Abstract

The main purpose of this research is to know the influence and interaction between experiential learning model and student creativity toward the result of mathematic learning.Population of this research is student of VIA and VIB class SDN Pelamunan Serang, 2017/2018 year. Sample of this research is taken by using Multi Stage Random Sampling. Research design used in this research is factorial design 2X2 with three variables which contains two independent variables are experiential learning model and student creativity; and one dependent variable is the result of mathematic learning.Collecting of the data is conducted by using test technique (the result of mathematic learning), questioner technique (student creativity) and document technique (experiential learning model). Data collected is analyzed by using ANAVA two sides and it is continued with the tukey test because there is influence between experiential learning models with student creativity toward the result of mathematic learning. Before the data is being analyzed, it is conducted descriptive statistical analysis and data testing (normality and homogeneity tests). Result of the research shows that: (1) experiential learning model gives influence to the result of mathematic learning, it is showed by the result of anava where F count is (11,589) more and F-table for the significance level 5% (4,00); (2) student creativity gives influence to the result of mathematic learning, it is showed by the result of anava where the F-count (33,362) more than F-table for the significance level 5% (4,00); (3) there is interaction between experiential learning model and student creativity toward the result of mathematic learning, it is showed by F count (4,627) more than F table for the significance level 5% (4,00); (4) there is influence of the result of mathematic learning with experiential learning concept for the student’s creativity, it is showed by the result of tukey test where the count test (17, 91) higher than t test.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah korelasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data variable konjektur dan justifikasi matematis dilakukan dengan menyebarkan angket dan kuesioner kepada 91 responden, sedangkan kemandirian belajar diperoleh dengan analisis data dari nilai mahasiswa. Dari hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa 1) ada hubungan antara konjektur terhadap kemadirian belajar mahasiswa pendidikan matematika semester V di Universitas Serang Raya, 2) ada hubungan antara justifikasi matematis terhadap kemadirian belajar mahasiswa pendidikan matematika semester V di Universitas Serang Raya, 3) ada hubungan antara konjektur dan justifikasi matematis mahasiswa pendidikan matematika semester V di Universitas Serang Raya dalam pembelajaran logika dasar

Abstract

Penelitan ini dibuat bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran Interactive Digital Comic pada materi operasi aljabar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMP kelas VII dan untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan peneliti. Pada penelitian kali ini peneliti menggunakan aplikasi Canva untuk mendesain komik dan model ADDIE (Analysis, Desain, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation) dengan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Interactive Digital Comic layak digunakan dengan tingkat kelayakan ahli materi memperoleh nilai 94% dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik”, ahli media memperoleh nilai 86% dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik”. Nilai rata-rata indeks gain adalah 0,46 termasuk ke dalam kategori sedang. Terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dari sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media pembelajaran Interactive Digital Comic pada materi operasi aljabar di SMP N 21 Kota Serang.

Abstract

During the Covid 19 pandemic, students had low motivation and enthusiasm because they were not ready to face the various difficulties caused by the pandemic. Students who have a growth mindset will have an impact on efforts to build quality education, especially during the Covid 19 pandemic and studies on growth mindset in the scope of education in Indonesia are still limited. The purpose of this research is to foster a growth mindset in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) goals in the form of efforts to build quality education during the Covid 19 pandemic. This research method uses the literature study method (research results review). The growth mindset has a very important role in building strong student personalities during the learning process during the Covid 19 pandemic. The quality of education has a major influence on other fields, and by having a growth mindset the younger generation can help the community and provide positive enthusiasm to face any situation, at any time, and to anyone. The slightest participation from youth who have a growth mindset will be able to bring about this change. From this study it resulted that a growth mindset can realize the achievement of the SDGs goals in the form of quality education efforts during the Covid 19 pandemic.

Abstract

In this research, justification ability is viewed from four indicators, namely the ability to develop mathematical arguments (proving), the ability to analyze (basic level), the ability to generalize, the ability to make decisions which are first analyzed for their initial mathematical abilities which are divided into three categories, namely high, medium and low levels. . The method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design, with division into experimental classes and control classes. The results obtained from each sample based on the initial mathematical ability level category are the highest N-Gain sequence at high KAM (0.3943), followed by medium KAM (0.3600) and overall KAM (0.514) and finally low KAM (0 ,22470).

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of students to make mathematical conjectures in statistics learning, especially on the topic of measures of central tendency, which is caused by the lack of interactivity and student involvement in mathematics learning. To overcome this, the study aims to develop and analyze the effectiveness of Electronic Student Worksheets (E-LKPD) based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) with Liveworksheet as an interactive learning medium. This study uses a research and development method (R&D) with a quasi-experimental design. The subjects of the study were seventh-grade junior high school students who participated in statistics learning. Data were collected through a mathematical conjecture ability test, observation of student engagement, and a questionnaire of student responses to the learning medium. The results showed that E-LKPD based on RME with Liveworksheet significantly improved students’ mathematical conjecture abilities, as evidenced by the increase in average scores before and after the use of the media. In addition, students showed high enthusiasm and active involvement during the learning process. In conclusion, the use of E-LKPD based on RME with Liveworksheet is effective as a tool to improve mathematical conjecture abilities in statistics learning, while increasing student motivation and participation.
