Abstract

The concept of science is abstract so that it requires contextual learning in order to grow students' cognitive. One of the efforts is by implementing learning and assessment that measures the level of ability as a whole, such as applying a diagnostic assessment at the HOTS level. The purpose of this research was to determine the validity and legibility of the HOTS test instrument based on 3TMC on the theme of maintaining blood pressure. This research refers to the Thiagarajan model consisting of 3 stages, namely: define, design, and develop. The subjects of this study were 2 material expert lecturers, 2 evaluation expert lecturers, 3 practitioners, and 30 grade VIII junior high school students. Data was collected using interview sheets, validation sheets, and readability questionnaires.The results of the validity of the instrument obtained an average percentage of 92.1% in the very valid category so that the 3TMC-based HOTS test instrument can be used as an evaluation tool. Furthermore, the product was revised and reduced so as to obtain a readability proportion of 86.5% in the very good category which proves that the product loading material is understandable, presented in an attractive manner, written in easy-to-understand language, and the presentation of tables and figures is appropriate.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang ditemukan pada beberapa SMP di Cilegon adalah kemampuan literasi sains siswa tergolong rendah sesuai dengan data hasis AKM. Pengembangan media pembelajaran website berbasis literasi sains menjadi resolusi dari permasalahan pembelajaran yang dihadapi siswa. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk berbentuk website selamatkan bumi kita berbasis literasi sains tema global warming yang valid sehingga bisa diaplikasikan dalam pembelajaran kelas VII pada tingkat SMP. Penelitian dan pengembangan merupakan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dan diadaptasi dari 4-D. Model ini terdiri dari 4 tahap pengembangan yaitu pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Tahapan yang telah dilakukan sampai tahap pengembangan berupa validasi ahli. Hasil dari validasi ahli materi mendapat presentase senilai 95.45% termasuk pada kriteria “sangat valid”, presentase hasil validasi ahli media senilai 88.75% termasuk pada kriteria “sangat valid”, dan validasi praktisi mendapatkan presentase nilai 90.79% masuk pada kriteria “sangat valid”. Nilai presentase rata-rata dari para ahli didapatkan perhitungan senilai 91.66% masuk pada kriteria “sangat valid” sehingga media pembelajaran website berbasis literasi sains dapat digunakan oleh siswa maupun guru pada tingkat SMP sebagai media pembelajaran pendukung pada tema global warming. Perlu dilakukan uji coba lebih lanjut terkait media pembelajaran website berbasis literasi sains.

Abstract

Kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan berjalan kurang efektif karena kurangnya minat belajar siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, hasil tersebut disebabkan oleh kurangnya media pembelajaran yang tersedia dan kurang menariknya media pembelajaran, sehingga pemahaman siswa dalam memahami materi tema kelistrikan pada sistem saraf menjadi kurang maksimal. Salah satu media yang menarik dan dapat dikembangkan yaitu media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Articulate Storyline. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, mengetahui tingkat kevalidan dan tingkat efisiensi dari media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah R&D menggunakan model 4D dari Thiagarajan akan tetapi hanya dibatasi sampai tiga tahap yaitu pengembangan (Development). Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar validasi ahli untuk menguji serta angket respon siswa untuk mengukur tingkat efisiensi dari produk yang dikembangkan. Hasil validasi dari media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Articulate Storyline tema kelistrikan pada sistem saraf untuk menumbuhkan minat belajar siswa kelas IX secara keseluruhan berdasarkan hasil validasi dari beberapa validator memperoleh nilai persentase sebesar 92,20%, ahli materi memperoleh nilai persentase sebesar 84,34% dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”, ahli media memperoleh nilai persentase sebesar 97,61 % dan guru IPA memperoleh nilai persentase sebesar 94,60% dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”. Hasil tingkat efisiensi dari media pembelajaran memperoleh nilai persentase sebesar 89,94% dengan kategori “Sangat Efisien.

