data analysis and study result find there are three hypotheses received, those are the strong emotion influence towards use of the dominant color on early childhood coloring activities, the strong positive emotion influence towards use of the bright dominant color, also the very strong negative emotion influence towards use of the dark dominant color. Abstract

Indonesia placed the 4th rank in the highest number of smokers in the world which consisted of not only adults but also adolescents. There are several things that influence adolescent smoking behavior, namely parenting style, peers, personality factors, and also advertisements. Parenting style which will be investigated in this research has three forms namely democratic, authoritarian, and permissive. Permissive parenting style is one form of parenting style which is presumably associated with smoking behavior. Permissive parenting style has characteristics as no child guiding, agreeing child's behavior, and do not use punishment, thus making the child feels brave in doing maladaptive behaviors such as smoking. Since the prevalence of smoking behavior among men is bigger, the researcher wanted to see whether there is a relationship between permissive parenting style of mother and smoking behavior of male adolescents in SMA Negeri 1 Semarapura. Subjects in this research are 75 male students in SMA Negeri 1 Semarapura. Research method uses correlational study. Data are collected with questionnaires. Permissive parenting style of mother questionnaire has 16 valid items and its reliability coefficient is 0,916 which means the questionnaire is reliable since its reliability coefficient is higher than minimum standard 0,600. Smoking behavior questionnaire has 20 valid items and its reliability coefficient is 0,906 which means the questionnaire is reliable since its reliability coefficient is higher than minimum standard 0,600. Result of assumption test shows data are normal and linear. Linearity test between permissive parenting style of mother and smoking behavior has significance level 0,000 which means linear since its significance level is lower than 0,05. Result of this research finds positive significant relationship between permissive parenting style of mother and smoking behavior and its correlational coefficient is 0,493. The value of coefficient of determination is 0,243 which shows permissive parenting style of mother has 24,3% contribution to smoking behavior. Abstract

Premenopausal-aged women are susceptible to self-adjustment problems against changes experienced such as physical and psychological changes. Emotional intelligence plays an important role in addressing various issues, especially self-adjustment problems in premenopausal-aged women. This quantitative research with the correlational approach aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and self-adjustment in premenopausal-aged women in South Denpasar District. The research samples are premenopausal-aged women in Sanur Village, South Denpasar District as many as 336 women using the one-stage cluster sampling technique. This study uses two scales of measurement namely the emotional intelligence scale and the self-adjustment scale. The emotional intelligence scale consists of 30 items with the reliability value = 0.974; and the self-adjustment scale consists of 29 items with the reliability value = 0.954. The data in this study show normal distribution with p = 0.111 for emotional intelligence and p = 0.224 for self-adjustment, and have a linear relationship (p = 0.000). The technique for the analysis used by the researcher in this study is Pearson’s product moment correlation. The analysis shows that there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and self-adjustment (p = 0.000, p <0.05). Emotional intelligence also has a direct and positive relationship with self-adjustment, in which the value of r = 0.913; there is no negative sign, and it can be said that emotional intelligence and self-adjustment have a very strong relationship (r = 0.913). Abstract

The children with intellectual disability have characteristics, such as significant disability in functioning whether it is intellectually or adaptively which is realised through the ability of conceptual, social, and practice. This situation appears before the age of 18 yeears old.In educational level as Elementary School, children are often emphasized in order to have reading ability. If children in early educational level do not have reading ability, they will have difficulties in learning such kinds of subject on next level. Other than obtaining the reading practice at school, children also obtain such lesson as gathering a story. In this case, children should be able to comprehend the story, memorize the character of the story, and comprehend the background and plot of the story. The activities of reading and gathering a story for children who are classified into intellectual disability will have more difficulties rather than those children who do not have disabilities and have education in regular school. The researcher design the modification program for those children like this which is known by remedial therapy. Remedial therapy is a healing or improvement effort, an enhancement of someone’s intellectual to be normal or near normal (Mangunsong, 2009).This research was quantitative research which used Wilcoxon analysis. The data were collected through experiment method with pre-experiment design. The technique used to obtain the sample was purposive sampling. The subject of this research were the children who have intellectual disability, in amount of three children. The result of this research showed that the probability of reading ability was 0.028 (p)<0.05, while the probability of gathering a story was 0.027 (p)<0.05. It means that there were effects of remedial therapy toward reading ability and gathering a story on children’s intellectual disability. Abstract

In the process of child development, Children have needs and it’s has to be filled. One of these needs called psychological needs. Psychological needs are a very important role which can give an impact to the growth and development of physical, cognitive, and socio-emotional. When children are not able to obtain their needs, it would cause adjustment problems and one of the problems is emotional and behavioral disorders. There are so many way to detect children with emotional and behavioral disorders, one of these is art therapy. Art therapy can be used as a communication media for children with emotional and behavioral disorders which have difficulty to express or recognize emotions. The purpose of this study is for knowing the psychological needs of children with emotional and behavioral disorders through interview and observation with art therapy.This qualitative study uses a case study approach. The sampling technique of the study was purposive sampling. Subject in this study was a 12-year-old girl with emotional and behavioral disorders. The data was collected with observation, filed note and interview by using art therapy as a media. The collected data are analyzed according to Cresswell’s theory (2007).Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that there are 23 categories which can be classified into three patterns. These patterns are 1. the causes of children with emotional and behavioral disorders; 2. psychological characteristics; and 3. the psychological needs of children with emotional and behavioral disorders. Abstract

Slameto (2003) explains that one of the factors that influence learning achievement is a relation peers or position of the student relationship with friends around. The position of the student relationship with a friend in the class can be described by Sociometrics Status. Sociometric status means a reflection of the general acceptance of individuals by peers (Finch, 1998) The purpose of this study was to determine differences in learning achievement in terms of sociometric status in SMPN 1 Bangli.This research is a mixed-method. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. Subjects in this study amounted to 189 students who attend school at SMPN 1 Bangli. Data mining techniques used in this study begins with interviews and the interviews made in the questionnaire and subsequent sociometric status sociometric status questionnaire distributed to the study subjects. Data were analyzed using the Kruskal-Wallis test. Based on the results of data analysis, showed that there is a significant difference in learning achievement in terms of sociometric status in SMPN 1 Bangli. If students want to get high academic achievement, the students can improve their relationships with friends around. Keyword: Learning Achievement, Sociometric Status.