Abstract

The snack food industry is one of the major industries in Indonesia that has various types of products, one of which is snacks (cookies), which are widely consumed as snacks. This study aims to determine the characteristics of wastewater from the snack food industry (cookies). The research was conducted in three factories located in Bandung Regency, Sumedang Regency and Majalengka Regency. Primary data were collected from wastewater samples collected monthly for laboratory testing. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis of average concentration of wastewater parameters using Microsoft Excel software and SPSS 25 software. The main parameters of wastewater from the snack food industry (cookies) are pH, TSS, BOD, COD, ammonia, total nitrogen, and MBAS. From the comparison of the resulting BOD, COD, TSS, ammonia, and total nitrogen pollutant loads, the largest load trends occur in Factory B, Factory C, and Factory A. Failure to properly treat these crucial wastewater parameters can pose risks to the environment and surrounding communities. Thus, these vital parameters form the basis for selecting wastewater treatment plant technology to fulfil environmental standards. WWTP process recommendations that can be used are grease trap, surge tank, dissolved air flotation (DAF), anaerobic system, aerobic system, secondary clarifier, and post-treatment.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low scientific literacy skills in Indonesia based on the results of the 2015 PISA survey and the limitations of teachers in measuring students' scientific literacy skills so that they have not been developed optimally. The purpose of this study is to develop and determine the level of feasibility of the Two-Tier Multiple Choice test evaluation instrument based on scientific literacy on the theme of acid rain. The research method used is the research and development method with the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluate) which in the development process is only at the Analyze, Design, Development, and Evaluate stages. The results of research and development in the form of a Two-Tier Multiple Choice test evaluation instrument based on scientific literacy on the theme of acid rain indicate that the product developed is very feasible based on assessments by material experts, evaluation experts, and three teachers with a total of 40 questions and gets a score the average is 97% based on material experts, 96% based on evaluation experts, 98% based on science teachers 1, 78% based on science teachers 2, and 99.8% based on science teachers 3. very feasible category with the overall average score of the validation has a percentage of 95%. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan literasi sains di Indonesia berdasarkan hasil survey PISA tahun 2015 dan keterbatasan guru dalam mengukur kemampuan literasi sains siwa sehingga belum dikembangkan secara optimal. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan serta mengetahui tingkat kelayakan instrumen evaluasi tes Two-Tier Multiple Choice berbasis literasi sains pada tema hujan asam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluate) yang dalam proses pengembangannya hanya pada tahapan Analyze, Design, Development, dan Evaluate. Hasil dari penelitian dan pengembangan berupa instrumen evaluasi tes Two-Tier Multiple Choice berbasis literasi sains pada tema hujan asam menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan sangat layak berdasarkan penilaian oleh ahli materi, ahli evaluasi, dan tiga guru dengan jumlah soal sebanyak 40 butir soal dan mendapat skor rata-rata yaitu 97% berdasarkan ahli materi, 96% berdasarkan ahli evaluasi, 98% berdasarkan guru IPA 1, 78% berdasarkan guru IPA 2, dan 99,8% berdasarkan guru IPA 3. Kesimpulannya, dari 40 soal yang dikembangkan keseluruhan berada dalam kategori sangat layak dengan skor rata-rata keseluruhan validasi memiliki persentase sebesar 95%. Abstract

The paper aims to determine the effectiveness of several alternative technologies that have been applied in centralized domestic wastewater management systems, especially in West Java and Banten provinces, in the removal of domestic wastewater pollutant parameters. The study was conducted in SPALD-Ts, including the Anaerobic Baffle Reactor (ABR) system, the Anobic Filter (AF) system, the combined ABR + AF system, and the Extended Aeration. The analysis was performed by sampling at the inlet and outlet points of the system for three consecutive years with sampling times from 2021 - 2023. The results of the research show that the efficiency of pollutant parameter separation based on the best technology in the separation of domestic wastewater pollutant parameters is the SPALDT extended aeration technology, where this technology can separate pollutant parameters up to an average of 88.25%, but in this technology requires more cost and periodic maintenance.
